LeakingAmps
Collecting all the threads about this in one place, since I saw there were quite a few. Description of the problem: Since the recent update to particle physics, I've seem a massive (>60%) general drop in my framerate. No settings were changed initially, and lowering them did not help nearly as much as it should have (<10 FPS -> 20 FPS). Also, if anyone who would know happens by: Should I send support my log files about this? Would that be at all helpful? If anyone else has this issue, please post so below, along with your GPU, CPU, and RAM setup, in case hardware is involved! I am running on a Nvidia GTX 965m, Intel i7 6700 HQ Skylake with 16 GB DDR 3 RAM Other threads: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/958670-new-particle-update-there-is-extreme-loss-of-fps/ https://forums.warframe.com/topic/959765-fps-and-performance-dips-on-lower-end-computers-especially/ https://forums.warframe.com/topic/957941-shuttering-after-update-22200/ https://forums.warframe.com/topic/957809-warframe-has-random-stuttering-issues/ Might be more I missed - I erred on the side of surety. Gnohme
Game is nearly unplayable for me. Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M OS: x64 Win 10. Some environments are more guilty than others, someone in one of the threads suggested a connection to world geometry going from low poly to high and what I've seen supports this thought. Update: okay could be a different issue altogether, but apparently my problem mostly only happens on standard Earth tilesets.
