Possible modification to Ember Change

Hello,

I apologize if this has been mentioned before. Many are nervous about the changes to Ember's WOF change, forcing her to keep closer contact with enemies while not giving her the survivability to endure thus rendering her useless. As DE has explained, she is one of the original casters, which i think means dps specialist from rang but still squishy. So with that in mind, here is what i think could be fun :)

Allow the FireBlast Aura (the one that enhances all damage fired through) to travel with the tenno. That would allow her to be more viable at higher levels while encouraging use of the awesome mobility mechanics that make this game so fun! Also, there could be fun strategy implementations in group play of covering squad mates with your aura to boost their damage as well. This would empower ember's kiting ability as well as preserve her ranged dps feel. Also, it would force the player to be actively engaged in their ranged dps and not the "set 4 and forget" run through of the levels, like DE was hoping to discourage in the first place. 

I am a noob and love this game! In my less informed opinion, DE has been doing amazing things and I'm so grateful for this game. Whatever happens with ember, I'm still gonna keep playing. Hopefully this recommendation doesn't have unintended effects that i didnt think about. If it does, sorry for wasting your time.

I thought you just gave up on all Ember things and this was just the breaking point.

So GodPadre, the thing is, this is basically what WoF used to be. It was a big circle of streaking flames that orbited around Ember, burning everything.  So it won't really happen, as that'd be going back to a previous design they wanted to move away frmo.

Ahh. I figured because it was augmenting bullet damage then LOS would need to be maintained and active engagement with the target would still be required. I’m guessing this is was DE was trying to do? This also allows ember to still have a more distant effective range since she’s so squishy.
