Lenz ammo effiency

I just always wonder why is it lenz only has 6-7 arrows while zar and other aoe weapons have 60-90. Like can the ammo  get a buff to like 30 or 15

Unlike zarr or other weapons, Lenz has built in ammo mutation. Therefore Lenz literally has infinite ammo as long as you pick up any ammo of any other weapons around you!

I believe Lenz also has bigger blast radius, has small detonation delay that leaves the shooter some time to dodge if he screws up. The 6 (7) arrows is the way to balance it.

It does but damn I wouldn’t mind it getting doubled or tripled

It's okay, the small ammo size is because if it had more, you could just camp and never move without consequence.

Now if your Lenz just isn't killing enemies fast enough to generate ammo that far into Survival, that's probably a sign that it's damage is falling off and it's time to start turning tail. The Lenz is already a top-tier weapon with near-infinite ammo, a buff to it's max ammo so it can go an additional two hours into survival is just unnecessary. Of course, if ammo economy is really troubling you, Carrier, Ammo Restores, and *shudder* Ammo Drum are a thing as well.

To be fair, at 2 hours, you should be worrying less about dealing direct damage and more about status procs.
