Only a few get the point it seems.

The DEvs should fix bugs, not have workarounds.

Sure it's a small thing. But, you know, if they can't fix small things, how about the bigger bugs which exist till now?

This is some really backwards logic, the bug is non game-breaking with a workaround which means it's basically at the bottom of their list of priorities when there is a whole slew of other things that could actually disrupt gameplay or cause a loss of progress, a minor annoyance won't take priority over that.

Also what you call a "small" bug could be far harder than just fixing a typo in the code somewhere, it's never as simple as just "fix it", saying they don't fix bugs is a ludicrous accusation when literally every update has at least half of the post being bug fixes.

  2. Yes, it makes perfect sense for people with infinite time that have to go through a popularity contest to produce nice looking gear, that's the whole point of Tennogen.

The entire dev team doesn't drop everything to work on a skin it's probably only a few people at most who are told what they have to do and are given a set time to do it along with a handful of other things. IMO the Deluxe skins at least to me look a lot nicer than most of the Tennogen ones because more time goes into them and DE has better technology than most of us.

The team produces quality work so I don't see why they even need to be compared, they're just skins in the game pick your preference.

exactly just nerf this combo WITH mirage and it's fine. Like mirage can't create the vortex with hall of mirrors and bam weapon stays decent and this combo goes rip.

That's not really sufficient though, Mirage herself needs the nerf or something else gets used instead, the Devs should have immediately realized how OP Hall of Mirrors was going to be so now any remotely good weapon (IE anything with AoE) gets exploited like this and people complain about it.

  4. Same as painting anything in that program, if you don't know how look up a tutorial for the program you're using itself instead of Tennogen and once you understand how it works move on to actually creating things. Depending on the program you're using the process could vary so I won't go into detail but if you're using a program that doesn't allow painting (some free ones don't) then you might need to get something like photoshop to do it.

Here is the texturing guide for it if you haven't already seen it, it's fairly self explanitory as far as the basics go so beyond that looking up tutorials on how to texture in general would probably help you more than anything until you have a basic understanding of the process.

  5. You can report players In-game by pressing ESC>Communication>Friends>Recent Players and then click on their name, the drop down menu has a report option which is useful since it avoids people spamming report against someone without reason or out of spite. You can also go to support and create a ticket to report someone.

I think that a dojo soundtrack would work really well, especially if they added it along with the musical bard warframe and had a music themed update. Also, I do wish that we were able to add resources to vaults *cough* Hema *cough*.

Would be neat too if they added some sort of mixer that allowed you to play recordings of your clan member's bards too, activate it like the drums or the bells and it will play the sample could make some interesting music I'm sure.

  7. Essentially this is a list of various ideas I have for additions to the dojo whether it be rooms, decorations, or mechanics, or even QoL improvements in general I'm putting it here, I might update the thread as I get new ideas if I have the time. I decided against putting this in feedback since it's mostly original ideas anyway with maybe a QoL or two sprinkled in so with that out of the way:

    1.)     Atmospheric emulator

    Spoiler

What this would do is emulate atmospheric effects already in game, could be the “Heavy Fog” effect from nightmare missions, The snow on those corpus tiles, the rain from grineer tiles, and even things like the atmosphere from those rooms filled with magma like the one before Kela’s boss room.

Obviously something like this would require a special permission beyond dojo builder to make sure it isn’t easily abused but being able to create an atmosphere for a room can make it much more pleasing to look at and could even add an extra layer of challenge to rooms like the obstacle course or the dueling arena.

The emulator would be accessed by upgrading the rooms terminal (all rooms have them so this seems to be the easiest way) upon which a new tab will be added to that room (locked behind permissions) that presents a list of the effects that can be applied they could even be implemented like the color palettes are and have players go out collecting “atmospheric samples” to unlock new atmosphere to be applied to any room.

The atmospheres will only apply to the room they’re applied to not the whole dojo.

    2.)     Evasion Training Room

    Spoiler

a new type of training room where players will be pitted against a group of sentry guns, similar to the obstacle course your survival without taking a hit will be timed and for every “x” seconds you survive a new sentry will be added. After a maximum number of sentries have been added (I’d imagine it wouldn’t be good to have this going on forever) their fire rate, magazine size, and reload speed will increase instead.

The sentries would be on both fixed and mobile platforms and there would be several moving wall pieces throughout the room, they wouldn’t provide very good cover but instead be useful as footing for wall jumping.

The session will end and the time will be recorded upon being hit once.

    3.)     Simulacrum

    Spoiler

     Simulacrum… but for the dojo…

    4.)     Private rooms

    Spoiler

Useful for things like clan decorating contests basically just a permission that sets “x” player as the only one allowed to place decorations in the room despite others possibly having the builder permission.

This would probably need some special permission to avoid abuse again but I think it could be a good feature.

    5.)     Resource addition to vaults

    Spoiler

Right now vaults only accept donations of credits… that’s kind of useless… more or less simply a request to add all resources to the list of things a vault can take so players can express their generosity in more meaningful ways, especially if they can’t be present for the construction of a room or some research but still want to contribute.

