Just name the scope for Nyx. What specifically can she do best than anyone else in order to be called into groups?

We can literally ask this question for each frame and get a lot of problems.

Or we can answer this question using weak things like:

    1) Nyx can not hack mobs on Razorback, skipping this mechanic.

    2) Nyx can cut armor and shields to opponents.

    3) Nyx can distract opponents by minimizing damage.

    4) Nyx can solo intercept while standing on a single point and controlling the entire map.

    5) Nyx this is the easiest frame to counter the nullifier dome.

But I don't think you will be satisfied with this, because the problem is not in the niche, but in the mechanics of Nyx.

Truth? I do not experience any problems with survival or damage to 200 levels. I don’t need more.
I'm worried about the warframe's disregard, ignoring the current meta for 4 years in a row. How long this can go on - I don’t know. We are not idiots. We change the idiotic abilities to the same idiotic ones and are not able to figure out our own game ... Does it work like that?

You are not the only one who ignores the meta and plays a broken frame that has received an "improvement" in its abilities in two changes, but nothing that solves the problem and no fixes for bugs that have existed for many years.

I'm saying that efficiency is not the best argument for this, because you are doing 200 levels - and this is effective in the eyes of the DE. Nyx also can't be effective in everything. The problem is that such a complaint can be interpreted as "Nyx has no place in the game" and DE can create this place, just one mission where we all take Nyx. But that doesn't solve the problem, right?

I don't see a problem with abilities being useless where they should be useless. I see the problem that abilities are useless where they might be useful or where they don't matter. For example, 1 Nyx ability, which has a high potential, but in fact there is no potential, because the captured enemy does not give anything for other abilities and almost always shoots at the wall doing 0 damage or runs around the map, giving 0 impact from the aura of the ancient healer. And you can't set a target, set behavior tactics (guard or follow the player) like you do with specter. This is where the problem is. We have a gameplay that doesn't work due to poor design. And this has nothing to do with how effective the frame is in certain places.

I am speaking to you as someone who has played Nyx for a long time, stop throwing words in the style of "Nyx is bad because Nyx is bad" or "Nyx is bad because Loki will make it better". This does not give any feedback. It is better to describe clear problems, otherwise there is a chance that you will be misunderstood and you will again get changes in abilities that you do not want.

    Everyone has their own scope.
Nyx using control, poor quality? Where is it in demand? On survival, which quietly goes with the "plague zo" up to 200 lvl?
Or ... run like a "sloooow creep" in assimilation? (Sorry for the pun. You can't run) Are you serious? Until the first meeting with the 0-field or ancient destroyer?

I went to "17" in a group with a misa. And went solo. And did more damage than the whole group, including the misa, about 80-90% of the damage. And this is only at the expense of zo!

My post is aimed specifically at the bad / not working abilities of the NYX! THIS IS IMPORTANT! REPAIR THEM AND I WILL NOT SPEND YOUR AND MY TIME AT THIS FORUM
The main evidence for my point of view is facts and personal experience. 2.5k hours in the game. 50% of the total time on this frame.
The refutation of your point of view is 1-2% using this warframe. People do not play on a NYX, because it is useless and not effective.

You just don't understand. There are only 4 frames that can be effective in the game - these are Mesa, Trinity, Rhino, and Volt. Play on normal missions without garbage conditions can be any frame. But, when you go to arbitration, hunting, or somewhere else, choose one of them or a narrowly focused frame that fits the task perfectly.

For Example, Frost. It's strong, it has good 3 and 4 abilities, but it's just not needed in normal content and in recent updates. But it is perfect for scarlet spear space missions because you can put up your barrier and go guard the ship. You don't even need to go back to the team if the barrier is destroyed, because any team member can upgrade it using the railjack tactic. It is ideal for ground-based scarlet spear because its 1 and 4 ability is perceived by sentient as different controls and have different adaptation timers + oplinks guard if your mesa is not sleeping. But you are not needed as frost before the scarlet spear.

The problem here is that mind control is not used anywhere as the main reason to take nyx. But it also doesn't change the fact that Nyx has very boring gameplay right now.

For nullifiers and ancient destroyers, try equilibrium and synth mods. As long as you kill, you will always have energy for 4 and spam 1-3 even in the conditions of energy leeches. Plus, now nullifiers are no longer the main cause of lethal damage to the player, because shieldgate is a thing.

