Warframe Updates and Play Styles

@[DE]ScottPThe new Warframe updates have been received with mixed reviews. So far I like the direction they are going. I agree it is time to retire the press four fire and forget play style. It trivialises the game a great deal and has been known to disrupt game play for others.

The recent nerf to Ember is one such fire and forget play style. However I would agree that her recent nerf has reduced her into obscurity again and I would like to propose a skill change to her World on Fire to be brought up to par with the other nuker class warframes.

Nuclear Apocolyse:

The numerical datails for its damage, duration, etc I would leave up to DE, however as far as base energy cost, I would propose 75 Energy to start, and modifiable.

The skill would is based on 3 stages, starting off with a Radial Blind Flash, then a Grineer Arsonists Style attack, followed by a Banshee Style Sonic Boom knock down for anything left standing. Let if have a mag style recast-ability as on paper it is a rather potent attack.

Players want to be efficient with the grind. There is a lot of it, and DE you did say you were looking to reduce it. Our Nuker class frames help reduce that grind a great deal, they also require a specialised group of warframes to do it. EV, Buff and other. However it is promoting the synergistic team work that Warframe is all about. So please leave that play style alone. There is no need to make farming for affinity/focus, or material any more difficult, laborious and or boring than it already is.

Now that Banshee has had her "Nerf" I noticed that she now behaves pretty much like an old beloved warframe of mine, Excalibur and his Radial Javelin Skill.  Would you consider removing the LOS restriction on Excalibur please? He has wallowed in the shadows of DPS nukers long enough, pending Umbra of course.

As for Ivara, there is a strong backlash to her recent nerf. She is a niche farming frame used for very specific targets for very specific parts. This nerf essentially quadruples the time it takes for people to farm for the parts they are looking for. It's great you want to spread the wealth with sentient cores on locals other than PoE, but do not punish the grind for other things in the process. To that end, if you do not want cores to be farmed by Ivara teams, then why not make them exempt to her Prowl instead of nerfyng her prowl into the ground?

It was rather cheeky comparing her farming style to that of Nekros who relies on the dead to desecrate. He then has the added bonus of desecrating the multiple slashed up parts in the process. Taking Ivara on such a farm would be pointless, as lets face it, Warframe is a hack n slash game. Nothing lives long enough for an Ivara to be of any use.

Otherwise, fantastic work. I know it is not easy and always appreciated.

Completely agree with the ivara part. Nobody in their right mind would bring her to a typical farm where you try to kill as much and as quick as possible.

Not sure about ember. Of course, she will see less use, but I still do 70%+ dmg when I use her. Again, I never relied heavily on WoF as the people complaining around here.
