Limbo Idea

I deleted some stuff on this thread, because I was ashamed of my idea and it was bad too. I left it open for people that want to read it.

Rift walk will still act as normal.

Enemies that are in Limbo's other dimensional plane could be a bit darker, lighter, higher or lower contrast or Limbo's energy color. So we can see if they're in the rift or not.

(1) Banished Blast - (Instead of a 'wave') Limbo charges his wave of rift energy to be thrown at spot. After hitting something it will explode. Enemies hit will get damaged and will be sent temporary stunned in Rift Plane enemies will stay in the Rift temporary. The longer he charges, the more damage he does & the longer the enemies are stunned. Enemies killed by his Banished Blast will return some energy. Allies hit are also sent to the Rift Plane but can just escape by rolling.

(2) Cataclysm - Limbo creates a tiny stasis globe at a aimed spot. This is a tiny globe (where around 3 enemies can fit) has a small duration and can keep enemy frozen in place until it collapses. Bullets can be stacked in this globe to have 1000 shurikens stacked at a bombard or some other enemy. Only one Cataclysm can active and will collapse if another one is casted. If it was casted on a rift-bound enemy and it collapses on it, that enemy will return to the real world.

(3) Rift Surge - Will act like normal Rift Surge. If Rift-Bound enemies are getting out of the rift, they will be sent back to the Rift again if this ability is active.

- With 2 you can send projectiles to the rift if Rift Surge is active.

(4) Rift Globe - Limbo creates a shield around him (Like Frost's globe) for a certain duration. The inside isn't Limbo's dimensional plane.

- If bullets hit the outer layer of the globe , they will get transferred to Limbo's dimensional plane. Meaning it will do no dmg if it hits anyone inside the globe.

no all around except for making it easier to tell if an enemy is in the rift or not.

 

1. banish already stuns enemies

2. stasis and cataclysm(the one's in-game, not your idea) are great because they don't rely on each other to work

3. rift surge as it is now brings enemies back into the rift if they would leave it and just being in the rift gives limbo and friends energy

4. this is basically cataclysm without being in the rift, when the whole point of Limbo is the rift.

and lastly, Limbo is fun, but it's clear from your suggested changes that you don't understand how.

So his new 4 is basically a near-Infinite undestroyable bubble to protect the team mates instead of the current timer based undestroyable bubble, with the only difference being that it now runs on energy instead of timer and you don't even have to use stasis to make it good.

Also, What bad english?
