  1. This is one of the most horrible builds I have seen, with out any offense.

    Using SF+Vitality on low armor frames is not the way to go. Loki have Invisibility for a reason, and you lose efficiency with your build. Survivability can be achieved by making either Irratiated Disarm range+efficiency or going perma Invisibilty.

     

    XD : "most horrible build" ... yes, you're pretty much right because it is a T4S SOLO only build. I pretty never use it elsewhere because it's not use full. but why ?

     

    First : SOLO means no help and Bombard and grenade in T4 oneshot you without "Redirection + Steel fiber + Vitality + VIGOR". I cannot make it to 20' without it.

     

    Second : I always keep distance with enemies by using decoy so Radial Disarm at base range is enough.

     

    Third : One Radial Disarm cost 100 energy, two times invisibility = 60 seconds of invisibility

     

    Loki is a specialized Warframe and I specialized it more so it really turn in an "most horrible build"... YEAH but I can do my "60 T4S keys runs" without help. :p

  2. Best Loki Build I made (you can use the primed version of continuity or flow, if you have) Invisibility MAX and no Radial use.

     

    AURA : Energy Siphon

    Base : Redirection + Vitality + Steel Fiber + Vigor

    Mods : Continuity + Narrow Minded + Constitution + Flow

     

    Why ? Because I can do Tower IV survival up to 20-25min alone without any reborn, killing VOR each time without loosing too much time on him.

  3. you sholud try the search function sometime. it really helps and you'd of found out all about oro kitty. it's an "easter egg" that the devs put in. there are roughly 50 of them scatttered around and there is a thread dedicated to their locations.

     

    Ooups... I try but search is not my "forte"... so it look more and owl than a kitten so I should change my "neurodes".

     

    Last question : where is a thread dedicated to their locations ? (yeah I tried search but seems it just too bad XD)

    Some Will say I'm flooding or trolling but it's not my intention.

     

    During some research (trollin with loki to find hole in map, I accidentally find a LOST orokin creature, see :

    A my scanner say didn't scan him, I think it have a special orokin camouflage...

    FIRST : I think, it should a least be "scannable" an give some XP because finding him was hard (purely false :p)

    SECOND : If I'm the first reporting this little guy, I should name it "Stevy the Owly".

  5. Most Fun (mainly because of non-offensive abilities)

    #1 LOKI, trick master : S.Teleport and invisibility, you can go anywhere and fooling around (running away from enemies)

    #2 Vauban, trap master : Setting trap and seeing enemy jumping in them is a pleasure

    #3 Nova ( third because I really like her tiny look saying : "I look i've got a pyjama but i'll still kick you")

     

    Least fun (mainly because of Offensive abilities)

    #1 Rhino (I never play it but only fun when you see 3 rhino dying and your loki still intact)

    #2 MAG (really useful with all her abilities... but nothing else, no interaction with the map)

    #3 Oberon (my very personal opinion ... he's creepy....don't like goats)

  6. So we are speaking about Noise Range Logic... I really like this

     

    I've been wondering... how is it that our enemies are supposed to know the gunshots they hear (while the tenno is invisible) are that of an enemy?

     

    To be true, Grinner hear shot from relative short range distance and if they don't see anything the there come the question :

     

    If your hear some gun shot and see nothing, there is :

    A) a ghost B) a Tenno C) an corpus invasion D) What Stalker ???

     

     

    And after they've been alerted to the presence of a tenno, how are they supposed to single out where the sounds of the tenno firing are coming from when there are other enemies shooting?

     

    In my test, it take them some time and I was pretty next to them (less than 5m)...For grinner, they are paranoiac and short lived things so killing an ally is no problem (remember Vor killing another grinner when excalibur get is *** save by frost - PS trailer).

     

     

    What happens if I bring a Grakata/Hind/Viper/Supra/Flux Rifle/Dera/etc with me? How are the enemies supposed to know the gunshots they hear aren't one of their own allies?

     

    And we have a habit of fighting in enclosed spaces, how are they supposed to figure out our firing location when that sound is reverberating through the room?

     

    If your hear A LOT of gunshots in your base, what is happening ?

    A) a "Syndicate" rebellion B) a Tenno C) an idiot that drink to much griddy milk and get drunk D) What Stalker ???

     

    Answer A to C : you shot... D never happen

     

    ...

     

    I can (almost) find an answer for each question but the problem is ... can they act better and clever ?

