"You're good. I guess I have to get myself some of whatever you were on when you saw that stuff." Clogori joked. "On a more serious note, that means Tavus was not contagious. Otherwise, your friend Syv... Sav... Sv... However you pronounce it, would be showing symptoms. I know he was there on Larunda."

Clogori continued his pacing, and looked put the big window thingy (new official name). The storm was overhead. Snow and hail already pelted the BWT (official abbreviation), and the temperature dropped slightly.

Might not have a strain inside of him, but he's the best candidate since Tarnas. Not fit for Infested control, but having multiple ways to raise the dead only ensures success. A Nekros would suit him nicely.

    Chegar Watched Clogori pace.

It wasn't just that he killed Tavus, It wasn't just that he was using Tarnas as a guinea pig. There was something else; something that made Chegar uneasy, wary, about the Limbo.
    But what?
15 second passed before Chegar realized he was staring.
"So... We've go the heat-lanterns, we've just managed to breach medical... I'm still pushing for a foundry or fabricator. It'll make getting off this rock so much easier." Chegar finally said looking out at the snow.
"Are you gonna keep orbiting that Fiber-optic display board? You're gonna make the crew dizzy just looking at you."

No sooner had the Frost finished uttering that red flag when the captain bolts between the frame and the open doorway, and with one swift strike while facing opposite their vision impales their braton straight through Svytoj, piercing through biometal and armor like it's made of paper, (the machete back finisher)

Svytoj Let out a growl as the baton enter his body.
    "...not this time..."

Quickly pulling the baton back out, the captain then brings it down in a violent right diagonal downward slash, and finishes with a vertical swing; the intent and force more than enough to sever even a warframe clean in half despite the lack of an edge.

((I'm assuming one handed strikes for this, but my post can still work with two handed strikes.))
He whipped around quickly, the first strike cutting deep into his chest and abdomen. The second slice didn't make contact, the Captains elbow making contact with the Frost side and Svytoj closed the gap ; Svytoj grabbed the captain under the arms, lifting him, and flinging him back into the middle of the room, sending the Man landing square on his back.

"Just hold still for a moment." Clogori said. "I'll run a quick scan. Nothing thorough."

He pulled out a (codex) scanner from  somewhere (Limbos have a weird coat, and he has a syandana, and you can probably hide a bunch of stuff in there), and pointed it at Chegar, he waited for the scanner to do its thing, and checked the results a moment later.

Strangely, everything seemed relatively clean. What infested material there was was dead, either incinerated with heat, or burned out with detergents and bleach.
The Vauban was Clean, clean, clean.
"...Well?" Chegar asked, Looking slightly impatient.

Wordlessly while still lying down on the floor, Aria lays her weapons down and grabs the supplies from the Frost. Her hands glow faintly as claws sprout to life over her fingers as she clenches the items in her palms. A short second later as she opens them back up the last of the water and plastic is subsumed into her frame, container and all. Arms reaching back down, she picks up her weapons and gets back on her feet using only her leg muscles.

Svytoj Took a deep breath. He slowly approached the opening in the door, letting the light flood over him.
    He stepped through.

The mesa trudged onwards, ignoring him.

"Well aren't you just a cold Cow-girl." The intruder said, miffed at the lack of response. "You're almost as bad as though guys in that tower." He continued following the Mesa. "An' now that Damn Frost and three of his friend are up there. You know I should be up there? Takin' my shot at that Tin Man up there? But NO! "I'll head in in just a bit, gonna take five..." she grumbles as she splays herself down like someone making a snow angel.

Svytoj closed in, Med kit and canteen in hand.
"Alright, Kiddo. Unless you're feeling sick, I'd suggest you drink up." He said, somehow sounding more alert as he handed the container of water to the exhausted Valkyr. "Honestly, I don't feel comfortable leaving one of our own outside." He still sounded tired, but less complacent about it. He began monitoring Aria's vitals, along with those of Mia and Leveret.

The mesa shuddered, then spoke in a voice that wasn't entirely its own.

    "Irrelevant. Move or be moved."

Then it resumed walking, dragging its cryopod with it. its shatter shield was still active form its previous fight, and the energy swirling around the mesa's pistols indicated that its next shot would hurt.

The Intruder Chuckled, slowly following behind with his Rifle still resting on his shoulder. He craned his neck over, trying to get a look at the cargo inside the cryopod. "So... who'd you have to kill to get a hold of this ice-box?"

A nearby door burst open, and a blood-splattered Mesa strode out, dragging what looked like a tenno cryopod behind her. She had no visible wounds on her, so the blood was someone else's.