    6.)     Better logs

    Spoiler

some way to tell exactly who does what whether it be building a decoration or donating resources to research, just some way to tell who does what

Adding on to this idea maybe a lifetime donation page for higher ups in clans to see exactly what “x” player contributed, would make rewarding players with ranks a lot easier.

    7.)     Dojo Soundtrack

    Spoiler

let the founding warlord choose a track from the game that plays as ambience while in the dojo, if there isn’t one set it defaults to what it currently is, could be any sound track from the Infestation track to the Music from The Second Dream.

    8.)     Archwing Endless Trench Run

    Spoiler

the room will basically be a really long tunnel (not too long obviously, probably won’t be nearly as large as the obstacle course.) where the player can activate a terminal (like the obstacle course) to enter. While in the tunnel no matter how fast the player moves they will never get closer to the end, the objective is simply dodging walls and various other obstacles at high speed.

The course will gradually speed up as time passes and may present anything to narrow passages that wind up and down to laser traps shooting in random directions, players who are not actively participating will be able to climb up and spectate the player currently in the game (taking advantage of Archwing’s reduced scale)

The course will record “distance traveled” at the end of the run and there will be a dojo leaderboard for it.

    9.)     Buildable NPC “decorations”

    Spoiler

buildable ambient NPCs doing various actions like the ones in relays to make dojos feel a little less empty all the time even if you are alone.

    10.)     Arcade machines

    Spoiler

for games like Wyrmius and Happy Zephyr and any other possible future additions, would function the same as they normally do but would be available to everyone in the clan and would keep a leader board that displays upon defeat showing the top 10 highest scores, could even allow things like initials as the old arcade games had. Could also cost 25credits per game which would be added to the clan vault.

    11.)     Vault Practice

    Spoiler

A simplified version of spy missions with powers disabled, there would be no enemies but there would be patrolling drones, lasers, etc. the map would only generate upon starting and would be random each time. The goal is to activate (not hack) the terminal at the end without getting caught, if you do get spotted the simulation ends immediately.

Off to the side of the room there would be a small row of terminals for practicing the various types of hacking puzzles at different difficulties.

Clan leaderboards could be kept for fastest times, would be good for practicing spy missions especially since there are no weapons/powers since it seems a good portion of the community lacks that sort of skill and brings that lack into public matches.

    12.) Loadout Terminals

    Spoiler

Simple as it sounds, an arsenal decoration similar to the one in the simulacrum that would allow players to access and modify their loadout.

    13.) Spawn Markers

    Spoiler

A buildable decoration that marks where clan members can spawn, if there are none placed the dojo will return to its defaults, if there is only one placed players will spawn there 100% of the time, these would be limited to a certain number existing within the entire dojo rather than a single room since too many would be bad, good for making a first impression on new members or moving the existing spawns out of your placed decorations.

    14.) Forma Puzzles

    Spoiler

Clan members will be able to donate excess forma to a new room to draw a random piece of a puzzle. The piece drawn is RNG based with the chance of drawing a new piece increasing each time they fail to draw a new one, the chance resets after a new one is drawn. When a puzzle is complete the image it creates will be able to be used as a decoration in the dojo and will become available as a glyph to clan members who helped complete the puzzle (even if no new pieces were drawn as long as forma was contributed they get the glyph), If a new member/someone who didn't contribute wants it they can buy it from a terminal in the room for a cost of credits and forma.

Completely open to thoughts so feel free to share your oppinions on any of the ideas or add some of your own.

  8. Basically just like the teleporters we currently have but as an extra option we can add a "frequency" to them making then only function with teleporters on the same frequency. My main reason for asking for this is that I like organization and don't like the clutter of every single teleporter appearing on a drop down menu, Idealy this could be used, for example if I wanted:

1 teleporter on the global frequency connecting the spawn room to the oracle from there I could have 4 teleporters in the oracle room on a closed circuit frequency to allow movement to each of the research rooms each with only one option in their dropdown menu (Oracle - Research room and back) which would significantly reduce the clutter of having 4 options in the main UI for each of the individual rooms.

There could also be a permission system on the frequencies if for whatever reason you wanted to keep players out of a certain room (Like the Orokin Research room for me) you could lock the frequency to certain ranks and not have to worry about players stumbling onto a currently meaningless room and asking questions that they don't need to really worry about.

Could be something that just bugs me but I like to organize things like that and I think it could make things feel a lot neater.

  9. Except Archwing isn't the best and needs a lot of fixes before they go adding more, if you don't want opinions then look in the mirror, say you like Archwing and walk away so nobody hears you, don't post it on the forums in general discussion. If you wanted this to be somewhat useful instead of 85% of your post being about how you don't want hate you could have said what specifically you like about it and posted it in feedback where a dev could take that towards future work on the mode.

it's better to work for it than to buy it, but I see your point. however if players still needed to farm for the relics, one month wouldn't be enough time to get everything.

Working for it and buying it are one and the same (you can farm plat) this idea, however is terrible it would just destroy the value of everything and probably hurt DE in the long run with how long it will take to recover from that (Yes, DE actually makes indirect money from trading since someone has to be buying the plat to begin with). The unvaultings they have are far more lucrative for them considering they can re-release the accessories with them and by doing it slowly they don't wipe the market clean and create a sense of urgency since you know it's not going to be back for a while.
