  1. I don't use specteres as I feel they are a waste of resources, but that is just my opinion. I was really hoping that they could give you a faction specific pet. Like a Grineer faction could give you the beastmaster armored Kubrow they have mentioned. A corpus faction could give you a type of quadruped proxy. So on and so forth. That is what I was hoping for. Hopefully down the line they could introduce an idea like this. Otherwise, the only things sounding really worth it for me would be the special mods.

  2. Agreed. This weapon was a neat idea, but it is so underwhelming that there is not point to use it other than mastery. Also since we can't ADS, the recoil of the weapon is so high that it is annoying to aim. Yeah there is the reduction mod, but we shouldn't be almost forced to use it. This is all my opinion as well, but this is really how I feel about this weapon. In the end, the small niche this weapon fills, can be easily fulfilled by a gorgon, or any other weapon that doesn't basically stop at a neat and unique idea.

  3. Sadly Firestorm is there for this, and whats even worse, you have to leave it out to maximize a gas build for the weapon. (I use it to massacre infested as I am sure other do) What would be nice is if it had an "aura" where we could put a mod such as this to alter the beam. But since I doubt that is how this will work, I am intrigued as to how these mods will end up working out.

  4. Things I have to say but I know people will flame and/or will be ignored. First off, the willingness to add more tutorials is smart. It will help explain to new players what they need to know, and that will keep them more involved with the game. Second, I voted for a few other bosses with more "unique" mechanics, but with Lephantis winning by such a huge margin, I have to amend my votes by saying that he is my favorite in the entire game. Sure Hek and Alad have some neat perspective, but Lephantis is just the best. It has two phases and while you can sadly power through them, the idea behind the fight mechanics is really good. I would love to see the Golem and MANY more bosses to come having phases like Lephantis, but make them in such a way that you can't just kill the boss in a matter of seconds. Third, Sigils. While the concept is cool since it will technically be introducing a faction that may be related to Proxy Wars, I think that they are hyped way more than they should be. While they are neat in the fact that we can truly customize where they go albeit the front and backs of our frames, I fear that they will be slowly implemented like the Kubow color packs, and that doesn't sit well with me at all. Fourth, Excalibur's changes look decent for now. I really would like Slash Dash to be looked at and maybe have melee weapons and the mods attached to them factor in to the damage output of the ability. Fifth, I am one of the few people that think the Tiberon is terrible. It looks fantastic visually but the stats on it are my real problem. First off you have to build it out of a current Latron AND a Forma. Afterwards you only get one polarity. On top of that it has basically no critical chance and essentially no status chance. Combining that with what you have to build it out of and you can see my big issue with this weapon. The weapon should have better stats than what you build it out of, period, and throwing a forma into the mix should make it even better. Now I am not saying this should be on the same tier as a prime weapon, but it does need to be better that the weapon you build it out of. Now I know some will say that it is now a burst rifle and that makes up for it's faults, but it doesn't. All I would like changed with the weapon is for it to have better crit and status chances so it could be a contender not only against the latron line, but with other burst weapons in the game as well. Lastly, the pets. I knew that one day the community would be asked on the idea of having a kubrow/cat hybrid, and this is simply $&*&*#(%&. Don't combine it with a currently existing animal in the game. If anything, make it it's own species. The only pet I voted for was Zanuka, because when proxy wars does come out, it would be a cool incentive to play for the Corpus. I also think it should be exclusive to people who fight for them, just as the Grineer and other factions should offer an exclusive pet. Otherwise all the other "pets" listed were just a horrible joke to please the people of this community that just want to see stupid lore-breaking things in the game. I know it isn't actually lore breaking with the fact that there isn't any real lore in the game, but having a T-rex is stupid, and frankly I feel all the other choices of this category are almost insulting. Do I have suggestions for other pets? No, I don't but that is because I am not going to sit here and create an idea that I know will be either ignored, or flamed by the rest of the community.

So that is a load off of my mind. I know everything I listed will be ignored or white knighted by someone, which is why I will not check back here. All I can hope for is that someone will read this and think about what my thoughts are, weather they agree or not, because after all it is just opinion. (But in all seriousness the Tiberon does need to be fixed)

Edit: While fixing some spelling spell check tried to tell me that Golem should be Google. Just thought I should share that.

I also forgot to mention that the invisibility on super jump is a dumb idea. We already have the ability twice in the game. We don't need it again.

  5. Concept art devstream showed a bunch of bows that they have conceptualized. Hopefully they do another, but I don't know how it would fit with the others since we already have a impact, slash, and technically two puncture bows. I would love one that can get a higher crit chance than dread (without putting critical delay on it of course.)

I wouldnt mind a tenno styled compound bow, I think that would be pretty cool.

The paris is a compound bow, so I would love to see a Yumi styled bow in the game and couple it with huge crit. This would be one of my favorite weapons, but they have to get it right.

Edit: As I wrote this someone posted the image, Number 5 is the Yumi style I would like in the game but not necessarily that exact concept.

  6. While you're at it, look at slash dash. It used to be a great power, and now it is bad. It would be a real shame if all his other abilities got re-worked and slash dash was left in the trash tier.

