Running relics just as easy in public than solo?

So i wanna know, will running relics solo spawn better chances for those radiant relics to drop the rare or uncommon parts than it is on public? i know in public you cn=an choose others that seem better than your own, however, in endless relic run, wouldn't it spawen the same chance?

Nope, only way to increase your chances beyond upgrading your relic is by opening as many as you can, being in a group inherently allows you to open more of them, faster than you would solo.

look at it this way.

you have 4 radiant relics. in order for you to open 4 relics solo for a change to get rare parts, you have to run 4 missions, or 4 rounds of endless.

you join a radshare where 4 people are running the same radiant relics. you have 4 chances from each mission or round of endless to get a rare from the radiant.

based on these scenarios, which one is going to increase your chances? The other way to look at it, is iirc, each radiant relic has 1/6 chance to get a rare, 2/6 chance to get an uncommon and 3/6 chance to get a common. if you have 4 people running radiant relics, you now have 4 people, each with a 1/6 (16.67%) chance of getting a rare. thats alot better than you running each mission and only have 1 chance of 16.67% to get a rare.

 

The other way to look at it, is if you have 4 people running the same radiant relic, what happens if all 4 or even 2/4 people get a rare item. You can only select 1 relic. This means that all additional rare items have now gone to waste. You have either lost ducats, platinum or working towards a second copy, should that be your intention (or a requirement if it is an AK weapon). In this case, its best to get in a group (if you have time ofcourse) and cycle through each person using 1 radiant relic per mission. Yes you still have a possibility of getting 2x rare in the same mission, however the chances of that happening are much much lower than if you have 2, 3 or 4 people each running a radiant relic.

 

All in all, you need to determine what is worth it to you. Do you have time to run alot of missions or have many radiant relics to run? Run solo if you want. Do you only have a couple radiant relics and want the best chances to get the item in as few runs as possible? Join a radshare