I'd love to see an animation of titania skittering over the datapad as she (you) hack the console. Parazoning enemies could have fun/interesting animations in her archwing form (since it's so small).

I don't think it will be much different from skywing in the open world. There may be better animation of the wings, but nothing else is required.

  5. @Duality52 I know all the advantages of the current Lantern, but the problem is that in the reality of current content, you just don't need it. In fact, it has zero effectiveness for actual content, because you will kill crowds of enemies faster than you control them. This makes good sense for solo overlvl infinite missions, but most don't go to these levels. But there is also another limitation, namely, it is used on the enemy, which means that the ability will have zero effectiveness against invulnerable to the ability of enemies. I don't have anything against bosses, but the fact that it doesn't work on sentient annoys me. More precisely, it only works on 1 type of sentient, but with a reduced duration, but at the same time, the Lantern light effect itself is able to affect all sentients.

I don't think we need to subordinate enemies at all and it's better to leave that to frames that specialize in this, like Nyx or Revenant. It's just that this mechanic where you need to control one enemy to control the rest doesn't look good. (this looks good on Mag, but because Mag makes a magnetic shield with a ton of damage inside and complete isolation to damage from outside) Enemies almost never take the place of the maximum efficiency of the Lantern, and even harpoon guns do not contribute to the good work of this mechanics. Yes, it's a good CC, but it's not something that can be used at all outside of solo overlvl missions.

But that doesn't change the fact that you described a critical bug that needs to be fixed even though most people don't even know about it.

Any cases where you witness taking damage from your own Lantern's explosions due to this?

I think that not many people have watched this, because not many people use Lantern in the gameplay, because although the Lantern is a good CC, it still has a lot of disadvantages where it is really needed.

I suspect DE would be quite leery of letting Titania in razorwing equip wathever weapon she'd like for the following reasons: Kuva Bramma, Acceltra, Rivens, Acolite mods

Dex Pixia can kill faster (Yes, but not easier) than Kuva Bramma. Mobs 100 level get die for 1-2 ammo (trash mobs 600 level die for 1-2 ammo. These are my personal tests). Plus, you can actually install a arcane for pistols that will provide 100% ammo efficiency (infinite ammo for Dex Pixia), which actually means that you have a minigun in your hands. I don't think the force of arms matters here.

Sorry, delete what? ...Ah I think, I got it what you meant, like delete exalted weapon slots? and have Razorwing only be a movement skill that uses the same weapons that were equipped?

Well, keeping the option for equipping different weapons in Razorwing weapon slots, or equipping the same would be better ofc. Or perhaps even turn the "Razorwing melee" slot into a flex slot that would allow for melee or even another weapon to be switched on the fly? I don't really use Diwata, which in part is why I think its such a shame that great looking weapon is wasted on razorwing melee slot.

I don't think Dex Pixia would need a nerf per se, If they were made into signature weapons they might just keep the same interactions? like auto recharging ammo, maybe scaling with power strength while on Titania, or like you said have Razorwing provide a Damage Buff.

As for weapon variety, I would like more freedom here ofc like using Primaries or other options, but Dex Pixia uses secondary weapon mods, so while Razorwing is archwing equivalent, the weapons seem more like normal secondary and melee based on the mods. BTW I was trying to do Scarlet Spear with Titania in a solo match, and I just came with this idea:

I understand that perfectly. It's just that I don't really know what balance DE does, because they use some sort of stat generator and mr restriction. The truth is that Dex Pixia has Phaedra damage, which is an archwing weapon. And since archwing weapons are powerful (by numbers, not in real gameplay xD), if we use Dex Pixia as a normal secondary dual weapon, it might get a nerf. But personally, I don't see any problems in leaving the statistics as they are.

BTW I was trying to do Scarlet Spear with Titania in a solo match, and I just came with this idea:

    • How about making Titania able to hold/charge 3 and make herself the "Lantern"?

Enemies are hard to position properly, and in some instances you don't want enemies anywhere close to the objective or they must die as quickly as possible, like in Scarlet Spear and the OPLinks. And Titania can be made to be hard to kill, so having her beacon their attention can be preferable, distribute it with Razorflies.

Well, I only have one idea about this that I would like to see in the game.

To unite spellbind, lantern and a tribute to one ability: Titania spawns a floating beacon with a selected effect that has the aura of debuffing enemies or buffs of allies in a certain range. The beacon has an infinite duration, but opponents can destroy it. (beacon has a razorfly hitbox). Titania can interact with beacon (like volt with his shield) by picking up the beacon and dragging it to a new location. At the same time, when the beacon is in hand, the damage that Titania receives has a chance to damage the beacon .

