NalkorRN
You only live once has actually been warped in it's meaning by the younger generation. They scream it out before doing something insanely stupid and attempt to justify it by saying they want to have fun in life. You only live once, or the Carpe Diem, whatever, is the exact opposite. Whenever someone says you only live once (or used to, with the proper meaning) they were telling you to be cautious and to not throw your life away in such a senseless manner. Grodgen
Well, it WAS to discuss the possibility of an added difficulty to nightmare mode where you only have one life meaning you cannot use revives, increasing the difficulty exponentially as you struggle with Vampire mode or just lack of health. Apparently now it's about the acronym. Rule 25: Relation to the original topic decreases with every single post.

They also literally said "You only live once." rather than "YOLO!" which adds to the already inane usage of acronyms to say the most basic things in text messages. It made sense on older texting cellphones where you'd get charged for texting, like where you used to get charged by the letter/word/message, but now it's utter laziness. Inferno_Hamster
That acronym is stupid and you should feel stupid for saying it. As for the actual question, it could be added in as a random "handicap".

The phrase "YOLO" also got popular with this generation only because it was used in a Drake song. lol

RunaCarbuncle
"Permadeath" would be a cool mechanic to use.
Relkin
In short, yes I would like this at least added to the possible conditions pool.
Rudest
Should Nightmare mode be Yolo HardcoreThere, that's better. In the live stream they seemed to like the idea is that if you're defeated, you can adjust your build and dive back in.So I would wager a no.However, a hardcore-something-or-other could be fun. W4RM4CHIN3
Casual players ruined nightmare mode. Its back to square one. Nice try DE, but you failed. This will never be nothing else then a casual game, you keep nerfing it.
NalkorRN
"Permadeath" would be a cool mechanic to use.You do know Permadeath means that once you die, the character is gone for good, right? It's from the old Roguelike genre of games where you could save your progress, but once you died, you rolled a new character to start from scratch.
