  1. I'm rather put off by how much rolling of the dice it takes to get a particular weapon. If you truly insist on using the RNG mechanic here, can we at least influence what type of weapon the lich will spawn with by using that weapon on them? Because the devstream team did say the lich would be unique to us, its creator.

    Example: I use a Strun to down a Larvaling before using the interact button on them, there is now a higher chance to get a kuva drakgoon, kohm, etc.

    Merging duplicate kuva weapons is a good step, but continuing to get the same weapon over and over and over and over and over—ad nauseam is REALLY somber. Please understand that I do like this update, but this grind has got to take a different turn, please.

     

    While typing this I assume the question about balance will be asked, does that truly matter when everyone will arrive at the same percentage anyways? Though this is under the presumption that there is a cap to the elemental bonuses.

    Late reply, sorry. I'm not sure what might be causing that, but I was thinking it could be from them reducing the tether distance from you to the MOA. I find that my companions tend to stand around, get wounded or downed before they are ever so inclined to catch up.

    If these aren't of any help, at least I tried.

    How ever when it comes to fashion frame i cant use any of my tennogen skins and the new updated prime Rumblers at the same time. The Prime Rumblers are tied to the prime skin and so far the only way to enjoy them is to equip the "Atlas Prime skin".

    I would love to be able to use my custom skins with the Prime Rumblers but this would require a fix form DE to allow for it, maybe linking the old Rumblers look to the vanilla Atlas skin only?

    Is the bug only from my side or anyone else is getting it as well?

    I think they no longer hack spy vaults for you, which is a shame. I would prefer that they would make it an exception if the alarms were triggered, but have it work once per mission or on a very long cool-down.

    Neither of these work on MOAs, even though the max shield mods do.

    In the context of that post I thought you were saying they didn't have any that could be used on them. My bad, I was wrong. However, I'm sure it'll get one eventually. Though I don't understand why shields are important when Medi-Pet Kit and Odomedic exist since the latter heals you and the robotic companion (noticeably only the MOA, but that's probably a bug), unless they decide to patch that out. I understand that not everyone has the mod, or a Hildryn, but shields are just laughably paper thin at the moment, to me at least.

    You are fighting Vomvalysts right? Those are easiest for that riven challenge.

    I want to start this off with the premise that I think I understand two-tone energy. Isn't it supposed to be consistent across the casting of the ability and integrated into the ability itself with both of the aforementioned instances and not just one?

     

    I'm not too sure if this was an intended change but Mag's two-tone energy colors for her Magnetize and Polarize abilities don't appear to be functioning properly. The two-tone for her 2nd ability appears to only work inside of and not on the sphere itself, while on her 3rd, it only appears to utilize it on the lining of the field. Mags Pull and Crush abilities appear to be working, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

    Since it's sort of weird how you have this magnetic bubble and you get to see only a small portion of the dual energy at work, if it is intended, can it be changed to work on both instances of the ability instead of just the one?

     

    I noticed another bug, if you link an item and then a mod config, it breaks the first linked item. Like so:

    This also appears to happen with linking a weapon and then a corresponding riven. If multiple items are linked, all things prior to the riven mod will be unlinked.

    Hydroid's Undertow ability toggles off sprint when exiting the ability. This also happens with Wisp's Sol Gate. Throwing the fishing spear while having sprint toggled on causes the user to jog whilst moving until shift is pressed again.

     

    When downed and using Synoid Gammacor and presumably the regular variant, while firing and moving backwards without moving the mouse, the character will begin to rotate. This occurs both as a client and host.

    I would never intentionally say that you are discouraged from providing feedback. I read the thread at face value a couple of hours back before logging on and posting. Generally when I see these types of posts and the title "state of the game" I assume: content drought. Now I see it's more or less about having the same thing that is present now but with more arbitrary variables and rewards.