The mesa paid the intruder little attention, heading towards the exit of the obelisk. The sound of another ship landing could be heard coming from that direction.

The intruder was standing between the Mesa and the sound of the landing ship. He placed a hand on the belt of his pants, letting the barrel of his vectis dip lightly into the sand.
"Looks like quite the haul, Kiddo. Your friends give you a bit of trouble over it?" The intruder asked, his coarse voice betraying the sing song-y tone he was trying to put on.
he cocked his head; behind the rounded helmet, his eyes were now flitting between the blood stains on her body, and the Mesa's helmet. The rusty & grime soaked gears in his head spinning.
He shouldered his Vectis, letting it rest on his back. The key in his armor rattled slightly.
"No... not 'kiddo'... NEW kid... " He let out, the tacked on sing-song tone now gone. "If you Ain't a Zarimon Brat... Who are you...?"

He grinned, hidden behind his helmet.

Eventually, the tenno reached a massive doorway that seemed to be roughly in the center of the ship. It was unlocked, but needed to be opened manually. In their current drained state, however, this would be quite exhausting.

"Listen. I know you claim it happened, but I think you were experiencing hallucinations during this so-called hunt for this "Rogue" induvidual." Clogori said. "None of the reports from there make any sense. Exposure to Tavus' Warframe may have spread the Infestation to you. I'd like to scan you for signs of Infestation, just to be sure."

“Do what ever scans you want. Take a biopsy if you have to. But my records and files are clear; they were no hallucination.” Chegar replied bluntly. He tapped on his PDA, hoping he was still in connection with his orbiters systems. No good; with his scimitar now trashes, he had no access to his home files.

The captain's free hand lashes out at the figure's neck, strangling them in a death vice hard enough to crush vessels and grind bone. With one smooth motion they hurl them around and back at the Frost head first.

The outfitted girl in the shadows lets out a single line between labored gasps, the rejuvenation aura stemming the injuries but not taking away the pain at all as they pull out a a datapad and pull out several wires extending from it, connecting them to the panel she's hiding behind.

[...try to lock them down in one *wheeze* place in the middle of the room, even for just a moment. I've got an idea...]

There was no collision, not in the normal sense. The Frost slid back, bracing against the force of the impact. The figure, flung head long at the Frost, was engulfed by it. Bits of his blue and black stained flesh could be seen peaking from holes left in the Warframe.
A metallic crepitus came as the Frost popped its neck, paying no mind the cracked metal under the flesh.

    Chegar gave another low huff.
"You already know my opinion on this..." he said, setting down the last of the heat-lanterns he had built. "I know what this means to you, so I'll do what I can to keep your project intact. But if he gets too close, even for a moment, to killing any member of this crew..." The flash was quick, Chegar's nikana became embedded in a thick slab of metal debris next to the Vauban. "He Dies."  He slowly resheathed his blade, Examining the set of 15 lanterns he had built.
"Going back to what you said... About giving him a chance to kill... There are only two suitable targets I know of what would work for that, and their both too great an asset to risk..." Chegar said, setting down the lanterns one by one, letting them heat up. "Thanks Rose," Marcus said, his voice inaudible to everyone else.

As he spoke, the Constable was guiding them through a ruined corpus obelisk. Apparently this was where the Heir had been stored. They were heading deeper and deeper into the vessel, with the Constable looking for various scratches and markers left by the Hierarchy scouts who had initially found it. After what felt like an eternity, they reached a large central chamber.

"Well," the Constable said, "There it is."

In the middle of the room lay a cryopod, with glass that was fogged over with frost, obscuring the figure within. Unlike everything around it, which was in a dire state of disrepair, it looked pristine.

Then the Constable suddenly vanished, and everything went to hell.

"Tsk Tsk..." A voice crackled over Roses Comms. "It's not polite to eavesdrop, Miss." His voice; oily over the line.
The ship Finally touched down near the Obelisk. The intruders clock billowed in the jet-wash, Vectis glistening in the desert sun as he exited his ship. "Hmm, guess I'll just have to swing harder..." The captain says to themselves as they witness the Frost pulling themselves back together.

The captain spins around, baton raised downward in front of their chest as they used it to parry off the electric hammer`s blow. Sprinting forward at speeds even hardened Tenno would barely be able to follow, they backhand the plundered pistol with enough force to shatter it and the hand carrying it, and swing their crackling baton down on the blue figure's left shoulder hard enough that even with incorporeality damage will still flow through.

