Svytoj eventually ran into a locked door, though it would not offer much resistance to a determined intruder. Behind it was the source of the music, still continuing in its melancholy tune. There was a strange blue-green light coming from under the door crack. Other than the music, however, there was no other noise.

Svytoj decided not to break through the door. instead, opting to give it a firm knock. After a few taps on the door, he waited to see what would happen.

After Acambria's yelling, more than a few of the fishers were looking back at Acambria. People heading down to the docks to watch the workers was clearly not a normal thing - especially not when they're dressed like Acambria was.

A few of the watchmen nearby were beginning to give Acambria odd looks as well.

Acambria ignored the odd looks, and approached on of the Fishers.
"How goes the trawling? Anything interesting?" he asked briskly, almost sounding friendly for once.

The song being played slowly began to change, becoming an oddly familiar sound. It repeated these 'music' for several 'verses' before returning to its original tune.

As the sound changed, Geordie grew increasingly nervous. The first 'verse' had barely finished by the time he turned and booked it down the alley. He ran around corners and ducked into side streets, hoping to make it out of earshot of the sound as well as escape the blue-cloaked man. After a while, he slowed down and leaned against a wall to catch his breath.

Svytoj shook his head, letting Geordie dash off down the alley-way. He walked away, his attention no refocused on the music. He marched over to the stairwell, and proceeded towards the sound.

No one volunteered to go with Ebony, considering that many of the crewmen has just fled the Bridge. At the mention of medical treatment, one of the crewmen pointed to a storage room on the other side of the crew quarters.

"That's... where we're keeping the injured." He said quietly, his hand shaking.

Chegar marched over to the injured crewmen, looking them over one by one once he entered the room.
"Alright. I'll make this quick." Chegar said, green sparks fluttering from his hands, a healing field of void energy rapping around each finger. He walked to each crew member, identifying the injuries, and with a flick of his wrist, each on began to dissolve back into intact, healthy tissue.

"Just thought I'd touch base." Svytoj said, keeping an eye on the tenno head of him. "Besides, with all the static around it, no-one would see it but you."

Even if we did, this ship is full of Infestation, which could infect anyone who lands here. That, and the Grineer fleet in orbit probably wouldn't plan on helping us."

"Well, there is one possible consolation." Chegar finally said. "I managed to get a transition out to friend of mine about 15 minutes before the grineer showed up. With any luck, she may notice my absence and send out a search party." Chegar looked around the room, the wheels in his mind spinning. "Still, I wouldn't hold out for that."

They keep hyekka masters specifically for that purpose. Obviously that won't help on this large a scale, especially since they're not exactly tenno-friendly, but it's something to keep in mind."

"Anyway, once we get that scan, we'll need to be ready for salvage missions. Everyone should get rest while they can."

Chegar watched as Ebony walked off.
"Alright... I'm gonna see if I can salvage any of these weapons." Chegar said, looking over the broken parts. "If anyone need immediate medical treatment, lead me too them." He looked back at where Ebony had disappeared to.

"How about... just don't break them?" Chegar said in exasperation, before pinching where the bridge of his nose would be.

Leveret continued pacing angrily as Efahz spoke. He cringed and stopped walking when Ebony crushed the weapons. "What the f-ck is wrong with you? Do you expect them to fight with fists?" he gestured towards the crewmen. "Stop breaking things for two seconds while we talk like civilized people."

He turned to the crewmen. "I have some ideas for possible food and weapons. As for Clogori and Big Ugly," he sighed, "I've got nothing."

    10 hours ago, Daakjenaar said:

"As okay as we were before, I guess. We still have wounded, and food supplies aren't great. Not only that, but 90% of the crew is dead, our employer just ran off with a person of mass destruction, and we still have no way of getting off of this Gaben-forsaken rock." Judging by the voice, the crewman that just spoke up was Efahz, who was walking toward the group while the rest of the crewmen watched.

