[Spoilers] Giving purpose to Helminth; Giving Umbra to Frames

So as it stands, the infested room currently serves little to no purpose other than removing the infested cyst from our Frames' necks. Let's fix that.

According to Excal Umbra's wiki page, the infestation is what gives him his anti-sentient fighting capabilities (denoted by the Tau Resist and Damage on the Sacrificial and Umbral mod sets he can use effectively) and since he canonically came right before the Primes, we can assume that he has as much or possibly even more Infestation in his system than Primes.

Coincidentally, Helminth is the Infestation that was cultivated in order to give birth to the original pilots of the Warframes and probably even the "surrogate body" within the Frames that we make in the Foundry.

 

So how would the system work?

Currently, the way the Infested room works is that you take a Frame with the mature cyst into the room and sit in the chair, which prompts Helminth to impale the cyst with a long claw, presumably destroying it. But what if it didn't destroy it? What if all it does is actually drive the the Infestation from the outside of the Frame and into the "flesh" within the shell?

Well, if we assume that 1) Excal Umbra's special polarities come from the increased Infestation within him, 2) Every Warframe already has an Infested-Human hybrid inside, and 3) the Infested room forces even more Infestation into the Frame, then we can add a system which gives the Infested room the ability to add an Umbra Polarity to any Frame, which follow all of the other rules involved when Polarizing an item.

In order to "Umbra-fy" a Frame, it must have a mature cyst for Helminth to inject into our Frames. For this system to feel like it's worth doing, Frames will need to be able to get more than 1 cyst to get more than 1 Umbra Polarity, and so the Infested room will no longer grant immunity to it upon "destruction." Instead, a sort of Vaccine has to be created by using an adolescent cyst (between 1-6 days old) in order to grant immunity. 

Along with all of that, within the Incubator Segment, a sort of holding cell will be added, where mature cysts can be removed and preserved for future use to either breed Chargers or "Umbra-fy" a frame.

Sentients>Infestation in the Warframe rock paper scissors system. Just saying.

The wiki page is stating that the infestation was used to create Warframes in general as Anti-Sentient weapons. Umbra does not draw his strength from the Infestation.

maybe you could unlock this as a form of upgrade from a future quest from the story

Well before i think of this idea i need this answered.

If he's just pushing it into the flesh within the shell then what will be the reason for Helminth saying "Why do you reject my beauty?"

well also Helminth is weak at the moment so something would have to strengthen it again.
