I have no problem with this. I don't get why everyone is so up in arms over it

Eximus units are already incredibly dangerous (being each faction's most dangerous unit that isn't a field boss or a special unit) due to spawning several levels higher than the rest of the enemies, being insanely durable (especially energy leech/parasitic and leech/sanguine units due to having 4x base health), being surprisingly common despite being essentially unit commanders, and they have incredibly nasty abilities that can stack:

    • Blitz: Ground Pound that can start a stunlock with other units
    • Energy Leech/Parasitic: Drain your energy
    • Arson/Caustic: Nullify fire damage and can do fire blasts that can start a stunlock with other units
    • Guardian: Powerful shields
    • Arctic: Nullify cold damage, radial cold procs, and obnoxious shield
    • Leech/Sanguine: Heals by inflicting damage
    • Shock: Nullify electic damage and projects shock procs that become damaging at close range
    • Venomous: Nullify toxin damage and project toxin procs that can quickly kill you

In the Devstream they even said invulnerable enemies were a bad idea, and even if this is not full invulnerability, in my opinion it's a cheap way to make the game harder.

Not to mention, Eximus units are already each factions' most dangerous unit that isn't a field boss or special unit since they are a fair bit higher leveled than standard mooks, have innate damage resistance, and 2 of them (Energy Leech/Parasitic and Leech/Sanguine) have 4x their base Health to make them tank units. That is without going into their ability sets.

MR means nothing, you can confirm this by rerolling stats on 2 identical riven mods but with different MR requirements

Which makes me wonder why there's an MR requirement on rivens when one get can an MR10 uber mod or an MR16 garbage mod

That's very unlikely seeing as in the Glast Gambit quest his blueprint is apparently "an ancient relic" probably from the early days of harnessing infestation in warframes. We know for a fact infestation is a vital part of creating warframes so it's more likely he was an early prototype that barely, if ever, saw the light of day.

And in the same fashion as some anime, the prototype is stronger than most of the production models for some reason

They've got higher crit chance than a lot of other melee weapons and can easily stack Berserker speed because of it.

Also, they're a unique fighting style. Unlike a few other melee types, their stances have actually been properly finished with multiple combos on every stance, so you can safely judge them on stances, unlike stuff like polearms/daggers etc which have garbage stances so you can only judge them on power.

Basically they're crit weapons that can be fun to use if you like the stances. The break-dancing stance for Sparring is particularly fun if you don't mind having no idea what you're doing.

Plus, you are punching (or kicking) things to death, I can not think of a manlier way to commit mass murder.

  6. How else would you balance a toggle cloak that gives you 2 loot rolls (3 if you have a Nekros on your team) and said cloak being on a Warframe that gets almost 750 energy off of Primed flow (highest of any non Prime frame, 2nd highest if you count primes)?

This is the worst kind of RNG I've ever seen. For what otherwise was a decent update, the riven mods kinda ruin it.

Yeah, it is pretty much RNGception since the following are RNG

    1. Drop rate (if you are doing Sorties to get them)
    2. Objective to unlock it
    3. Weapon it is for
    4. Stats
    5. Mastery Rank to equip it (the part I hate the most. what is the point of me unlocking a mod when I can't even use it? I'm almost MR11 and I need to be MR15 to use a Harpak mod that just gives it better zoom and recoil at the cost of crit damage when it has crit stats? Give me a break, that's bullS#&$.... Yes, I'm salty)

Really DE can you not just give us a good weapon without later nerfing it out of existence. please get it together, the community really is loosing faith in your poor choices. I love this game, please stop.

It's a base corrosive status weapon that can have a 100% proc chance with all 4 status mods on it. I don't have it (I do have the Lesion, another 100% status weapon with favorable damage types), but Corrosive + Radiation + Viral sounds stupid powerful even if scythes are somewhat lackluster. You act as if it is complete garbage because it can no longer use its projectile to exploit stealth melee multipliers from stealth or hard CC abilities. Just cus a weapon isn't overpowered doesn't mean it's dog S#&$.