The gun exploded in the figure's right hand, a wet cracking and the sound of the metal bones grinding emanated from his hand as the blue tissue was tenderized. The figure recoiled, dark fluid dripping as he clenched the damaged extremity. With barely enough time, the figure shifted their weight, the baton barely missed the bone, stripping some of the flesh from the figures shoulder, sending another spray of fluid across the floor.
Void energy seeped from the exposed junctions in the figure's arm.

The figure's left hand flew, slamming into the Captains helmet, another spray of dark fluid covered the face plate as tissue was crushed against armor, the bones underneath cracking the visor.

Finally the Frost stood, the hole in its head still prominent as it stood near the entrance. But it didn't act. is simply waited.

Like lightning on a rod, the captain was upon the Frost; thrusting their baton straight on into it`s helmet with enough force to cause an unaugmented skull to explode like a balloon, electricity crackling out the other side of the Frost. Whether the nueroptics follow suit as other heads or not, the captain continues with a flurry of blows starting with a low kick with their gauntlet protected left foot at the Frost's right knee hard enough to bend it inwards with and audible POP and knocking onto it's other knee.

Spinning like a top in the opposite direction, the captain quickly follows with a mid reverse roundhouse at the Frost's left arm, producing a similar effect as the earlier knee. With one more spin, she brings a gravity enhanced foot at the Frost's left side; sending them flying hard towards the entrance to the bridge.

Even as the damaged Frost was sent hurling towards the entrance, it managed to let out a round from is pillaged plasmor, striking the captain in the chest before smacking into the wall with a metallic crunch.
Another shot rang out, the sound of a scisco. The blue figure looked squarely at the Captain, the round slamming through the hip joint. It's optics glowing as is stared down the Corpus Captain.
The Frost slowly began to pop the armatures under its armor back into place, the shatter silhouette of its helmet looking on.

The crewman by the figure keeps going at full momentum, the leaking, sparking hole in it's chest not even slowing it down in the immediate moment as it brings out a by now familiar hammer off it's back and into an overhead swing at the figure's head.

The captain, now seeing that direct intervention is necessary, unsheathes a single stun baton from their waist and swings it straight up in front of their face before bring it back down to their side in a sweeping motion. Electricity crackles along their arm and feet guards, heating up the immediate area.

Up on the captain's chair, the shipboard time console shows only that a little under a minute has passed.

<JUST THOUGHT I'D GIVE YOU THE OPTION.>  the figure replied, another line of text crawling over her HUD. meanwhile, the Frosts regenerative aura was still working to repair the the damage done by her previous encounter with the crew.
With a single hand, the figure redirected the head of the hammer off to the side, letting it slam into the ground near his feet.
"Not this time." He said, placing one foot on the hammer, and raising the scisco to the crewman's head. He pulled the trigger once, twice, thrice, sending the rounds straight through the targets head.
The Frost was simply looking at the captain. It kicked one of the plasmor's up to it's hands, holstering the pistol Svytoj readied it for the next assault.

"and now we wait." Chegar reduced the power in the ship, leaving just enough for Ezio and the life support.

Clogori continued pacing back and forth, occasionally looking at the incoming storm. He had no idea if Tarnas or the cold would kill them first, but he hoped they'd last long enough to get off this moon. He didn't want everything to go to waste, because of the Grineer.

"If we do find Tarnas, I have no idea how we'll subdue him, to be honest. The only way I got him before was when I had every advantage." Clogori explained. "Now that the Infested has taken over and I have to worry about keeping the crew alive, he has the upper hand. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them."

"I hate to tell you this, but if you're planning on taking him off this rock, it'll be in bits and pieces..." chegar said, wiring up another lantern-heater. "The only reason why I've been able to keep toe to toe with him is by doing things that he couldn't account for. Then there's my friend, a Frost user, He simply tries to out-crazy him..." Chegar stopped, chucking to himself for a bit as he remembered what happened on Pluto. "Crazy B@st@rd Kicked 'em right in the nuts. I think that's the only time I've ever seen Tarna's go pale." Chegar slowly managed to bring himself back under control. "the point is, if we have any chance of pushing back, we're gonna need to make this place as horrible a battle ground for him as we can: subvert his misdirection and close quarters combat." Chegar continued, managing to complete a third lantern: he was getting good at this. "Only then will we have a chance..."

I'm just waiting for an opening to start blowing things up.}" Leveret responded, adjusting his trajectory to follow Svytoj with a trail of smoke venting from his Elytron's core. "{Oh, also, if you find any death orbs, save some for me, yeah?}"

"{Duly noted.}" Svytoj replied, rounds zipping by him and his Itzal. He moved to close the gap between him and Aria.

