Wasn't Even Downed, Yet I Died!

You wont believe this, I swear the games glitched, cos when I was playing, I died, I wasnt even downed once in that level! I swear to god that if this glitch is not fixed, I'm taking this to court!

did you get killed by the Stalker? the Stalker is the only thing i know in this game that really kills you directly without downing you.

I one time got the tar beat out of me on a high level infested mission. At one point when both my health and shields showed zero, I didn't die, or even go down. I had no energy, but I could still run and shoot. After about 10 seconds I went down and then slid across the map to the point I should of went down. No chance to revive or anything. Insta-death. Pretty certain it was due to lag.

When playing solo, you won't be able to get revived due to the lack of teammates who could do so?

There are some cases when you'll die without going into the downed state:

-You are playing solo

-Everyone else is in the downed state

-The stalker kills you

-Some boss attack if you have low enough health

Beyond that lag is the only other cause of dieing without going into the downed state first.

Lag.  If you're running around with not an enemy in sight, and you die randomly....that's lag.  Happened to me when I joined a game and didn't realize how bad the latency was.  I was just moving along....and BAM dropped dead.