     

     

    ...they should shoot at the sound of the Tenno's silenced weapon bullets hitting a far of wall.

     

    This IS a HELL of GOOD of idea... I would love it because, you can act wisely making diversion apart from the "decoy" -> "alarm" -> swarm of troopers usual thing. They can see the arrow (not sure) and act in consequence but not when bullet hitting (yeah add try it in my test...).

     

    A Proposition : SO IF NOT ALERTED, enemies should go inspect  the location of bullet hitting (will add a lot of noise level processing but ...) and it will give banshee's power and noise's mods a great boost and usefulness in spy 2.0.

     

    -SUB proposition : make exploding ammo (penta/ogris) generate a lot of noise at explosion.

  7. To my surpise, Thunderbolt cannot be used on both Ballistica and Rakta Ballistica, which I think they should.

     

    You think they should because thunderbolt can be use with ATTICA, the primary Crossbow (never test it)

     

     

    Thunderbolt is a mod for bows as primary weapons. Sure, we can get a mod like Thunderbolt but it's obvious why we can't use the existing one.

     

    Yeah,The Only one is taht exist is Cephalon's mod ENTROPY SPIKE but for Bolto only. I've use it and even just lvl30 without reactor... it can be really really fun... but I only love my AKBolto, bolto alone wasn't useful.

     

    I don't think they will made another Entropy Spike's mod because :

    -It will be an event mod (not a regular one)... I'll love get one for my AKbolto (too much powerfull)

    -SPY 2.0 won't be great with explosive gun's.

     

    One viable and fun idea is a "molecular" mods that act live NOVA's ability making an enemy a bomb with charged shot and charging damage upon explosion with regular shoot.

  8. Ha xD They don't already do this. This isn't something I just decided to post for lols. I tested it in-game, which is why I complained about it. Because I didn't think it was fair. Maybe the odd grenade is thrown in your direction but they don't attempt to shoot/melee you if you've relocated after going invisible, and shoot an unsilenced weapon.

     

    Not really Pickle, I can call you Pickle ?... I have made a capture lvl 3 to truly see a solo Grinner actions :

    -I start going Invisible and shoot (With Strun Wraith) just next to grinner : they flew to take cover but not shoot (standard Grinner)

    -I go in their back and shoot : They come to me, don't shoot and then go take cover (standard grinner)

    -I go in their back and shoot : They come to me, don't act and just follow the noise (melee grinner)

     

    Next test was to let them switch ALARM ON, same reaction with any grinner.

     

    NEXT BIG TEST

     

    I go next to five grinners invisible that never see me (alarm still on) and shoot my StrunW : they come to me an then take cover.

     

    I stay on the top of console, doing nothing and when turning visible : they shoot me and send their grenades.

     

    I stay on the top of console, doing nothing and turn invisible : they just end their shooting and send their grenades and the stop attacking.

     

    I stay on the top of console, Shooting my strun and Still invisible : they did nothing 4-6s and just start their shooting and send their grenades at me.

     

    I go behind a grinner, doing nothing and still invisible : they just end their shooting and send their grenades (where I was) and the stop attacking.

     

    I change location, start Shooting my strun and Still invisible : they take cover and do nothing 4-6s and just start their shooting and send their grenades at me.

     

    RESUME : IF LOKI is Invisible, Grinner hearing a weapon : take cover, stand by and then attack still in cover with weapons and grenades.

     

    Why do they don't do it all time ??? NOISE RANGE !!! everybody know grinner galleon extraction with the two Slope (slide) between the three platform ? :

     

    While Invisible with my AKBolto, I can shoot just next to the grinner from one Plateform to another he doesn't react !!!

    -I can shoot just next to the grinner from one Plateform to another he doesn't react !!!

    -I can shoot just next to the grinner at 2/3 distance of the Plateform to another he doesn't react !!!

    -I can shoot just next to the grinner at 1/3 distance of the Plateform to another he RUN and take Cover

     

    MY OPINION : They are a lot less stupid than I believe, It's just that we, tenno, are way too fast ! So you cannot see them acting wisely because you kill them too fast and swarm of enemies rise the probability of attacking !!!

  9. Globe need to have a HP counter.

     

    That buff is super. 

     

    I agree, it seems to me that the change is super in a certain extent :

    -I can make it in T4MB a bit more easily than before BUT I had to change some mods and go with Blind rage. I feel that it's better but I don't have any proof because when surround by enemies my Globe seems to bit less effective. WHY ???

