So I stopped playing warframe for about 4 months and now i came back and for some reason i lost my kubrow. Can someone help?

Kubrows can deteriorate over time even when you are offline. If you need/want to take a long break from the game, you ought to put your pet on stasis. You're gonna have to get a new one. :(

It might have died because its Genetic stability reached 0% if you left it ouside of stasis.

To prevent this in the future, put them into stasis before an extended leave,
there's also an Incubator upgrade that does this automatically.

As others have said, it died because of genetic instability and lack of upkeep. You would have to make another one. 

However, before you do this I'd like to mention that Kavats do not need DNA Stabilizers and do not have degrading Loyalty like Kubrows and Helminth Chargers do. As such, I recommend getting a Kavat if you intend on taking long breaks from the game often. 

I'd also like to mention the Incubator Upgrade available in the Tenno Lab Research in your Dojo. Getting that will automatically put your doggo in stasis, should you be unable to take care of it for a time and it gets close to dying. It's a really neat thing to have, for sure.

Alternatively, get a Sentinel. Vacuum, Medi-Ray, plethora of further support choices, ranged attacks, no derpy AI, yay.
