did you activate the beam after beating the spectre?
-
It's a standard progression mechanic that exists in most games, as you progress through the game you become more powerful and gain access to more powerful abilities and equipment that allows you to take out your enemies faster and more efficiently, equipment/character/race/class synergies are also a very common mechanic just like the simulor+mirage combo
games like warframe/STO/TES/ESO/Destiny *shudders*/Diablo/WOW/Neverwinter and many games going back into the 90s have been doing this for years and it's very unlikely to change.

so your asking to nerf launchers, syndicate weapons (that have an AOE bonus), ignis, simulor (both variants), AOE mods (combustion beam, concealed explosives, thunderbolt, power throw etc), chaining weapons (amprex, atomos), frame AOE abilities (most frames have an AOE), frame syndicate augment mods (that boost AOE abilities) and sentinels... that's a huge chunk of the game.

I think someone has been playing too much skyrim

Won't happen, DE want to earn money.
DE has done it before, there are quite a number of research weapons that cannot be bought with plat already
-
what about the next infested themed weapon that requires HEMA to research (along with more mutagen samples) and cannot be bought from the store with plat (buying hema won't eliminate the research requirement)
-
using Mirage and Simulor is a good frame/weapon synergy when using the mechanics of the frame and weapon as intended, why punish people that have grinded Suda to get the weapon just because a few don't like it.

They're maybe thinking high costs = buy with plat instead. I know I did that with Knux release - it's done now but if a clan isn't motivated for something enough high resource costs can be the most frustrating experience in game esp with hard to grind stuff (Nitain, Tellerium etc). Mutagen Mass was a stupid choice though - it's only recently stopped being derelict exclusive and Mutagen as a whole is too rare (every invasion seems 3 Fieldron yet one Muagen Mass on same planet?).
until they make the next weapon a research only weapon (not buyable with plat) that requires HEMA as a research prerequisite or construction component
-
DE has an extremely annoying habit of adding research weapons as a requirement for other research weapons , i have a feeling that DE will make HEMA a requirement for another weapon at some point, buying HEMA does not eliminate the research part you still have to do it for the other weapon making it a 5k mutagen sample gate on top of the next weapons requirements.

or cancel research projects

I don't recall them doing that with Bombards but if they did then sure, I'd be okay with that.
bombards use the AT_ogris that has the homing mechanic that our orgris lacks

I use beam weapons frequently especially flux, i would like to see it buffed a bit although i won't say no to a prisma or vandal variant of the weapon, DE could make the prisma weapon a buyable from Baro.

Hence the buff proposal.
Consider the alternative, buffing a weapon wielded by enemies like they did with Supra. Techs now have highest enemy DPS in game (as far as I know) after they buffed Supra. Elite Crewmen (Flux Rifle crewmen) used to be annoyingly powerful before devs finally made tweaks after complaints.
There's a way around that, give enemies npc variants of weapons like DE did with bombards, that way any changes to our weapons won't effect npc weapons.
-
Enough with the nerf threads already, if you don't like the weapon then don't use it and let the rest of us play the game in our own way.
-
I agree, get rid of the beam wobble of Glaxion and atomos already.
-
why not just replace some of the forma rewards with Nitain in the fissure reward pool? especially Meso D1 which has 2 forma rewards, that would at least give us an extra more reliable source.

To all people who write in "dojo" section. There is almost no news about dojo updates and devs dont pay attention to it. So if you have a problem with dojo, you will need to wait untill devs will do everything else in their to-do list.
But the problem with their to-do list is that they keep adding new content to it instead of improving/expanding existing content.
-
the only weapons i've used that can reliably shoot down bombard missiles is ignis and nukor due to the wide fire cone
-
please add the ability to cancel research DE, also get rid of the stupid need to farm pigments, let us use the colour palettes we have already or even just the 2 classic ones.
-
just make them pickup when we walk over them but make them immune to vacuum, just like reactant
-
Got this on using Inaros and the Sai's (forget name) on Titan, melee suddenly stopped working and functionality only returned after using a revive.
-
a lot of stuff done before the SOTR update didn't count towards the junction requirements, only completed quests registered as done in the requirement list everything else like resources/bosses/kill enemy a x amount of times, build x item (even if you have 100s of them already) did not count and had to be done again
-
and fix the atomos while your at since they both have the same beam wobble problem
-
yet quanta (has both explosive secondary and use combustion), other continuous primary weapons that use the combustion mod and simulor (vortex detonation) have explosive effects but no self-damage.
The silliness of "crafting" dual weapons

Because WF doesn't use an off-hand weapon slot, like some rpgs do which would allow for mixed dual-wield