In the free slot, insert the ability to control razorfly: pressing a key will create 1 razorfly, which will attack the target or execute an order. Each razorfly has a limited duration, but cannot be killed) Razorfly get synergy with beacon: Titania gives the command to razorfly to drag the beacon to Titania's current location. Direct visibility with the beacon is required.

Well, we have 1 free ability in this concept. But, something tells me that this will never happen with Titania, so it would be enough for me to just get razorwing to use a normal weapon.

  9. 3 hours ago, Antris said:
Can we have Dex Pixia and Diwata be signature weapons instead? Having the option to fly as a movement system is pretty nice, but being limited in weapon options hurt the skill. Variety is the name of the game!

    😉

I am glad that more and more people are of this opinion.

Maybe not delete, but as an option to disable it would be great. And a special skin for secondary weapons and melee in the form of Dex Pixia/Divata to suit your personal preferences. It's just that if Dex Pixia becomes a regular weapon, it can get a nerf that no one wants. But maybe razorwing weapon damage buff could solve this problem by giving the ability to play old razorwing to people who want it and the ability will get a big advantage in all game modes.

But I think it should be using archwing weapons, because it will be easy to balance because of how many archwing weapons there are now. But this again won't satisfy your desires about using Dex Pixia/Divata on other frames outside of the archgun call.

  10. Blitz tactics were always for OW. Just now, archwing has received a significant shift speed buff, but shift + space has been removed. Titania has never had shift + space, but she also got a shift buff, so she is now faster than before.

Previously, it was possible to pass for about 20 seconds without shamanism with Nidus.

  11. I am not a Valkyrie mainer, but I can say that the old hysteria that was based on duration was much better and more fun than it is now. At least you could have died because you didn't keep track of the timer. Now, you have turned on and gone without having to monitor anything other than energy, which may run out in a couple of hours.

With only needing to cast half its abilities to get all the buffs. I would take that anytime.

On paper, it sounds delicious. In fact, you will face the problem that opponents will block your sight to the Lantern, because the Lantern is designed to pull enemies together.

I would prefer that Titania doesn't have synergies to solve problems that actually need to be solved in the ability itself. We have already obtained a synergy for razorfly that doesn't actually solve anything, but only makes people think that they need all the buffs, when in fact only 50% DR is enough.

I just think it won't work without normal rework, because the abilities aren't initially designed for synergy. Another point, I think, if Titania, someday, maybe in the next 3 years, will get rework, then the mechanics of the Tribute itself should be completely reworked, including buffs. The wheel isn't that bad, the problem is in the mechanics themselves, because it's actually knocking over enemies and nothing more.

Well, again, that's not what I was talking about. In my case I emphasize that her mobility has much to do with the combat system, I'm not talking about going fast and saving some time in missions, I'm talking about her ability to stay up in the air shooting enemies that can barely hit her, which is an advantage that no warframe other than Hildryn has too. And guess what! Hildryn also has only one playstyle while hovering in the air, and that's the point of it.

Zephyr. Garyda. Wukong. Any frame with Aero Vantage.

No problem staying in the air. Visp can even stay in the air, gain its passive ability, and attack in melee, because it doesn't interrupt invisibility.

And Aegis storm is more of a mobile Bastille than a flight.

    5 hours ago, Greystrun said:

I suppose you do not use Razorwing Blitz, right?

I don't see the point. Up to level 500, mobs die in seconds.

However, mobs up to level 500 now die for 2 heavy attacks...

Wouldn't it be the same thing that goes for Titania? Ivara can only use a bow as her exalted weapon, I don't like bows, nor the investment you have to put on it, so this means it should be changed? Should it shoot a warhead to match 'popular' bows (Lenz and Bramma)?

No, not the same. Ivara can completely ignore her Exalted ability, because Artemis's bow is garbage if it doesn't use a fun augment. Ivara is in an even sadder position than Titania, but as I said, she can ignore this ability and take full advantage of invisibility.

    5 minutes ago, Greystrun said:
You know this is not the mobility I'm talking about, right? Yes, she can travel open world maps pretty fast, but she can also use the free height advantage that Razorwing provides to deal damage from a safe distance and avoid a lot of enemy attacks that are ground-based.

Yes, cool, I have high mobility in a tube of narrow corridors that represent 90% of the game. Yahoo.

DE had to fix the Aviator, removing collision damage and inertia to get people interested. And I see that people are more interested in the Wukong cloud than in razorwing, although razorwing is more mobile. Does mobility matter in the current game? Yes and no. On the one hand, people are trying to save 13 seconds on a quick mission. I don't know why, but it probably matters. I can only emphasize that this has nothing to do with the combat system. On the other hand, the rest of the missions encourage standing still, because mobs will still spawn around and go to you to die. You don't really need mobility in this case. Mobility can only be strong in ESO, where you can bomb all that little space alone, but it's very similar to what Rhino did with the whip, which was spinning around before Saryn got strong. I really don't think it matters.

Another point, the weapon restriction limits gameplay and playstyle. Now I have only one option. This put 150%+ strength, Arcane Pistoleer and Arcane Velocity and drive content into the ground up to level 500. But I can do that with normal strong weapon with no investment in frame and arcanes. However, the fact that I can be effective with one weapon doesn't negate the fact that limiting weapons is bad, because weapons are content too, and even weak weapons can bring a lot of fun, because we just don't need to drive 500 levels into the ground all the time. The same can be said about strong weapons. The fact that you will kill effectively will not change, but more importantly, how you will do it. Just ratata towards the enemies with rapid-fire pistols or patiently push on their heads with a sniper rifle, maybe blowing up everything around you or putting a full shot into each carcass with a shotgun. The same can be said about melee, because the animation of the blows will differ.

As for the balance, I really don't know what exactly can be balanced this way.

Also, while I won't say Balefirecharge is actually a great weapon, that's a really bad build you showed off in the vid. If you drop Augur Pact for Magnum force, swap 2 of the 60/60s for 90s, and replace the third with Anemic Agility and actually charge the shots, they'll do ~100k sustained dps which isn't terrible at all. Use the 2 90s to leverage what pathetic amount of status they will proc to viral, and you should be able to do significantly better with them.

I've tried this and it still turns out that it's still easier for me to use another weapon for a faster kill.

I tried arcane on crit chance, but it still looks bad compared to a lot of regular weapons. Even Ogris the most to gain from this. If there were Napalm for this Blaster, it might look like just an infinite version of Ogris, but it looks weak right now.

  16. I would suggest introducing special companions for archwing so that archwing gets new content and Titania can use this. For example, a special module that would use weapons like razorfly with the ability to spawn them after a while. This would solve many problems. This would look like Helios, which would use razorfly instead of parts.

Although, they could just shrink the sentinel by 4 times and pin it behind between the wings. In principle, dogs and cats may have movement problems, but sentinel is just pinned to a warframe, so there is no problem here.

  17. 1 minute ago, Greystrun said:
I think every ability needs some downsides, being able use normal weapons while in Razorwing would make Titania the ultimate warframe due to the possibilities she already has: durability, mobility, and able to deal damage from afar or from above. Her single targeted DPS with the "lacking" accuracy of Dex Pixia and questionable melee are said downsides.

Well, that would be true if all abilities had strengths and weaknesses. For example, Ivara could only use the Artemis bow when acting covertly.

There is another problem here, that in the old days, when the 70 level was quite high, Dex Pixia was very good even considering that it is not an AOE. But I still hated that weapon, even with all its power, because I just can't change weapons. When the game is based on level 30, you just don't need that power, but again, the weapon has a shooting style and razorwing only uses one. This is the first reason for my hatred.

But, then DE introduced this as exalted weapons, nerf characteristics and instead of mods for the main weapon, Dex Pixia has mods for secondary weapons. Plus, there are a lot of weapons that are significantly superior to the standard Dex Pixia, which requires a lot of investment in order to match the current level of the game. This is the second reason for my hatred.

There is a third reason for my hatred - it is energy drain just for the sake of high mobility and a weapon you don't want. High mobility in the game has not been a problem for a long time. Bulletjump, you know. Wukong and Titania just move a little faster. But energy drain is not a big problem. Not a problem for a normal game. But who the hell balanced the Conclave? 25 energy per caste and 10 energy per second for a maximum of 100 energy. Have you ever tried to kill a giant flying monkey in 7 seconds given that it can easily kill you and you need to use high mobility just to survive? And all this with weapons not very good rate of fire and damage. Here again, you can make a lot of comparisons with a normal weapon, which has about the same DPS, but is more situational to the player's playstyle.
