Question about Lesion

OK, so Wiki is bit confusing about this.

"Upon inflicting a Status Effect on its target, the Lesion gains bonuses to its Attack Speed and guaranteed  Toxin procs"

"Additional  Toxin damage added will combine with any single elements"

"On dealing Status Effects on an enemy, the Lesion has a unique feature whereby it gains 15% additional attack speed for 6 seconds, as well as 100%  Toxin damage"

 

Does the proc also combine with other elements or is the quaranteed proc always Toxin?

Proc additional toxin, regardless of combination. Thats why it's so strong with Condition Overload.

It does combine with other elements. Say, if you only have ice on your lesion, you will do viral damage and procs with that bonus.

So guaranteed proc of my choice+very high overall status chance. This thing is insane... Need to start building.

Can't confirm which one of you is right, but even if it's not additional Toxin it's still extremely strong with CO.

It's one of the weapons that are so freaking annoying to build. Just one more reason it would be nice to have information when an MR foddery weapon is required to build another one.

I've been trying to work this out but there are so many possible mod combos.

Should I go pure status with Condition Overload? Something like this:

I've used a bloodrush/maiming combo before i got my hands on Condition Overload. If you wonder why 2 attack speed mods, it's because more speed which means more and faster slash/gas procs which means more DPS.
