  1. I believe their testing was an internal one with veteran players,

     

    i heard about that many times. but always ask myself a question: veterans of what? draco-farm? or just a group of founders?

     

    if they would gather vererans of competitive shooters (ql,ut,cs,whatever) - current pvp system wouldn't be released, but it seems that DE decided for whatever reason that veterans of PvE can be used for balancing PvP and from my perspective this was fundamentally wrong

  2. seriously.

     

    when devs on the last dev stream said that "coptering is fine" and "there will be no nerf to cephalon carrier" - the only thing i wanted at that moment is to force all of them try to and capture a volt player with decent coptering skills carrying a cephalon..

     

    either coptering should be nerfed, or maps should be redesigned, because now you need only 2 jumps on two maps and 3 jumps on third one to cross it from one ceph to the other. and this is ridiculous

  3. So, G3 broke an Interception mission for us. They appeared just when we hit 100% capture points and started to kill what is left.

     

    G3 Spawned, we killed them and all other mobs and after that - mission stuck. We waited and waited, but next round never started, and after ~10 minutes of waiting we had to abandon the mission.

  4. He doesn't need to have a new all powerful mod or weapon every time he pops up

     

    well.. i don't even need POWERFUL.. i just need NEW.  as a game developer i know that making a re-skinned weapon with a bit different stats is like .. 30 minutes for a 2D/3D artist, 15 minutes for a programmer and an hour for a tester. like... DE can introduce NEW re-skinned weapons on every arrival of Baro, and it will cost them almost nothing..

    They don't even need game designer's time for this, because Warframe has no balance to stick to.

  5. Spy run must be done with a full squad.

     

    what the hell?? what is the point of this? you want to show your potential customers how good your cooperative gameplay is? too bad - spy missions are barely suitable for cooperative

     

    1) it is a pure hell if you are doing it with randoms

    2) it is a bit better if you are doing it with friends, but even then you are not 100% sure about their skills and concentration

    3) there are literally nothing four people can do in the same vault, and the only reason to have a squad for a spy mission is doing the vaults simultaneously (and for that you need only 3 people, fourth will just be a nuisance)

    the main problem with super-sanic flag carrier in Warframe is that other players can not pursue him AND shoot him at the same time. So basically you can either move as fast as flag carrier, but not shoot him, or you can shoot him but cannot move at the same speed. Which makes a big mess: the only way to reliably kill a flag carrier is to stand on his way beforehand.

     

    In games like Quake and UT pursuers are able to move at the same speed as flag carrier and shoot him at the same time.

    well, until there are space ninjas - it is still warframe pvp.

     

    I too thing that if DE cannot balance all the abilities - they should be removed from PvP. Better have solid, balanced PvP with minimum variety, than a copter-jerk circus which in it's current state doesn't even suitable for the role of casual entertainment.

  8. Ults shouldn't insta-kill at all anyway. But I do think some should go through certain walls and some shouldn't for variety and different uses.

    I like what you suggested for Overload where its more like a field that kills you if you stay in it for too long.

     

    well, stuff like Sonar or Molecular Prime can ignore walls, but not direct damage abilities.

    why coptering is still in pvp? why one-shot ults are still there? why casting animations prevents taking any damage? this needs to be fixed asap
