How did i get platinum as f2p?

I finished once awake then I started doing the kubrow egg quest then I started grinding for the kubrow egg but I gave up and went to the market and brought one. It cost 10 plat but how did I get the plats??

You start with 50p that you can spend only on items offered by the in-game marketplace.

To obtain more, without using your own money, you basically have to trade items and mods to other players in exchange for plat.

What the above have stated. Basically the platinum you start with has to be used to buy items from the shop. Beyond that, you can farm items called "fissures" to have the chance to get prime blueprints or parts that you can trade to other players for platinum.

You can either buy more Platinum by using real money.. or you can trade in game items with other players for their Platinum.
