Clogori made his way back to the lobby, briefcase in hand. He surveyed the area, looking for anything especially out of the ordinary. He knew he needed to get breakfast, but that could wait. If all went well, he'd be able to make contact with someone connected to the black market today.

Assuming this black market is competent, they'll already know I have a ship full of Warframe parts. If they plan on making a deal of some sort, ideally, they'll contact me soon.

There was a different person behind the desk in the lobby, but other than that everything seemed the same as last night. Only a handful of people were lingering about in the lobby, and most seemed to keep to themselves. Only one man wearing a rather expensive suit took notice of Clorogi, giving him an apologetic smile.

"New?" he asked, "The alarms are a real pain. Just another way the city tries to drive us out as quickly as possible."

Oh no... Geordie slowed to a stop and ducked into an alley to process what he had just realized. The thing was headed for the refugee district - where evidence of tenno had been found. That thing looked desperate for tenno blood, to say the least. Note to self....stay away from that district for now....

"No worries," Ebony called back, "You got a comm system on that helmet? I can send you my details."

On the boat, the guard looked at Cryus.

"You ready to go?" he asked.

"Aye, that I do," Cyrus said as he patted the helmet in his arms. With one last thumbs up to Ebony, he stepped back into the boat and nodded to the guard. He leaned against the side of the boat as it would start to move, lost in thought about his assignment on the overseer as he started off into the distant horizon of the rain covered planet.

Acambria did a brief survey of the area. When he felt the coast was clear, he slowly hoisted himself from the water. He detached from his wings, and flung the apparatus back into the water as he tried to get a grasp on where he was at.
not to mention keeping an eye out for Operandum: the last thing he wanted was to be caught around that thing.

((Acambria as still screwing around were we last left him. Unless there was a post i missed.))

Pixelated orange and green sparks fluttered around a street lamp. Several lamps, actually. Before anyone could get a fix on it, one cluster would disappear, only for another to surface somewhere else.

"Yes, just arrived yesterday." Clogori answered. "Not a fan of the weather, I'll say that."

He's polite, at the very least. That's good, I suppose. I might be able to get some information out of him, if I'm careful.

The armored truck immediately caught Geordie's attention. Drawing his cloak closer around him against the rain, he began to trail the truck from afar. I really, REALLY hope this truck isn't headed for the refugee district...

The boat ride only lasted for a short while, the craft docking at a nearby spire of rock less than twenty minutes away from the city. This was the military district, the location that the cities military police operated out of. The location was a literal fortress, with gun emplacements and towers wherever Cyrus looked. There ware no shoreline, simply a near-vertical pillar of rock jutting out of the water. The only way up was via a large elevator on the side of the landmass. It was large enough to bring up equipment and supplies, but lacked any ceiling or walls, meaning that anybody attempting to use it to storm the fortress would be exposed to withering gunfire on their way up to the top.

The small craft pulled alongside the elevator, and the guard motioned for Cyrus to step off.

"Here we are sir," the guard said, "I'll be waiting here to take you back when you're done."

Seeing military locations on Uranus wasn't really something new for Cyrus. Grineer cloning facilities taking advantage of the neverending ocean as part of their defense was something commonplace. Even so, Cyrus couldn't help but marvel at the security of the fortress.

He nodded to the guard before stepping onto the platform. "Goooooing up," he joked.

A handful of guards arrived, with a strange figure in tow. The appeared to be reinforcing the checkpoint, though nobody seemed particularly happy about it. Everyone seemed to be incredibly tense around the figure the two guards had brought it. It wore a heavy black suit of grineer origin that somewhat resembled an ancient deep-sea diving suit. Something within the suit seemed to slosh around as the figure moved, and there was a viscous black liquid occasionally dripping off of the figure's massive claws. As the guards talked, the figure never joined in, remaining several feet away from the guards, staring off elsewhere. It seemed easily distracted, and only a literal leash kept it from wandering off.