"And now you're destroying the weapons we need to fight the Infested. Are you TRYING to get us all killed?" Efahz said angrily to Ebony after she crushed the rifles. "Everyone needs to put their weapons DOWN for a few minutes so we can figure this out!" He finished his rant, and stood there, staring down the Tenno.

he then turned to the rest of the party. "That said, she's right about one thing: focusing on getting off this rock." Chegar said, "I'll do what I can to repair some of these weapons. But UNTIL we get out of here, everyone in this room is kin: No crushing or shooting things unless they're Tarnas, Clogori, or the infested. Got it?"

"I saw that, too." Chegar replied. "I had to look pretty hard at it to even see the void signature. follow the EMF, and you should find the target."

Acambria wandered over to the shores, whistling and looking over the bobbing ships. with each odd look, Acambria gave a nonchalant acknowledgment.

Fortunately, the music provided an easy to follow trail in what otherwise would be an innavigable maze. Throughout the entirety of Svytoj's walk towards the source, the music never once ceased, always continuing. Eventually, Svytoj arrived upon a large, uninhabited complex meant to house eventual refugees. The music had grown much louder, now that he was outside the building it was being played in, and could easily be heard over the rain.

"Hey, Svy, I think I've got something."

It was a slum, full of particularly weary-looking refugees. There was still an incessant amount of anti-tenno propaganda, but this far from the center of power, the posters were old and faded, as if they hadn't been replaced in a very long time. Perhaps they simply didn't care what the people here thought, as they considered them temporary residents at best.

In the distance, just barely, a faint song could be heard. It was played with instruments used during the orokin era, and had no distinct ending or beginning, simply continuing onwards. The tune was melancholy in nature, and seemed to fit with Svytoj's current surroundings.

Svytoj cocked his head to listen to the song.

    <YEAH, SAME.> Came over Leveret's HUD.

    13 hours ago, Daakjenaar said:

Instead of waiting for another question, Clogori continued. He seemed very forthcoming with information now.

"I... should probably give you some context." Clogori remarked, giving a short sigh before continuing. "Tarnas was one of many test subjects involved in what I consider to be my life's work, also known as Project 'Telos'. I've been trying to meld Tenno and Infested to a previously impossible level. Hypothetically, not only would the strain be forced to rapidly evolve into something extremely fast-spreading and tough to survive the hostile environments of a Tenno ship and whatnot, but it's constant presence would allow it to form a bond with the subject."

Clogori removed his hat (Because Limbos can just do that) and started fidgeting with it while he spoke. After a pause, he continued.

"The hypothetical end-game is to replace all of a subject's Warframe with one that can handle Infested well, such as a Nidus. Now, this should result in a warrior that can fight uninhibited by injury pain, with the Infested influence altering their perception of that sensation, as you saw from Tarnas." Clogori sounded extremely proud of himself now. "Additionally, this Tenno would be able to do something we couldn't before thanks to the Infested,  that being actually going after Grineer and Corpus bases instead of being forced to fight reactionary. Imagine, one of my creations, walking into a Grineer mining station on their own, and walking out with the full crew turned by the Infested."

"Now, there were some... mistakes made. Some subjects... were lost. In fact, as far as I know, only Tarnas remains of the Telos subjects." Clogori admitted, sounding almost sad now. "Sadly, the mental effects of Infested influence drove most of them to insanity, and they had to be stopped from causing mass destruction to a Relay or a allied or neutral colony."

"Not impressed." Chegar said. "Most effects short of your mass infestation outbreak are easily attained through mental and physical conditioning. Not to mention, had these subjects had a support line, much of Tarnas's and Tavus's trauma could've been sorted out months in advance." he shifted his stance. "not to mention, we barely have any control over the Helmenth strain as it is. What makes you think this one is any more controllable? You've created a walking time bomb for everyone; not just the corpus and Grineer."

A guard accepted his papers, scrutinizing it very carefully. He scanned it quickly, and to his surprise, the light flashed green.

"This thing is practically an antique," he said, "I'm surprised its still valid."

Another guard accepted the severed head, seeming unsure how to react.

"We'll run an engineer over to assess the scope of the damages before we place it in drydock. In the meantime, you are allowed access to the main district. We will notify you when your repairs are done."

