Seronical
Alright so, when I'm playing Warframe I'm getting around 150-350fps. After over an hour of playing the game, the RAM usage is starting to accelerate, up to 9000MB, whilst that is happening my fps drops to below 60, hitting the 40's and sadly the 30's. This is not a personal problem as i don't get this on other games such as LoL. I have to restart Warframe to get my high FPS back, can anyone help me with what's going on? PrOF_k
Alright, post some additional details for the devs: -Video card and driver version, is the installed driver the latest one? -Processor model -OS -Game settings (resolution, preset, Nvidia PhysX...) -Have you verified and optimised the cache? -Has it always happened or only after X update? Also use the game's Stress test and write down after how much time the ram is substantially increased If the leak persists a mod will probably ask you to upload a log file to the Zendesk (support page)
Seronical
My video card is up to date. My processor is i7-7700k, OS is Windows 10 My game settings is maxed, my resolution is 1920x1080 Verified and optimised it, sadly hasn't fixed the issue. It's happened since I started playing warframe about a week ago.
Seronical
Stress tests 30 minutes to an hour, I don't want to wait here sitting that long.
Seronical
Now my game just randomly crashed, what's up with Warframe..
Salenstormwing
Have you tried locking your game's Vsync to ON? Unless you have a 144mhz monitor, you're not going to see those additional frames. It might just be rendering too fast. Also, is it crashing in any specific location (like Liset Orbiter/Relay/Cetus or just any place)?
Seronical
I haven't tried V-Sync yet, but I'll try. It just crashed 46 minutes ago, I was doing a mission, it completely froze on me, coudnt do anything but I everytime I shot I could still hear the gun sound, which was wierd, first time it's froze. You think v-sync will drop the whole going to 30fps and 40's?
Seronical
Update: Screen just froze again, this is really off putting with this game when I'm trying to enjoy it.
Seronical
Update: Screen just froze again can I get any help, putting me off this game about to be done with it..
PrOF_k
Yeah that is a problem that has been reported. Idk just retry verifying the cache without optimisation
Seronical
Just did, and I went into a mission and it froze again. I'm just almost done with the troubles I've had with this game. Sent email to Warframe, all I got was a copy and paste auto response, I responded saying that I didn't need to show them what they auto sent me but no response. PrOF_k
Last try: change these settings In the Launcher disable both DirectX 10 and 11, it will have to download some stuff Disable PhysX and (maybe) High shader detail Set Texture memory to medium Set dynamic resolution to User > 100 If it still crashes I surrender
Seronical
The crashed seem to have stopped. But the FPS dropping below 50 when I have a GTX 1080 and a i7-7700k is not acceptable and unplayable
PrOF_k
Woo Just to clarify did you also send the EE.log file to the Zendesk or just a simple text message? Also don't reply directly to e-mails, they almost surely don't reach the devs. To quote directly the devs:
