Pc freezes after pressing launch on launcher

After the Launcher starts and I click on "launch" the app will try to open but freeze my computer. It will sometimes work however it takes a few tries of restarting my computer. 

Here are the stats of my computer - 

processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 - cpu 2.5 ghz

GPU -         AMD radeo m9 m290x

Ram -         16gb

Hi Andrewavw1, 

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble running Warframe. It sounds like there might be something going wrong on your system's end when trying to launch the game. Can you check to make sure that you are running with the latest AMD video drivers? Also, you might also want to try clicking "verify" on the Warframe launcher options before running the game, which can be found by clicking on the little cogwheel located at the top-right of your launcher.