"Don't worry. I'll be sure to head there after I'm done here." Svytoj said calmly. He politely retrieved his papers from the guard, and proceeded inside.

"Excellent." Acambria said, retrieving his papers. "Pleasure doing business with you all." he said as he strutted off to the central district. Acambria began his approach, still clutching the severed warframe head. "Relax, people." he said, strutting down the loading ramp and dripping in his own blood. Efahz and the other newcomers were each trying to find bunks that still had blankets and matresses, a couple arguments breaking out among them. Even a couple of fistfights. They were all desperate to get even a few hours of sleep at this point, and most of them were now beyond rational thought.

Chegar lagged slightly behind the others, carefully watching the Limbo. His hand loomed over the grip of his nikana; even after everything Clogori had tried to explain before, he felt more at ease standing near Tarnas than following this Tenno.

In the distance, a melancholy tune began to play, carried by the wind, just barely audible over the rain.

    "Svytoj! SVYTOJ!"
The song slowly found its way into Svytoj's conscious mind, his eyes snapping open. He bolted up, clutching his head for a moment as his vision began to clear.
    "Wha...What the hell happened...?"
    "Svy! Are you alright?"
yeah...I think so. Where am i?
Chegar paused for a moment. "You're in Perennial." Chegar replied. "We're here to stop a warframe scrapping ring."
...Right. Svytoj finally stood up, still holding his papers. He surveyed the area round him, trying to get a fix on... everything.

"Head to landing platform one. Have your papers ready for inspection." someone new eventually said through Acambria's comms. Down on the city, the corresponding landing pad lit up, contrasting with the dark surroundings.

Acambria's patchwork ship quickly made land fall, touching down on the pad with a hearty clunk. The loading ramp lowered, revealing the bloodied old man looming inside. In his hand, a triangular prism; old and beaten to hell, but obviously still issued by the city god knows how long ago. In the man's other hand, the severed head of a Nidus.
And finally, over his shoulder, an large, glitchy looking wyrm with orange and gold sparks orbiting around it.

    Ebony's shoulders slumped slightly.

"It was a joke." she sighed, "I was talking about Clorogi when I was talking about not letting the- oh forget it, I'm not going to explain it to you. You will simply have to lament that you lack the proper wit to grasp the intricacies of my joke."

"You'll have to forgive me for not really feeling like cracking jokes." Chegar said somewhat absently.
((one sentence replies for the win...))

"I wasn't talking about the infested tenno," Ebony muttered under her breath.

Chegar looked at Ebony quizzically as he worked to repair the Frost in front of him.

Leveret nodded gratefully, rolling his shoulders.

He turned, tilting his head slightly at Ebony. "You don't? Then what do you mean?"

((sorry for the short replies recently, I'm home alone this week and adulting is hard))

"Not that we'll be getting a chance for this, but if you can, try to take it easy for a bit." Chegar said. "Healing powers or no, giving the affected area some time to adjust is always a good idea."

The checkpoint Svytoj neared had an unusually high concentration of guards. They eyed Svytoj as he neared, hands never straying far from burstons or truncheons.

Svytoj entered the checkpoint, readying his papers for whatever nearby scanners would be near by.

A sharp pain stabbed through Svytoj's head, and then silence. His ability to hear the messages being sent back and forth by various parties had been withdrawn.

But before he could do anything, intense pain flooded over his skull. He clutched his head, stumbled and collapsed.
"Svytoj?" Chegar Called out over the somatic link, but Svytoj was out Cold. "SVYTOJ!"

"Affirmative, Acambria, stand by for docking permissions," A bored-sounding voice said into his comms.

