(XBOX)Mr Sardini
I, like most I'm sure, try as hard as I can to maximize Eidolon hunts, but I find it difficult (or annoying) to join a session and find out if the Eidolon is even still alive and kicking, not to mention I'm pretty sure it has simply not spawned in some instances. I propose a need for an Eidolon detector of sorts. maybe a craftable item that simply adds a symbol to the planes' map and shows if the Eidolon is still alive, maybe like the monster tracker in Monster Hunter World. Additionally, and more visually impressive, maybe all the dead sentient bones can glow very faintly when the Eidolon is active, and they glow brighter as the Eidolon is closer, then the bones could be used for tracking. I think this could help a lot when either joining a session where the host isn't trying to fight the Eidolon, or when joining a session and the connection lags at that brief moment where the Eidolon's spawn point flashes. motorfirebox
On PC, Eidolon hunts (single and triple) have been added to the bounty list for Konzu, so you can always join a hunt that's just getting started. Dunno if that's been pushed to console yet, but if it has... use it!
LSG501
Got to agree I wouldn't mind a 'waypoint' for the eidolon on the bounties just in case you join a little late and miss the 'loading' of the eidolon or it's too far away to actually spot it easily.
