Miter with riven math

Could some1 explain me how exactly reload from rivens work... miter has base 2.0 reload after adding mod with 30% reload speed it went down to 1.6 . From the other hand after adding riven with negatiwe 65% it went to whopping 5.7 seconds!? If  positive 30% gives .4 secs how is that possible that negative 65% gives 3.7 secs more ?! Its actualy -185%

It's [reload time /(1+ mod reload bonus)] For miter and that riven it would be 2/(1-.65)=5.714

Those minus reload speed mods can have a huge effect.

Eh... doesn't that kind of mean the maths they're using to figure out the effects from mods is ... questionable?

Well, it looks like negative stats hurt us more, than positive stats benefit. Thats kinda not okey but i'll live with that.