Hunkering down on their impromptu perch, Celeste leans into the rooftop, stretching herself out in an attempt to listen and 'feel' for any possible conversations worth homing on. To her side, Jane edges her eyes over the edge, trying to get a handle on any possible patrol or guard changes to pursue.

Acambria was now on the opposite side of the island, and numerous grineer craft were landed here. A grim procession of what looked like refugees were being loaded into the large transports. Whenever a vessel was filled, the craft would take off with its cargo, transporting it to somewhere offworld.

Pixelated orange and green sparks fluttered around a street lamp. Several lamps, actually. Before anyone could get a fix on it, one cluster would disappear, only for another to surface somewhere else.

This attracted a large degree of curiosity and confusion, but ultimately only that.

"Yes, just arrived yesterday." Clogori answered. "Not a fan of the weather, I'll say that."

He's polite, at the very least. That's good, I suppose. I might be able to get some information out of him, if I'm careful.

Ivan laughed.

"You'll only grow to hate it more, I'm afraid. You'd think when the orokin were terraforming they'd address the issue with the constant raining."

He looked Clorogi up and down.

"So, what brings you here anyway?" he said casually.

The armored truck immediately caught Geordie's attention. Drawing his cloak closer around him against the rain, he began to trail the truck from afar. I really, REALLY hope this truck isn't headed for the refugee district...

Quite the opposite, in fact, the vehicle was moving decisively away from the refugee district, instead heading deeper into the heart of the main district. However, keeping up with the vehicle was difficult due it, well, being a motorized vehicle.

Aside from the new reinforcements to the checkpoint, there were regular patrols running along the wall to prevent people from jumping. The staff at the guard checkpoint was changed every two hours, but the current guards were only relieved once the new group had arrived. The armored figure remained on-site regardless of shift changes.

Geordie swore internally. He was on the faster side for someone his size, but he feared that anything more than a fast walk would draw too much attention to himself. Reminded of last night's excursion, he looked around for a taxi, before stopping himself. There's no way I can get away with asking someone to follow that truck. With a sigh, Geordie started to search for alleys and shortcuts to wherever the truck might be going.

Several bursts of static clicked over Sarah's COMs: It looked like Chegar was trying to get a hold of her, urgently.

Acambria Carefully passed by the Grineer ships. He wasn't on the worst terms with them, But... well, you never know when one of the clones would go off script.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw some of the flashing pixels in fluttering around the street lamps.
he sighed.
"Just ignore them, Bojaun... No good will come from that cracked cephalon..."
He kept walking passed the Grineer vessels.

"Business trip." Clogori said. "Selling some of my surplus. "Still looking for buyers, though." He did his best to sound friendly, not exactly used to doing so. He studied Ivan, looking for any telltale signs of ulterior motives. Couldn't be too careful, after all.

Atela surveyes the area closely, looking for any breaches in the defenses, even small ones. Anything she could potentially exploit. Kamos kept a close eye on the new arrival, trying to figure out how much of a threat he posed to the group.

Svytoj was still unconscious on the table.

"OW! What do you need, Chegar? I'm in the middle of something." Sarah said, wincing at the static. Why was Chegar contacting her? Surely J'Taav or someone else aboard the galleon would've been a better option?

Geordie swore internally. He was on the faster side for someone his size, but he feared that anything more than a fast walk would draw too much attention to himself. Reminded of last night's excursion, he looked around for a taxi, before stopping himself. There's no way I can get away with asking someone to follow that truck. With a sigh, Geordie started to search for alleys and shortcuts to wherever the truck might be going.

Through a haphazard sprint through a winding series of back alleys and side-routes, Geordie barely managed to keep up with the truck. The efforts required to maintain his distance to the truck has left him soaked in rain, sweat, and mud. However, his efforts have paid off - he is present to see the truck drive into a large warehouse on the opposite side of town. Though on the outside it seemed unremarkable - a brief glimpse of the inside before the doors closed revealed armed guards patrolling.
