Corpus - getting lost

I am MR8, PS4, doing pretty well generally in most all aspects of the game.  Even slowed myself down to fall back and review.  I felt I was too concentrated on the Mastery Rank aspect at the expense of good solid mechanics.  

I have a continuing problem that just won't seem to correct itself with play time.  

Getting lost, trapped in a loop, in Corpus missions.  I don't know why.  I stop, look around, and keep running in loops.  I am starting to wonder if there is something wrong with ME.  Other players don't seem to have a problem, I start to follow one, and in the blink of an eye they are gone.  While I run around aimlessly trying to get out.  This only seems to be a problem for me in Corpus missions.

Either I am doing something wrong, missing an essential bang head on the table because I am stupid, or something.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

look around  if you see some blue steel crates, on top of them there is a vent other times there is a passage that goes down the map as well.

Don't feel bad. Been playing for a while, and I STILL manage to get lost on some Corpus tile sets.

The only thing I can suggest is to keep running those particular missions until you begin to get a feel of the layout.

the mini map is your friend.

Yeah, what they said. Pay attention to your minimap and objective markers too. It seems obvious, but you'd easily get lost if you don't use them all the time, until you've memorised every exit point of every room.