    (PSA incoming)

    (why can *I* get a mispost? :x)

Aria tears past and inbetween the incoming fire with reckless abandon, not bothering much in the way of evasion or even turning. Any projectile close enough to hit the Valkyr she angles herself to take it diagonally, the onboard shields deflecting a portion of the kinetic force while Aria rolls, spins, and runs on all fours over it.

Meanwhile, Mia is blinking like fireflies in the summer, teleporting every which way while weaving between the hostile fire. As she makes headway towards the blown open hangar, she unsheathes a larger scale rifle to her Latron P and fire shot after precise shot at the closest turrets in an attempt to clear out the nearest threats.

As Aria nears spitting distance of the hangar, a precise shot of explosive flak hits her dead on, enveloping her in a brilliant explosion and taking out the rest of her shields, blue flickering away like waves on a shore. As she comes out, the Valkyr is hefting another HE warhead over her arms.

"KNOCK KNOCK, YA FILTHY KEYHOLE SLOTTERS~!!!" Aria yells at the top of her voice over the comms, tone fully tinged with blood and lust.

With that, she hurls the turbocharged missile inside the hanger, causing another explosion inside as she barrels through it, Galatine and Soma Ps in hand. Hot on her paws is the Nyx P, now accompanied by a quartet of minifactured drones.

Leveret let out another excited laugh and mainly followed Aria, raining small missiles on anything the Valkyr left behind, his Knux fists serving both as weapons and a way to push off from nearby walls and/or everything else as he rocketed past.

Rounds and flack slammed into the Itzal, stripping it of it shields within seconds. Streams of black smoked billowed through space off the archwing and its pilot. Svytoj blinked erratically across the battle field, the path towards the now blown open hanger now littered with black streaks of smoke from each successive blink.  Svytoj was quickly closing the gap to the hangar when one of his engines detonated, flack ripping through it and sending shrapnel spewing over the frost; the Now crippled Itzal in a tail spin, spirals of black smoke now pouring from the damaged archwing. Svytoj made one final blink, putting him just withing jumping distance of the entrance. He input one final command to his Itzal, and launched himself towards the opening.
The smoking Frost hurtled idly through space, is propulsion now gone. The Itzal continued it's spiral towards the tower, now thoroughly off course and away from the Frost. As it past one of the turrets, the Itzal discharged a small singularity; the last of it's reserves as it slammed into the ship. within seconds, the turret had been pulled from its moorings towards the black hole, only to be flung back towards the ship as the singularity violently decayed.
Svytoj was flung into the opening in the hangar, coming in much faster than anticipated. he slammed onto the landing pad hard, the blade of his redeemer sparking violently against the ground, The Frost desperately attempting to slow himself down. He slowly came to a stop on the landing pad. Black smoke, pock marks, dark fluid and bits of blue tissue showing through the armor of the Warframe. Svytoj stood, smoke billowing. He readied his Soma, surveying the area for his Allies and any Hierarchy forces that may have arrived as well.

Rose glanced over at the patchwork ship on her screen every now and then, but her attention was primarily focused on the two groups of tenno.

The Intruder looked over the displays one final time, the tapping of his foot stopping suddenly.
"I wanna know what this ground crew is up to. Lock in the coordinates of those void sigs." he said coldly. The patchwork ship lurched. Its target destination; the location of this so-called heir, the location Sarah, Marcus, Abigail, and J'Taav were searching.
The Intruder was desperate for a lead now, the chance to fight his quarrel on his own terms waning.

"That's fine. I just need to get this ship ahead of the convoy." Chegar said, trying to balance speed and stealth in his bid to get a ahead of the lead ship. "I just hope this shell is enough..."

The crew twiches slightly, toxic preservative spraying over the Frost's helmet and arm before finally stopping for good. The bridge members continue to press forward, making sure their plasma shots don't hit anything sensitive.

As Svytoj moves forward towards the captain, the woman follows in his shadow; timing her movements so that whenever the Frost blocks their field of vision she swoops in and yanks one into cover, jamming their retractable knife through their helmets' visors and following up with a highly audible neck snap, filling the air with the sounds of twisting metal and snapping bone. All the while, she deliberately keeps out of sight of the captain and other crew, way too well for a run of the mercenary.

In short order, the crew is reduced down to two operators and the captain themselves.

