Restartmind111 Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 (edited) I was gathering some minerals in Solo mode and after mining what i believe was COPRUN, the cutter UI kept showing the image of said resource without detecting other minerals around and to remove the coprun image i had to press "F" to switch to my weapon and then select the cutter again. Also, even if i get close to a red/blue vein, the cutter won't show the white outline to begin the mining process. https://imgur.com/WCrhnZO https://imgur.com/ufMCKpW https://imgur.com/oyTHrix A side note here, i've been having my reticle removed and made shooting and fishing a bit harder but i guess this is a separate bug. Now I can't mine at all, even after returning to cetus and going back onto the plains; I have no outline and the mining tool "radar" is not working. Yes i just returned to cetus then back to the plains and i still can't mine. The cutter is not working at all. And when i switch to the spear the reticle is gone. Falcon995 Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 (edited) Also having this issue, Mining tool Advanced Nosam Cutter Ore noted to cause the issue Ferros with 3+ gems temp fix is to return to your orbiter(after entering cetus to keep your loot) probably should avoid Red ore, if you do need ore from red ore nodes, avoid getting above 2 gems and you should be fine till they work out a fix Edited February 10, 2018 by Falcon995 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
