Oberon(prime) is my go to for unknowns these days. Used to be Trinity but Oberon allows for better gameplay flow. ...I miss Trinity.
As for weapons, I use my zaw (polearm grip), my Vaykor Marelok, annnnnd I don't really have a prefered primary. Maybe Arca Plasmor just for pure face-wrecking.

For a shotgun i think it has pretty freaking decent ammo with instant reload no complaints about the ammo form me.
Honestly, what a weapon is classified as is less about how it looks or works and more about what mods it can use. And the ammo pickups, I suppose.
It's not the first "unconventional" shotgun. It's not even the first beam shotgun. Astilla is a shotgun and it basically shoots a frag grenade, and the Convectrix and Phage both beat Phantasma to the beam shotgun game.

Sounds like it's a little more to do with the energy color used than a universal issue for the gun. Of course, you can't control what other players do, but for your own use you could simply use a darker color than white. We have plenty such colors.

I prefer Bullet Dance myself. My preferred gunblade, when I bother to use one, is Redeemer, and Bullet Dance works pretty well on it. I can't comment on the Sarpa because I just don't use it.

Inaros or Nidus. Build them right and learn their powers and they simply don't die. Inaros is more mobile, Nidus has higher ability damage potential. Both have great CC. Either one is a solid choice for high level soloing.
Opticor is phenomenal for dealing with bullet sponges. Get it, forma it, love it.

There is space above that line for you to type your reply. They do that so they can easily tell what you're saying apart from what the automated message said.

If it makes you feel any better, we also heal them of the mental torture they'd otherwise be enduring, reliving terrible memories for the rest of their protracted existence. Pretty sure the relationship isn't so much slave/manipulator as it is a symbiotic one.

Straight Toxin damage is arguably better for Corpus because it bypasses shields. Granted it's good to have Corrosive for pretty much every other faction, so I'm not saying don't work on that. But for Jupiter, you might try Toxin instead on your primary and see how that works for you.

It can be. Sometimes people get caught up in a (in these cases, VERY long) cycle of effort -> gratification -> effort, until at some point they get tired of the constant effort and no longer consider the reward gratifying. At that point they might come to the conclusion that, because that's all they were doing, that's all there is to the game, and because that's not worth it anymore, then the game "is absolute trash." From their perspective that's a justifiable opinion.
Whether or not I or anyone else agrees with that is another matter. That's not how I play the game, so that's not my opinion on it. But I can see why someone would form that opinion. It is "just burnout," but it's burnout after devoting 1000+ hours to what you now think is pointless. That can leave someone with a pretty bad outlook.

Primes are generally a luxury. You can do just fine with base frames, especially if you're a new player.
As for a farming build, without knowing what mods you have, I suggest focusing on range and efficiency to get the most out of Desecrate, as well as health, which is important for Nekros in particular. I also recommend investing in the Despoil and Shield of Shadows augments when you can. Despoil will make Desecrate use your health instead of energy, which isn't as bad as it sounds with all the health orbs that will likely spawn via Desecrate. It's pretty self-sustaining. Shield of Shadows will transfer some incoming damage to your minions. Just make sure to keep some minions around to make use of it.

Judging from the concept art, the orange bits will use the Energy channel. They appear to have a soft glow in the concept art, and they also match the flame on the chakram and behind the shins.
