  1. I think we need to face that DE are done with Ember. I've also given up on her. Other frames just do her job 10x better and until they remove the pointless duration, she's just not worth using.

I know, but I just  can bare the pain of seeing one of my favourite frames be left in such an awkward state.

  2. Based DE don't give none.

I mean think about it. The things that everyone uses are the things that get nerfed; balanced.

The things that no one uses because their so bad and DE is constantly begged about rarely get fixed unless they, themselves, are even bothered by it.

Maybe, though, one of these days they'll implement your ideas, because to me, they sound excellent for that ult that is the bane of my existence.

Lol Ikr, if anything Fireblast can sometimes act as a better ult than WoF at times.

  3. I think the reason for the time is so that you dont forget that you have it on and waste all your energy, that has already happened many time to me, and the only reason I knew it stoppped was because I stopped dealing damage.

I know, but if it has such a short duration anyways it should just be a toggle, or atleast be like Mirage's ult and have a good CC at the end.

  4. I know this has been said a million times but please, remove the timer! With this removal I have a way of making the ability better whilst keeping it balanced.

First of all remove the cap on number of targets that can be hit by the explosions inside the radius; I don't know any other ult that does this so it just seems so pointless. Next since Ember deals damge over time I have an idea. Basically what would would happen is after WoF is casted, for ten seconds is deals  400 damage per tick and cost 5 energy per tick; after ten seconds it starts to deal 500 damage per tick and cost 10 energy per tick. So as you can see the damage increases over time, however to balance this the cost of it increases over time aswell. Also if you have less duration on your build, there would be less time between each tick and if you play Saryn you will know that this causes damage to go through the roof.

Finally i wanted to also say that maybe the explosion could have a bit of knockdown and some AoE just further increase utility (however this may make it TOO OP so I'm not too sure about that)

    TL;DR: Read It (Tee Hee)

  5. Radial nukes COULD BE choice. They aren't in a game where energy is easy to come by, the nukes are generally better at everything than at least one other ability in each kit, and mods completely remove downsides from them.

TBH i wouldn't want more radial nukes in the game, they are just too easy to use and basically kill everything without any thought.

  6. I thought it would be cool if there were different crosshairs for each weapon type and I started to come up with some, please leave some feedback and don't be afraid to post some of your own!

EDIT: instead of them being compulsory, maybe they could just be an option for those who want to use them.

  7. I was just thinking about how maybe warframes could have a fifth ability, I'm not sure if it would work but I wanted to get it out there. What do you think and if there was a fifth ability what what frame would it be and what would the ability do?

  8. This sounds amazing (no pun intended) but as said before it would be difficult for you to hear your music if everyone is just racking kills. Maybe it would be better if only you hear your music, then that way it won't be a competition for kills to hear your music.

Also the part about ultimates activating could be quite interesting if the music is somewhat fixed to a strict tempo or in most cases it may have a free tempo.

Finally I wanted to say that maybe when in combat, your  music starts playing and when you kill and enemy you hear a bass drum of some sort. Just as a way to keep the variety in the sounds. Like maybe when someone is going on a spree and is getting lots of kills the music could be escalating a lot and could involve a lot of vocals.

    Here's an example:

  9. Shared power from kills would be nice, but still killer-frames would be hated and this would cause a teamwork downgrade, and team reliability already is pitiful.... and if everyone uses weapons only, that`d be too easy, endless power, 100+ waves anywhere.... It`s a good potential, but warframe is not ready for it yet at this stage.....

    True

  10. It's an interesting prospect but like Bizzaro21 already noted, having energy degrade automatically after a time is an outright bad idea in its entirety.  There's a two-fold issue here and it also creates other snags.  This type of thing incentivizes high fire rate weapons massively, while also forcing players to actively compete with one another for kills.

At the moment players already compete for kills in a lot of cases purely for bragging rights alone, and even then it starts getting out of hand with the "hallway/door heroes".  Giving people a valid reason to enact such a playstyle is in rather poor taste I'd say, it's not something to either reward nor incentivize.  As for the other part, the suggestion basically creates a rather rude gesture towards Sniper type players, who aren't in need of such a thing.

While it's an intriguing thought, I'd have to say I'm entirely against its implementation as a core replacement/rework to the existing system currently in place.  There's a lot that's tricky/odd with the current energy system, but it at least doens't pit players directly against one another.

Exactly, and with mesa that would drain energy from the whole team, mesa kills them with power: no energy, team has none to kill: no power

Other than this, it could be simply added as a mod for power steal (like lifesteal but in power) a part of damage dealt is turned to power for the one dealing the damage (P.S: the mod is for weapons not frame)"

yes i see what you both mean, it wouldn't involve any team work as it would just become another shoot it until it's dead mindset" and would just take away from teamwork overall.

Another idea I sort of have is maybe it just gives the energy to everyone when people get kills, so it work as a team supply, like the energy plates but instead you can do it on the move.

Still though I understand that this idea is still not exactly concrete yet. I may try to change things and see people reactions.

  11.  as for energy drain when no kills no thnx that would be bullS#&$ in defense/interception when the rotation shows up and captures/exterminates aswell when there are sometimes lack of mobs

yeah that is true, I may remove that from the idea, as it was just a way to keep people in the fight. But now that you say that, it does sound like a troll on people who cant find enemies.

  12. Ok so before I start this off, I know many will say "it's fine how it is" or "just leave it alone" which is fine as it is their opinion and I understand. However this is just an idea I have as I know quite a few people have be suggesting the energy system should change and if it ever were to I have an idea of what it could be.

Basically if you play Star Wars The Old Republic, you may know that the energy system works something like this (I'm not completely sure if it functions like this) : As you do damage, you start to build up force, this then lets you cast abilities which consume your Force as they have a fixed cost.

Now what I was thinking for Warframe is for the the energy system to work like this.

Basically what would happen is, you would gain energy by doing damage to enemies, the damage would have to be done with a weapon, like how syndicate powers work. Then as usual you could be able to cast abilites.

    What do you think?

EDIT: Removed the part about energy drain.

  13. Yes. All the rooms are pre made, but how they connect to one another is randomized, so no two missions look excactly alike.

Oh I see now, makes more sense. Then in that case maybe they could have a map structure specifically for this game mode that did not change (I'm not sure how they would code it to do that but it's a possibility).,
