Whenever Geordie got within a certain range of the creature, it would stop and look around wildly, seeming distressed. This would, in turn, distress the guards, who would simultaneously back off and try to pull the creature onwards.

As it looked around, Geordie could see long, wicked looking claws extending from each of the creatures fingers, excluding the thumbs.

After the second time this happened, Geordie kept his distance. He didn't want to know why the thing could sense him, and the idea of it using those nasty-looking claws on him made him shiver. He paced himself to stay further away from the creature, hoping not to cause a scene because of his curiosity.

"I am," the guard said, "Step in, and we'll be off. The overseer will have to stay behind. She can wait here for you to return. The Commandant is a terse man, he won't keep you long."

"What if I told you that I've been given orders to bring her in?" Cyrus kept his voice low. "Apparently she might be involved in the smuggling of... Tenno... into the city. If we take her with us, she'll arrive in the district in chains, and she'll be done." Cyrus raised his hands. "I don't know if she's guilty or innocent, I'm just following orders. Once she's been captured, I'll let whatever your justice system deems as fit happen."

"Stay on topic Svytoj, or other means of acquiring answers will be taken." Sarah said, glancing over to the tank. Two of the staff were already removing the individual and placing them on a hospital bed (the kind with wheels you see in emergency rooms). As they wheeled the figure out of the room, Svytoj could briefly see a mess of red hair.

Sarah shook her head and turned back to Svytoj.

"Now, tell me, what exactly are you?" she asked.

Svytoj was floored; Did Sarah honestly think there was a relation between him and this Operandum? As far as he knew, he had never met a cephalon like this.
That symbol though: why did that seem so familiar?
He took a breath, and returned his gaze to Sarah again.
"As I am... I'm an orokin era proxy." He said as calmly and as bluntly as he could. "Somewhere between a moa and a warframe." He continued, waiting for Sarah to respond.

Acambria did a brief survey of the area. When he felt the coast was clear, he slowly hoisted himself from the water. He detached from his wings, and flung the apparatus back into the water as he tried to get a grasp on where he was at.
not to mention keeping an eye out for Operandum: the last thing he wanted was to be caught around that thing.

((Still wandering))

Pixelated orange and green sparks fluttered around a street lamp. Several lamps, actually. Before anyone could get a fix on it, one cluster would disappear, only for another to surface somewhere else.

"I'd say that you're closer to a roller, but that's beside the point." Sarah said, the corners of her mouth tugging upwards briefly.

"Now, would you care to go into more detail? How were you made, why were you made, etc." Sarah said

Svytoj gave a low breath before continuing.
“Why: ... at the mid point of the old war, I wasn’t ‘Svytoj’. My name was Bojaun Acambria.” He said with a low tone. “Like many of the time, I was a so-called ‘pit-dog’. Though, more self appointed than anything else. During my career, I got bored of the soft targets and got the bright idea to hunt Dax. One of them let slip some of the orokins’ secrets of continuity.” Svytoj shifted in his seat.
“So, I hijacked a couple cascade bombs, stormed one of their towers, and told them I wanted an ‘upgrade’; if they didn’t comply, I’d detonate the cascades and scuttle the tower, effectively halting their continuity.” He chuckled before continuing. “Biggest bluff of my life. But it seemed to scare them enough for them to give me some consideration.”  He paused.
“How: I don’t quite know. I had to keep an eye on Orokin while the rest made my new body, so I wasn’t there for it’s construction. The only time I saw the lab was when I was escorted there for continuity. One drink later, and I was-“ He pause, looking over himself. “-this.”

(not so much the 'Hr' (though there is that) but that from a context perspective it doesn't connect with the beginning. you could take that short bit out and it wouldn't impact the flow of the post at all. I think it needed something like 'From his point of view, he didn't have much of a choice at the moment though.' or 'Currently he didn't etc.)

(gotta explain *how come* he didn't have much choice at the moment)

(for ('Indeed, he would. This mission would be nearly impossible without backup', it reads  like the point of view jumps from Kamos straight to the player narrating him. Again, does *he* know that it's nearly impossible without backup? is he thinking this in his mind, or something else?)

