About your idea LiquidBreakfast. It sounds like a really nice alternative. Perhaps with the objects to steal requiring jump puzzles or team work to be accesible.

Maybe they could implement the grappling hook here too. The team has to reach areas only accessible with them and hack consoles to open loot rooms. Another thing is that it can latch to certain objects that you have to move to reveal secret rooms with caches of loot.

  2. I've been trying to install my Shred mod on my rifle but it states that I can't install the same mod on my primary weapon and sentinel weapon simultaneously but I checked my sentinel weapons and it's not installed. I figure, well let me just uninstall all the mods from my sentinel weapons and see if that works but I still get the message I can't install the mod simultaneously. Has anyone encountered this? It didn't happen to me until update 10.0.4.

Edit: It's now happening with one of my Cryo Rounds mods. I have nothing installed on any of my sentinel weapons.

  3. I'm not sure if anyone is having this problem but it seems some mods (my Shred to be exact) won't install on my rifle and it states it's in use by one of my sentinel weapons but when I checked my sentinel weapons it's not installed.

Edit: I uninstalled all of my mods that were installed on the sentinel weapons and I still get the message that my Shred is installed on a sentinel weapon.

  4. Sometimes, during the second phase of the J2000 Golem Mission, clients will stop being able to deal damage. Only the host will have the capability to deal any damage to Golem.

Just happened to me. We couldn't deal damage at all. We though we were but I guess the host was dealing all the damaged until he died and left.

  5. Crit mode.

    87.5% crit

    660% grit damage

    Soma is fine.

Add in Hammershot and you get that crit damage up to 8.4x. OP is definitely using it wrong. I tear through T3 Exterminate, even up to a level 99 heavy gunner with ease playing solo.

  6. Don't worry kids, it's getting nerfed. The 35% crit chance is most likely supposed to be 3.5%.

I wouldn't put it past DE to break weapon balance vs mastery rank over their knee but this is just too much, even for them.

Soma is too easy to get and provides the highest DPS in the game, albeit not armour ignore. It even tops the Acrid if it's against unarmored targets.

It's not staying this way, don't get your panties up in a bunch.

I doubt that's the case. When the Strun Wraith came out with the 50% multiplier they brought it down to 20% within a few hours. DE has had more than enough time to see how the Soma works and I think they would have brought down the crit rate just as fast as the Strun Wraith. If it was a mistake, they would have fixed it today when they applied the hotfix. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not.

  7. It's like DE invaded my head and created the gun I was dreaming about since I started the game. This made Warframe 200% better for me.

I feel you on this one. When they were designing this rifle I was asking for a possibility of a rifle with a single shot, burst shot, and full auto selector and the Soma does the trick without a selector.

One Click (doesn't have to be really quick): One shot

Hold a bit and release: A good three to four shot burst

Hold Down: Wind up and full auto

This became my favorite rifle even before looking at the crit info. High crit rate and high crit damage multiplier is the icing on the cake for me. =)

  8. Hahaha damn straight! Devs were sweating hardcore at the stamina backlash. Who's idea was that.....?

Honestly, I don't blame them for trying to make a change. The game is in beta and they want to try different things in hopes of making an enjoyable and balanced game for all. My main problem was that the speed of the game, which is tied to stamina, is one of the main cores of the game and I think this should have been brought up in some type of topic from DE to see what the community would think about making the change. If the community disagreed with the change but DE still wanted to make some type of change to make stamina mean something in the game they could have taken suggestions from the community, implemented it, and then had us test it to see if we liked the new change or not. This may had reduced some of the rage that came after the change but I'm sure there would have still been some rage since people usually are not too keen to change.

In the end, I'm really glad DE still listens to the community. Kudos DE!

  9. The simple way of fixing the problems stamina created (1. It's pointless, 2. It's annoying) would be 'remove Stamina, reimburse everyone fusion cores for Quick Rest/Marathon'. This is obviously a somewhat more complex and intricate method of fixing the problems with stamina, but I think the game would be better off in the long run if this was done because it makes defensive abilities such as dodge and block, well, useful and limited.

    Instead of useless.

Anyways, the thing about removing sprinting is this:

    1. On a console or a controller with an analog stick you can adjust your movement perfectly (so you reduce the number of buttons the game requires on a controller).

    2. On the PC you can theoretically implement a run/walk toggle for fine movement. Say, caps lock toggles running and walking.

The idea would be that most of the time you should be moving faster than Usain Bolt, though, yes.

I read your original post and the only thing I wasn't agreeing with was getting rid of the walking pace as I mostly play solo and I like to creep around corners and kill unsuspecting enemies. I was thinking a toggle between walk and run would alleviate that problem and then I see your last post. I agree 100% with all of this. The current system has become a pain and the flow of the game is almost completely gone.

  10. Is anyone else seeing ammo/orbs/credits sticking to the ceiling?

The game would be much better if the stamina was changed back to no delay.  It doesn't add challenge or enjoyment, it just makes the game more tedious.

I am also pretty frustrated about some of the changes to the mod system.  I worked forever on levelling up two or three sets of each mod to have multiple weapons/frames outfitted at the same time, only to have all the hours, mods, and credits I spent rendered a waste now that we can equip the same mod on different weapons simultaneously.  So, thinking I would no longer need them, I sold off all my duplicate mods, including the levelled ones, and set about equipping all my weapons and my sentinel's weapons with my remaining set.  Now, with U10, I can't equip the same mod on a rifle and a sentinel rifle for example, and I need my levelled duplicate mods back.  It's extremely disappointing that even more of my time has been wasted.

It was noted in the Update 9.8 notes not to do this as this was a bug and they were going to fix the sharing of mods between your weapons and sentinels weapons.

  11. I just noticed that a rifle mod installed on my sentinel is showing on my primary upgrade screen by way of an notification when I tried to install it. Since they can no longer be shared will this be fixed where the mods installed on our sentinel weapons do not show in our primary upgrade screen and vice versa?

  12. Thanks for the hotfix but I'm wondering about the build time of the Derelict Survival. It was currently building before the hotfix and now it has a negative percentage. Is this one going to build faster than it is stating or is it going to take the 3 hours it was initially set? Not worried about the circuits I already used but hoping the build time will be faster than it is indicating.

  13. I definitely can't wait for this update! That UI looks amazing and the extra stat info is finally here.

About the name of the second mod and I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it before but I wonder if "Dismay" would be a good name. It is defined as to cause to lose courage or resolution (as because of alarm or fear). I'm not sure if anyone would like that but I thought I'd through that out there.

  14. Hmm, my Deathcube mods doesn't stay equip, even after I save/apply changes several times. New bug? anyone else having this problem?

My wyrm is fine but my Deathcube won't keep any mods equip, I think he's broken :(

This has been happening with my weapon and warframe mod loud-outs. At first I thought it was after you played a mission or logged out and logged back in it would revert back to its previous state but I just encountered that if you save a load-out, go the map screen, and back into your Arsenal it will revert back to its previous state. This is a starting to get a bit frustrating, having to put my loud-out back after every mission or if I go back into my Arsenal.

  15. Same for me. I submitted a ticket on this issue yesterday but I wonder if it's only certain frames. It was happening to my Frost Prime but when I configured my mod load-out with my Mag it saved with no problem. I tried Frost Prime again a few minutes ago and it still won't save my mod load-out. I think I'm going to wait for the next patch until I play again. Mod load-outs won't save, people losing gear that they purchased, lag and freeze issues. Yeah, I'm going to sit this one out until its fixed.
