NebbyOtt
For infested survivals, why not shoot a sack to begin or something? something that would actually make sense for an infested survival

Pavelord
the whole reason of survivals is to distract the enemy while another team does some salvaging, the alarm function is only to let the enemy know you are there, to lure them out, and since we know that ships can be infested like Jordas, it has the same use . I know that they're integrated with the grineer systems, but the alarms shouldn't be what make the infested go nuts imo
YUNoJump
Well the infested have a sort of hive mind, if they hear an alarm go off and a few units notice the Tenno attacking, then the rest of the horde is going to converge on that location. Heck, even just the sound of gunfire and roaring would be a pretty good indicator of a threat. They certainly wouldn't have the common sense to assign guards for the rest of the area while sending a specific squad or group to dispatch the threat, but apparently nobody at all in the system has that common sense.
