I can still use Astilla even if it is mastery locked at 10 when I'm mastery rank 8, is it supposed to be like this?

As said i can still use the astilla even if my mastery rank is too low (8) and i just wondered if this is something bannable, since i don't want to get banned anytime soon. I might be a bit to hasty with the whole ban shenanigans but my friends have been banned for less.

Yes, it was stated in the weapon update threads that if you already had a weapon in your inventory and its MR requirement was updated to be above your current MR, it would stay in your inventory and you could continue using it. You just won't be able to build a new one.

If you had the weapon before the mastery changes took place, you are not locked out of using that weapon.

If the weapon is already built and you can equip it and take it into missions then its fine.

The mastery rank changes to weapons only affect weapons that were built after the update that brought it.

Did you build the astilla before the weapon update? Or did you build it recently?

Either way, you didn't purposely perform an exploit, it's DE's mistake and they'll likely let you keep using the weapon as part of a grandfather clause.
