AdunSaveMe
Because aiming the ability at a group of enemies only to collide with the first and either slide to the side or just stop is annoying as hell and makes no sense. This ability feels, looks and sounds like it's meant to take out enemies in a line. So why can't it? The only way that ever happens is if the enemies are in a line to the side of you. de pls. Rydian
I agree that being shunted off course or getting stopped in-place by the first target is annoying.
MichaelSD
While I agree, Slash Dash in such form would still not make Excalibur a usable warframe beyond 30+ levels of enemies.

I don't think that's really the concern here. It's more about usability, not scalability.

They brutally nerfed radial blind and dropped in some token improvements to his other abilities except slash dash (though radial javelin has needed that boost for a while - no more walls in the way!). he's not nearly as viable when compared to other frames at high levels now, without the reliability that stun used to have to add to his playstyle. he was paper thin, but you could lock up the enemies in a room to maintain control and avoid damage entirely. Now he's just paper thin. Shame too. he was my first and favourite.
MichaelSD
I don't think that's really the concern here. It's more about usability, not scalability. For movement it is usable enough. You will never get damage, which scales well enough for high level enemies, be it damage or number of enemies. At the end of the day it does not matter if the Slash Dash becomes obsolete against 15, 30 or level 60 enemies. It will eventually.

This is about the skill, in lots of common situations, hitting less enemies than it's designed to hit.

This is about it being less functional than it should be. Not having it blocked by enemy collision would undoubtedly make it more useful later on though. Its so annoying to get stuck on a enemy when you try to do a hastily escape. Slash Dash getting stuck on enemies makes the ability unreliable even as a mobility skill later in the game. (PSN)SentientSword234
Hmm i've been gone for a long while, but this troubling news, Slash dash was Cali's go to move, i mean radial javelin is good and all but it's not really what you would build him for. Slash dash was a good panic move, and fantastic for CC, they've essentially kneecapped the poor gut ;m;
Jinryusai
It should knock up enemies that don't die and cut through enemies that do die. Rhino Charge should knock enemies aside and make enemies explode again.

AdunSaveMe
INb4 slash dash + vortex combo ... *face palm* I've done that. You either just hit it and stop or fly off to the side and hit like 1 or 2 dudes in it.
(PSN)Zenurixx
And for rhino dash, it would awesome to make the targets go airborne in ragdoll
Koujjo
Agreed. Ran into this today. Tried to Surging Dash into a group of enemies and the first one stopped me like a brick wall. Really kills the effectiveness of the mod.
