What should I use my Lens on?

I have a few lens(es?) but I dunno what weapons to use them on? For Naramon should I use a melee? Or should it always be explosive guns always? Or is it not that big of a deal?

Depends if you have a go to weapon in your arsenal.

For example, I like to change my Primary and melee a lot but tend to have Akstiletto Prime as back up so I use lens on that.

Many of the high level killing melee weapons are a good choice as well. (Atterax, Lesion, Galatine)

Maybe Nidus and Saryn if you like using them... it's really up to you. There's no single best choice.

On a DPS frame, if you already got one on it, your most used trash mob-mass killer weapons. (Ignis, Arca Plasmor etc. can be used to farm focus pretty fast and Plasmore remains useful at relatively high levels compared to Ignis)

I tend to go with warframes that can reliably kill things with powers, since warframe kills grant 100% affinity to the frame (and thus the lens), as opposed to weapons which are always 50/50 at best. Your mileage may vary depending on what frames and weapons you prefer; the poster above has the right idea in putting them on things you know you'll use a lot, as a general rule.
