Why are my fps so low now? (haven't played in several months)

The last time I played this game with any regularity was the event with The Perrin Sequence event against Nef Anyo.  I played all the time until shortly after this event and regularly had about 60 fps.  Now when I try to play i'm constantly between 15-20 fps.  Nothing on my system has changed since then, same internet speed (if anything it should be faster now if I remember correctly), same everything near as I can recall.  I tried updating my video drivers and that didn't do anything.  Tried turning off a few things in display in-game and that didn't help.  What gives?  Did they come out with so many updates that now my computer can't handle the game anymore?

Have you updated your drivers?

Also, you might want to turn off a few things. They made several graphical improvements, so you might want to try turning some off. Or, you could try optimizing the game. That might help a lot too.