<IF YOU'RE SO KEEN TO STAY UNDETECTED, JUST USE THE FROST. IT'S BUILD FOR IT.>   A line of text crawled over the woman's HUD, obviously coming from the blue figure.
The Blue figure lobbed one of its' confiscated pistols to the Frost, both proceeding to shoot one of the remaining crewmen each. The one by the Figure took one in the chest. the other by the Frost took one through the jaw, exiting just shy of the spinal column.

The hangar doors are blown open, creating a gap large enough for a tenno in an archwing to slip through. The guns on the ship quickly swiveled around to begin firing on Mia and Aria.

Svytoj gunned the engines, bolting from his landing craft in a flash of green light, the Mantis breaking off and void masking before it could get hit. The Itzal blinked through the gun fire, dodging flack and artillery in a mad dash to get to the opening.
"{You two holding up out there? And where is our fourth guy?}"

"Civilian vessel, if you do not immediately proceed to evacuate the area, you will be presumed to be a hostile, and we will be forced to open fire." the voice said over the comms, not sounding the slightest bit rattled by the imminent tenno assault.

The carabus started mimicking the voice on the other end, only stopping its childish mockery when the Man at the console gave it a firm smack from the top.
"{Have it your way... but like I said: Vermilion paste.}" The man, The intruder, said over the Comms as he turned his ship back towards the planet below, making a slow, lazy orbit around Mars as he looked for something that may interest him.

"This can't be happening. They can't be serious." Marcus thought numbly, following behind the others. "I.... I can't just let them walk off with this... Heir...."

He continued to walk in silence, his mind spinning with the implications of what he'd just been told.

"I've got to stop them. I can't just let that kind of power fall into the hands of someone I bareli know."

Taking out Sarah and the grineer would be the obvious choice. He didn't know why Sarah wasn't in a warframe, but it would left her incredibly vulnerable. Marcus would take advantage of this. Besides, the two of them still had some pretty nasty weapons on them. The longer they were able to fire them, the worse his chances got. Abigail would be trickier, but if he could blind her before she could draw those regulator pistols, he reckoned he could take her down without much trouble. And the Constable..... well, Marcus didn't see what he'd be able to do with his hands bound and his weapons confiscated. Unless he tried to kick Marcus to death or something equally ridiculous, he'd try to avoid hurting him.

With his conscience weighing heavily on him, Marcus followed the others to their destination.

    .......................................................

"Kill Marcus, Sarah, and the Constable, but leave J'Taav alive. I have need of him." the thought came abruptly in Abigail's mind, but once there, she found herself unable to be rid of it. In fact, the more she thought about it the more it seemed like the logical thing to do.

Marcus would be her first target. Once Abigail got her shatter shield up, there was very little the others could do to harm her. The fact that he was in a warframe was troublesome, but a few rounds from her pistols would punch through it as if it were paper. Sarah had to go next - too many unknowns about her fighting capabilities. The Constable would be trivial, and from what Abigail knew of J'Taav, he didn't seem like the type to get his own hands dirty. She suspected that he would surrender quickly enough once the others were dead.

With her plan set, she eyed the others warily for any indication that they might have picked up on her intentions.

    ........................................................

The Constable worked furiously at his bonds, though to the others it would appear as if he cooperating with his captors. Fortunately, his bonds weren't terribly strong - some old rope from one of the nearby houses had been all they were able to secure on short notice. It wouldn't take long for him to break out of them. Once he was free, he'd try to take to disarm the kid. Once he had a weapon, he'd attempt to fight his way out. But in order to do that, he had to remain alive. And if they felt that he was leading them on a wild goosechase, the Constable had little doubt that they'd simply put a bullet through his head.

So for now he lead them to the Heir, plotting his escape.

    .........................................................

J'Taav smiled under his mask. Everything was going to plan.

Back at Deadwood, the skies began to darken as hundreds of grineer dropships descended upon the settlements. The second the soldiers they were carrying touched the ground, they began to indiscriminately fire upon the inhabitants, cutting down man, woman, and child alike. No quarter was given, no surrenders accepted.

The grineer had returned to protect their property.

As the patchwork soon appeared on Roses sensors. While his attention was still diverted, it would only be a matter of time before the Intruder noticed she was there.
In the meantime; the patchwork ship and its meager crew was scanning the surface.
"Looks like those Grineer are having more fun than us. I say we go down there and spoil their fun..."
"Curious. I'm detecting a Tenno Void signature on the surface. What are they doing there if they aren't hunting with your doppelganger? Should I set a course?"
The Intruder tapped his foot, his cloak swaying slightly as each tap reverberated up his spine.
