Clan Emblem Concerns

Hello, I am currently doing my best with what I have available to me but I have yet to find an actual 'help desk' from DE on their policies.

I have found out certain details but they are all sort of mired in half-checks and weak measures.

For instance, one walkthrough (if you want to call it that) cautions against using anything brighter than R200.G200.B200 but there is not a note of minimum brightness i.e. how dark is too dark? R015.G015.B015?

Also, image transparency. How many 'pieces' can the image be composed of? Do seperated components of an image create bloom on its lonesome? Is a transparent image optimal or a solid one?

I would like access to the stock Clan emblem (Lotus symbol) if possible to get an idea of what actually might work in the game engine and what will not. I am actually a bit frustrated that DE has not produced a simple FAQ for their Clan Emblem policies.

What gets rejected? What stays? What qualifies as 'inappropriate' aside from the obvious, being adult themed.

I saw a marijuana leaf clan emblem the other day, so if that passes would, say, a firearm pass or fail?

There seems to be no recourse and being that they do not blatently state what will be rejected by giving simple examples it smacks of fraudulent practice, as DE does not tell you what is wrong with the image until after it is submitted for review.

Is there any page anywhere that has a clear cut list of what is acceptable and what is not?

I would like some answers other than the "You don't have to use a clan emblem at all harhar". Resources would be a nice tool to have.

When it comes to coloration on the emblem its not very straight forward. due to the game rendering it like a light source it fucks with it hard core!

Yes individual pieces on the icon can cause extra bloom, if the color is above 170ish expect excuse bloom and stay above 50 or it can start to look washed out. And not everyone is going to have Insane color accuracy so get it how you like it but don't worry about other people.

As for the icon, as long as its not copyrighted and is not something obviously offensive. If you want, the terms of use lists it clear.
