Fleuria
I accidentally took my mag into elite onslaught, and decided to play that out to see how it would go. I have my game matching set for 100 ping, because the game quickly becomes unplayable for me at high ping. I somehow got matched with an ev trin with average ~350 ping, but it's not like that part of the game is reliable. Anyways, about 3 or four stages in, we had lost our other two squadmates and... we hit infested. My mag is rather useless against infested, so I started using her 4 just to be doing something. Simaris started griping about me overusing that skill immediately (i had not used it on any previous waves, but I guess he hates people using their 4 skill or something). So I switched back to trying to use my 2, and he shut that off. So I went back to trying to use my 4 and he shut that off. This is the first time I encountered him disabling skills, but this is also the first time in ages I tried using mag in onslaught. But I have to ask: is this normal? Or is this something new? Is onslaught supposed to be a mostly weapons only deal? (I was using a hema and a pox and a lesion, I probably would have done better by switching to the pox...) Are we supposed to avoid using our 4 skill? Also: how should mag be played against infested? (I know, I know... I am asking stupid question - but what should I be doing instead?) Prof.549
Welcome to Elite Onslaught P.S.: Mag has no place in ESO. Edited July 8, 2018 by Prof.
Aeon94
Elite Onslaught has ability spam restriction and Mag is not that effective in ESO. Better to take Equinox , Saryn and Volt as nukers.
(PSN)OriginalEquinox
Spam all you want in regular onslaught but as the others mentioned you can't rely too heavily on your Warframe abilities in ESO or Simaris will drop the hammer on you for a minute or two, make sure you have a good weapon for times like that and you'll be fine. Fleuria
Interesting - and good to know. (And, yes, I usually use one of those nuke frames in ESO. This was an accidental experiment.) Edited July 8, 2018 by Fleuria