"Charm, sneak, steal a way into a console, see what's available. Or you could tail guards to where they switch off, see who they report to, where they keep stockpiles, how they work their equipment. Seriously, it's like you've never done any sort of spying before." Celeste snarkily replies, amused by the space ninjas apparently lack of ability to *ninja*.

Polishing off the last of her meal, Celeste crumples the empty pouch and shoves it into her mouth, chewing the quickly disappearing wrapping with gusto as she begins heading for the doorway.

"Well, we're not gonna find answers to the fancy suit laundering here, time to work off the breakfast." she muses, turning the corner and begins to head out of the abandoned complex and out to the rainy (is it still rainy?) day outside.

"Hold on, I'm not finished yet!" Jane shouts after Celeste. In a hurry Jane guzzles down the rest of her own ration, nearly choking in the process as she reaches for the kettle and washes her stuffed mouth with warm water. Giving her chest a few thuds with her arm to help get the food down the teen races after her co-worker, metal backpack swinging behind her.

Kamos and Atela looked at each other for a moment, shrugged, and stood up to follow the other two. They both felt slightly offended by Celeste's comment, but still followed. The two of them ran outside to follow Jane and Celeste, breaking into a sprint once they were outside.

I hope she isn't always like this... Atela thought to herself. Hopefully, Celeste was a bit more cautious when the situation called for it. Running around in the open a city with a security force capable of taking down Tenno was a poor idea at best.

Kamos was thinking the same thing, but to a lesser degree. On one hand, caution would be a good idea. On the other hand, they had a job to do, and completing it quickly was preferred. The more time they wasted, more and more people would be getting their hands on Warframes. That was defintely not optimal.

((So where exactly are you guys heading to?))

Oh no... Geordie slowed to a stop and ducked into an alley to process what he had just realized. The thing was headed for the refugee district - where evidence of tenno had been found. That thing looked desperate for tenno blood, to say the least. Note to self....stay away from that district for now....

She blinked.

"Stay there, I've got to confirm something," she said, hurriedly exiting the room. The guards remained behind, continuing to watch Svytoj with extreme suspicion.

Not expecting the alarm, Clogori's reflexes kicked in. He leaped out of bed, swinging his dagger, hastily looking for intruders. Once he figured out what the noise was, and that the room was empty, he dropped the dagger. He sat on his bed for a moment to calm down, before getting dressed for the day.

They could have made it less... jarring. What kind of hotel has a built-in alarm clock? How is this place worth 12,000 credits?

(Might have been missed in the post-timeskip posts)

Celeste and Jane swing themselves up and over sills and eavesdrops jutting around the now abandoned apartment complex and onto the rooftops above. Leaping from platform to platform, the duo quickly eat up the distance before sliding down to a concealed stance behind one of the larger pieces of ventilation as last night's checkpoint comes into distance. In their crouched stances, the two as quietly as possible sneak up to the roof's edge to try and grab a survey of the stationed road.

Clogori made his way back to the lobby, briefcase in hand. He surveyed the area, looking for anything especially out of the ordinary. He knew he needed to get breakfast, but that could wait. If all went well, he'd be able to make contact with someone connected to the black market today.

Assuming this black market is competent, they'll already know I have a ship full of Warframe parts. If they plan on making a deal of some sort, ideally, they'll contact me soon.

A handful of guards arrived, with a strange figure in tow. The appeared to be reinforcing the checkpoint, though nobody seemed particularly happy about it. Everyone seemed to be incredibly tense around the figure the two guards had brought it. It wore a heavy black suit of grineer origin that somewhat resembled an ancient deep-sea diving suit. Something within the suit seemed to slosh around as the figure moved, and there was a viscous black liquid occasionally dripping off of the figure's massive claws. As the guards talked, the figure never joined in, remaining several feet away from the guards, staring off elsewhere. It seemed easily distracted, and only a literal leash kept it from wandering off.