Acambria readied his ship for docking, waiting for ground control's commands.
    "<{ W̷͞el̷̀҉l̢.͜.͡. you̷'͏̧r̀̕e͞ ̶͟h҉̶er̵͠e̴̶ ̵̵n҉o̵̕ẁ̶͝,͞ ̧̀͘B̵ój̵̢an̸͝. ̕͟͞W̨h̡̢a̵͠t ̡̕nơ̧w̡̧͞?̸ }>" the fractured Cephalon at the console queried, disgruntled curiosity in his voice.
"You know damn well." Acambria replied. "Touch down, Start hunting." he continued as he stapled a large gash in his arm shut. "doesn't matter if it's TIN-MAN or Hierarchy."
    "<{ A̡҉͢n͏͡҉d́͢ ̛͞͝wh͠a̴̶̸t̢ ̨͘máḱ͡e̴s̀͡ ̛҉y̨o̴̧u̴̴ ̴͢͡s̷̀o ̕s͟͝u̧͞r͏e͢͠ ̧͞Sv͢y͘͏t͏̢o̵̸̢j҉̵͡ ̡w̴͟i͢͜l̷̴̛l̵ ̧̧b̢͟ȩ̨ h̵̢͝e͞re̕?̕ }>"
"You're not one for bluffing, Operandum; Galleon COMM chatter and void sigs are all over the place."Acambria said, returning to his console. "IF he isn't here, J'Taav and him must have had one hell of a falling out..."

"I'm sure Acambria would indeed love to join, had I not informed him that there have been recent sightings of you on mercury." J'Taav said, a small smile spreading across his face, "Some of my... friends... in the region will ensure that false trail doesn't go cold for some time."

"Farewell Svytoj. I hope you do not come to regret your choices today, though I fear you shall."

And With that, J'Taav began to walk off, the rain quickly obscuring him.

Guess we'll have to see...Svytoj thougth to himself, slightly sighing. He finally made his way to the edge of the refugee district. He readied his papers, the sparks fading away well before he would have reached any guard positions.

High above Uranus, above the city, a moderate sized, mess of a space craft dropped from punch. A man, his bloodied body only thinly veiled by his dark red cloak, sat at controls. Two sentinels busily swarmed around the ship.
Should J'Taav, or any of his comrades been listening in, a sharp radio signal would come crashing over their COMM lines.

"{Perennial Ground Control, This is Captain Acambria of the Vessel Vigilant Nomad. Permission to land for repairs and refueling.}"

"And here I was thinking that the return of the god-damn Orokin might hold your interest." J'Taav said, his cheerful fascade dropping, "But by all means, continue sulking like a child."

"I'll kill them on my own time, J'Taav." Svytoj said, still walking. "Go back to playing your great game. I'm sure Acambria would LOVE to join in." His cloak stained by the rain, he walked off, the sound of boots hitting the wet ground growing quieter.
"{I has been a long time...}" Chegars voice finally came over J'Taavs COMM system. "{we've been trying to gather more data, but the trails keep running cold. We even lost track of the Constable about 4, maybe 5 months back.}" Chegar paused, rechecking that he was on a secure line.
"{Svy will come around. between Acambria finally showing up and the Hierarchy... Well, You get the picture. OH! if you see Sar.--Um.. Ebony; if you see 'ebony', let 'er know were around.}"
"Chegar, stop playing the bright eyed child."
"{Someones gotta keep our bridges from burning, 'Bojan'.}"

"Your suspicion wounds me, Svytoj, but I shall cut to the chase. What do you know of the Heir?" J'Taav asked, staring off into the rain.

Svytoj opened his mouth to speak, but slowly closed it, still eyeing the grineer ahead of him.
"It's been over a year, J'Taav..." He said coldly.
    "Svytoj!"
"No." Svytoj replied, raising his hand as if Chegar was there. "I tired, Chegar. We've been Chasing our tails trying to glean anything..." He returned his attention to J'Taav. " All we know is that his 'Heir' is an entity of some symbolic or physical power that was previously under the custody of Captain Petrov, and was recently captured by the an Inquisition manufactured Tenno. Not to mention, It and the cryo-pod it was in was last seen by, to my knowledge, a man you conscripted. A man, mind you, that has been trying to Kill and/or possess me since I came out of cryo; A fact that you should obviously know given your preternatural amount of insight and researching." Thunder clapped loudly as Svytoj finished his tirade.
"Jesus..." Chegar said hushedly, his words bleeding softly over the somatic link.
"I'm going to the Refugee district; try to get some intel." Svytoj said. "Warframes are being lost by the day, and someone's gotta deal with it..."  With that, he turned to walk away.
