Soma Prime's Metal Quality: A Plea for my Favorite Primary.

Soma Prime's model remains neglected, and even adding a handful of reflections to the metal surface doesn't change the underlying problem: the metal doesn't look like other primes; nor does it look, for that matter, like metal and instead of a plastic (Plastid?) Orokin toy. Adding insult to injury is the fact that Braton, Boltor, Boar, and Burston Prime received the updated metal despite being much older Prime-mary (sorry for that) weapons. See the comparisons below.

Combine this with Soma Prime being one of the previous weapons in the Twitch drops, and despite being vaulted my favorite assault rifle is now everywhere. If Soma Prime has been made this ubiquitous through the cross-promotions, can we please get the metal updated? The default Soma has nicer metal than the prime; and though I love it, my favorite weapon looks and feels like an over-complicated Nerf gun that an Orokin kid spray-painted gold while snickering and hiding under a table from Ballas. _{Not that I wouldn't be freaked out by a nine-foot-tall blue man with a REALLY long right arm. Props to Keith Thompson and the modelers, he's horrifying.}

Soma P's body looks like it has an [almost] brushed aluminum surface, I like the effect, looks good when I paint it in purple Dex colors.

However, I can understand wanting consistency.

I'm still annoyed that Vandal weapons look like they're made of aluminum foil lol