     

    A/ Good part :

    -The ability to "relocate" the snow globe is really useful when you forget a part of the terminal you want to protect.

    -Having the stack of health is excellent and greatly help for the field of view where multiple globes decrease your visibility.

     

    B/ VERY BAD part :

    -You cannot estimate your now only one globe health, with multiple globes I strictly know when only one of my two or three globe stop or was destroy.

    -In tiers III or IV on Defense, When you globe lost all health, it vanish without warning, you get a FULL FIRE and you sometimes died without having time to do anything BUT generally the Terminal is destroy before you can recast a globe or do anything.

     

    1/ WHAT can we (DE) do ?

    FIRST THING (worst) : Having a Health meter and numbers like the excavator with a Roman number on the map. So you can follow the health and have a true idea of the effectiveness. If we can follow a necros shadow life and health why not the snow globe ? yes it will be a fun killing implementation !

     

    Second thing (bad) : Change the Snow Globe design by having a color change when health go down. The less health it have, the less visible it will be. The more you can see the enemy... the worst it is, you (DE) can permit infinite stack of snow globe because IF you choose to have ten time the health you will not see anything !

     

    Third idea (good ?) : Give snow globe a snow-flake "pattern", the more health the more snowflake will be (1 snowflake / 500 health). In the same way add nova like antimatter particles that orbit around the globe and that goes with the globe dissipate OR (easy to implement) make the globe spin around itself, the more life the more spin/min it will make.

     

    WORST than BAD (Fully against IT) : Give it the Nullifier Crewman mecanics when "Firing at the globe causes it to gradually shrink and eventually dissipate the globe altogether". Don't NEVER EVER DO THIS !!!!

  10. First thing : don't FULL-Quote my post, it's post #107 and you quote it at # 108.

     

     

    I change the target to "Enemy Awareness Vs Invisibility/Smoke Screen Buff"

     

    Like Ours Deal Lotus often say in the past : "Change of plan, Tenno". So I'll go with Enemy half-baked awareness VS Stealth Abilities

     

    And when I mean Stealth abilities, I mean anything than can help doing stealth like excalibur disco's power... So what can we do to achieve an Equilibrium between Awareness and Stealth. I will be a bit dishonest :

     

    -Your title seem to propose "rise the awareness" and "sink the Stealth (invisibility)", since rising the IA is very hard nerfing is your solution.

     

    1-RISE the awareness : read my B/ What can we do ? in post 107 and add some more

     

    2-Sink the stealth : just ask DE to trash SPY 2.0. I will develop my view in another post but don't forget a LOT of enemies ignore stealth (robots, traps) so It won't kill the game and fun because if you send a Rhino in a stealth play you will see that SPY 2.0 disappear like snow in the desert.

     

    First : Stealth Play is hard, most of time you cannot do it (thanks to Rhino) and YOU want it to be HARDER ???

    Second : There is 22 Warframes and 1.5 that are stealth oriented... so if I follow you and halfed the stealth, WARFRAME will have 0,75/22 = 3,41% of stealth-frame instead of 6,82% of it.

    Third : Invisibility have already it's down-side, you have an awful field of vision, you cannot recast while active, you still get hurt (I get usually 60 to 80% of damage while in survival with 3 rhinos even cloaked all the time) and even Shade and Hura's invisibility doesn't have all these handicaps.

     

    I'm simply suggesting to have enemies shoot where you last made noise, and with a drastic decrease in accuracy. So then try not to think of it as an Invisi/SS nerf. More like an enemy awareness buff.

     

    Oh Man, they ALREADY do this... I try it just after reading your post : When a grinner see and yelled and go to activate alarm, others grinners that don't see you but hear your go to your last see/hear location (but they don't shoot automatically).

     

    Tenno are ninja, don't make noise while walking, jumping, wall running even when eating so I'll ask you what YOU can propose me for :

     

    1/ RISE THE STEALTH FOR ALL !!! AND SINK the Un-stealth-play !!!

     

    2/ Simple action to Rise the Awareness without touching the warframe !!!

     

    PS : I Don't and won't ever play Rhino but still like them. XD

  11. The title say : Loki [And Potentially Ash] Invisibility Nerf (Omg, Here We Go Again)... so I'll speak about that only !

     

    OK, I'll start with some boring statement : It's a stupid Idea to nerf invisibility and DE won't do it because Loki is one of the first warframe (from the start and for the newbies) and not the most easy to play with.

     

    1/ Why people want to nerf him ?

