One major flaw with the design of POE and what should come next.

First of all, as a long time vet, I really loved the change of fresh air with this update. Made me play the game alot more and with more passion.  The problem I mentioned in the title is not exactly about gameplay but rather design.

The appeal of warframe for me from the get go was its unique setting and design. Shortly put, Ninja's in space. 

The Plains concept is good in itself, but it doesn't feel exactly like a part of WarframeVerse. 

I'd much rather prefer a space oriented open world. I'm guessing the DEV's will continue the trend of big open world areas with the upcoming updates(which I believe they should) and I hope the next one will feel more Warframe-like. Maybe a giant spaceship, or station on an astroid or something along those lines.

Well, DE did say that the Plains of Eidolon will not be the only "open-world map" coming. They have plans on other places, but no further information regarding it.

 

Maybe we could have a real open space. Kind of like the plains, but you travel ONLY with your Archwing.