    Please read my post next time instead of manifesting assumed argument points. I did not argue against or for this "common practice" I merely stated the fact of the hypocrisy that I keep seeing when it comes to "content drought and me." Seemingly because the game (to you and whomever else) is lacking content, or the game is x/y/z, or it's not enough purple, because my favorite youtuber clickbaiter Content Creator said so.

     

    How about this: instead of fearing for the end times: go play or do something else and let the developers work on content at the speed that they are capable and not at the speed of which you and others' impatience runs?

    How can one both want challenge and an endgame but continuously seek out attempts to endlessly use meta to trivialize the content in question and allow for faster, subsequent runs?  The boredom you create for yourself is a fault that cannot be blamed at anyone else, not even the game. The developers can only raise the bar higher, but then if they do that, it is too hard. If they don't, they're catering to "casuals." and the game is supposedly starting to die if that happens. Forums in any place tend to be cannibalistic.

     

    But it is okay, I brought an umbrella, I knew the sky would be falling today, as it did in 2018. Fearmongering and doom-saying will never go out of fashion around here.

  12. An augment slot would be nice. You know what else would be nice? Having arcane helmets being used as arcanes instead of accessories that have stats tied to them like when we had distillers.

     

    But you know, when do we really get the things that would be nice?

    You originally need to buy the slot or earn it via Nightwave. You are given a couple of slots when starting and completing a quest. You get back your slot(s) when you empty the one being occupied by an item or companion and sell or consigned away respectively.

    Games have this tendency to overlook or refuse to value a players time. Saying that it shouldn't require 80 consecutive mission runs to unlock everything isn't asking for free stuff, it's asking them to realize that "hey, doing this the first couple of times was pretty cool, but on my 20th attempt, it's getting old." As many on the forum have already mentioned, we need additions (by killing or adding a multiplier to the mission per tier) to the base reward of doing the mission to reduce replay fatigue and incentive to just afk.

     

    This should be a game, not an exercise of patience.

    You are aware that you have to build the ephemera from the foundry, correct? It is given to you as a blueprint, not as a completed item.

    I don't disagree with you, but I just think it's either they fix low priority stuff and leave game breaking things in, or fix game breaking bugs and leave low priority stuff for the time being until they can get back to them.

    In either case, developers really can't win. The only thing we can hope is that they remember the things on that list, or we can just keep reminding them. Eventually something will happen, right?

    You may want to use more tact whilst trying to converse, to more adequately help your point across instead of saying that something is "bull crap". You can say that you are disappointed, that you hoped for something different, but insulting is a no go here.     The thread looks much better. Also gonna add this, every big update the development team generally release bug fixes alongside it. Please keep in mind that if they don't know about a bug, that it might not get fixed. Lastly, just because it wasn't fixed this time, doesn't mean it won't be fixed at all, I'm pretty sure they have a priority list for these types of things.

    Minor issue here: Having sprint toggled while using Wukong's abilities Cloud Walker and Defy causes sprint to toggle off and become a regular jog. It isn't affecting the UI or changing any settings that I can see, but is causing a noticeable difference in movement speed while in mission.

  20. While these are some fascinating propositions, I just don't like the entire "Mag abilities 2.0", however, the passive change mentioned in the post has piqued my interest. My personal opinions are that Mag's rework was pretty solid, the passive was...less desirable and her sprint speed is a gripe on its own.

    Parkour doesn't remove the feeling that Mag runs like a snail, despite looking thin.

    Agreed, and to a degree, Mag isn't even squishy, due to the fact that one could: 

    1. Remain inside the safety zone of the Magnetize bubble
    2. Spam CC
    3. Use Crush to get Overshields

     

    Hildryn is just different Mag.

    Public squads are okay when doing specific content like exterminate missions, but when it comes to seemingly more complicated tasks, I'd gather a specific squad from recruiting rather than just willy-nilly anybody. This is due to the fact that the people there are under no obligation to take orders, tasks, or even work in accordance with the squads' motives. Some may even purposefully sabotage or jeopardize the mission for the giggles.

     

    Spy sorties are a great example of this.