    Like Rhino (Iron skin), Excalibur (Radial...) and Nova (press 4) people in multi-player mode see it him as another player who can do anything without any risk  AND they got shoot but loki don't so he is invincible.

    -Others players don't what a "fun killer" ability like Nova's press4towin...

    Some want warframe be like others games fight where furtiveness's roles being hard ... like in real life...

     

    2/ Why Loki seem Powerfull ?

    I use LOKI since update 7 and he was always difficult to master, dangerous to use but a truly powerful helping hand. Loki since the beginning is a very specialized warframe like Rhino (tank) and Excalibur (Warframe-of-all) but people see is true nature when :

    -Melee 2.0 made him and invisibility a very good and easy to use cleaner

    -SPY 2.0 made him the Ultimate King of spy mission...

     

     

     

    A/ Why Nerf wont' do it

    First of ALL : "SPY 2.0" ... Warframe is a Space "badass" Ninja game where Space and badass rules but ninja didn't mean anything apart from warframe's looks and weapons. We all want more spy and ninja like mission so nerfing the invisibility will destroy SPY 2.0 and everything similar; Do it and Rhino will laugh at you : "don't need furtiveness, just full frontal attack".

    Most people don't like Loki's invisibility messing up their mission but have you ever play solo with loki ? I have made 95% of the solar map ALONE with LOKI in SOLO mode ... even now invisibility is not a easy ability to use... one mistake and you're gone so nerfing it will undoubtedly kill all's players that can only play in SOLO....

     

    B/ What can we do ?

    Some good idea can be dig from all the past post :

     

    -Make a less stupid IA ( have you ever use the OPTICOR ???), it's sad and funny because you can kill a grinner in middle of 20's others and ... they just do nothing. They have to go full alarm if they see a dead body, hear a weapon...and call (spawn) heavy troopers in mass (like 4-5 bombards).

     

    -Make MORE SPY FOR ALL, and I think this is what DE want to do with spy 2.0, a bit less "arms race" a bit more NINJA's FIGHT.

     

    -ADD more SPY's spice in the Warframes's abilities (Like for limbo, banshee, Volt etc....)

     

    -ADD more place to hide in the maps for all warframe (there is a lot of secret room where you can wait for alarm to go off when 10 bombards will group to kill you).

     

    LAST WORD : Loki is one of the oldest warframe and achieving a good "Equilibrium" was very hard. NERFing one ability and you'll have to rise another one or give him more shield/armor/health... a bigger problem WILL RISE.

    Gun parts (2 Slots needed)

    Lato 1 : 10,000 C, 0s

    -Bolto 1 : 35,000C + 12h

    Lato 2 : 10,000 C, 0s

    -Bolto 2 : 35,000C + 12h (you cannot craft 2 bolto inthe same time)

    AK Bolto : 35,000C + 12h

     

    Blade parts (1 slot)

    Dual Skana : 45,000 + (12h but you can craft it during AKbolto crafting)

     

    AKJagara : 40,000 C + 12h

     

    So it will take something like 220,000 C + 48h and 2 free slots and for me who make craft during the night.... 4 nights almost as long as a warframe for these tiny things

     

     

    The last question, is it worth it ??? do no know because I don't have enough free slot and haven't start crafting it ! XD

     

     

    SO LET SEE WHAT WE NEED :

  13. Personally I use :

     

    Primary Dread : Because Loki have no offensive power so even in T4S solo, you can outdo all BIG enemies

    Second AKbolto : High rate of fire, you can take a mass of enemies in short time

    Melee Dual ether : Any weapon will do, as long as you have are fast and can make multiples strikes

     

    All weapon are equipped for silent run to take care of BIG One, Mass of ennemies and clear the path

  14. First time is always the best... surprise.

     

    I had a awful LOT of this, mainly with Loki (since update 7). There is less problem nowadays but sometimes with

    -Loki, or Nova (ability to change place it append)

    -Doing Wall Run and going trough the other side

    -Getting sucked by the door (being corrected) <-- Really hate this one...

     

    I admit, a lot of time, it is my fault cause I also wanted to look and go where I SHOULD not !

  16. yeah mokunen...but derelict is the place because :

    -the boss give higher chance of neurodes drops

    -the boss have a Lephantis corpus head which make a lot spawn with Infested Spawn Pods

     

    And I also played a lot of derelict defense with a Penta and my tiny vacum sentinel... zero move just click and let the sentinel collect everything