Edit: I don't have any real suggestions because I stopped playing Excalibur after he fell out of the practicality pool of warframes.

  7. This has got to be one of most radical ideas I have seen posted to these forums, but as it has been said, this frame concept follows no overarching theme at all. It feels like you just combined "OP" ideas from multiple frames and threw them into one idea. This would never, ever work with how you have listed these powers. Instantly kill and enemy regardless of level and it always works. That just throws any scrap of challenge that half heartily exists in this game down the drain. Now don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be totally rude or anything, but it just doesn't seem to well thought out. My suggestion is if you would like to concept a tanking frame that is better than Valkyr or Rhino, present it as an earth based frame, or something along that line of thought. As it seems now though, Zero is not only the name, but the amount of fun there would be left in this game if this was implemented exactly as you have presented it.

  8. So the real point to be made here is to buff the base armor of the aforementioned frames to help mitigate the damage from slash procs, toxic, etc, so you don't feel the reality of low health as much. Another option is to better increase the scaling if you put on the armor mod. In any case, direct health damaging procs can be a problem, but that isn't the fault of the shield mechanic in the game. It is really more of a fault of poor base armor ratings on frames with a less than desirable scaling on shields or health, and it should be something for DE to reconsider seeing as some of these frames aren't used as much as they used to be back before damage 2.0. This is all just opinion though, feel free to disagree, just don't be rude about it.

  9. Berserker, True Steel, Fury. Those three mods will do wonders on any melee weapon. Pick a stance, as they are both good. Then run the damage increasing mod. After that it is really up to you. I go for channeling efficiency ususally. You could totally add both the slash damage mods on, for I believe my buddy said he got somewhere between 800-1000 slash damage, but sadly I don't remember the actual number.

  10. It was mentioned in a devstream that they would look into ways to drop the time, weather it is an item you must craft to speed it up, or just lowering/removing it altogether. Hopefully it is the latter, although they didn't make it seem like it was as much of an option as having to craft an entirely separate item to speed it up. Hopefully it comes with U15, otherwise they will have to deal with the fallout of this topic all over again.

  11. 1. change or remove roflcoptering

Players often leave their teammates way behind because they have a very fast melee weapon to launch themselves forward. They run ahead and kill everything with their modded guns like they are pros or whatever, making teammates losing out on exp and not having fun. So either change this so that people won't be using it for mobility or just remove it entirely.

    No.

Yeah, but friends and clanmates aren't there to play with all the times. Solo is not fun to play alone and sometimes it's too hard.

    Adjust your strategy.

    1. You are crippling people's enjoyment by rushing ahead. Rushers that want to have fun should play solo. People that want to fight together should go at the same pace.

    2. Didn't I say people troll? I don't mind people going at their own paces, but some people just not going to do it.

Whether I am new here or not is not the issue. I don't even watch devstreams. Stop saying irrelevant things.

Don't get mad. People play how they want. Either adjust how you play to keep up, or adjust how you play to survive alone. Best bet is to play with your friends. As for people trolling, again play with friends or solo to avoid this. Also, its your choice to not watch devstreams, but complaining on things that you miss information on as a result is a fault on your end. Sure DE should post better re-caps, but they don't have to and that's why you should try to stay in the loop as best you can. Basically you are complaining because your play style is different to the community at large, and complaining about it here will get you no sympathy. I'm not trying to be rude, but you are so please stop.

  12. I don't care who it is, but the all the unprofessional sex jokes from a few hotfixes/updates back need to be stopped.

Edit: Its not that I don't find them funny or anything, but there are people who play the game who will be offended by these comments and they shouldn't have to suffer due to unprofessional behavior.

Edit 2: This is what I am referring to in my initial text.(The screen shot not the person who posted) https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/311669-update-1470-operation-gate-crash/?p=3529975

  13. First fact, first mistake. This is implied by the idea that Dark Sector and Warframe are related, but there is nowhere in the game you can find it written.

Minus the fact that the Devs have said that the two are 100% related. Therefore we can extrapolate lore from DS and apply it to Warframe where it fits.

  14. All the negativity in this thread from people saying the opposite of the OP is what makes me sick of the players in this community. There are great valid points here, and people just say that OP is butthurt, when really it is the people who say that who are truly butthurt. If you don't like what somebody is saying, then don't say anything. Let people have healthy discussions about it, rather than having to deal with morons flaming the thread because they are just flat out inferior players. Yeah, I said it. If you have a problem, then keep it to yourself, because flaming the thread benefits literally nobody.

With that out of the way, I totally 100% agree with OP. Cryotic was the most fun i have had since the first week of playing this grind fest of a game. It presented real challenge and real difficulty simply by playing the damn objective. None of this gimping yourself crap, just playing and going through gave the challenge. There was no grind to be had either. I mean only for the rewards but that's whatever. Gate Crash is flat out terrible. The idea for the mission was kind of cool, but the fact you have to do it 15 times, all the while you become weaker and weaker, while the opposite happens to your enemies was a bad idea. The rewards weren't great either. The mods are bad seeing as they are very situational to the weapon. The new weapon is even worse, and I won't waste words on it.

The main thing is this, we NEED the difficulty slider in the next update. There are no exceptions. This will keep the bads happy, with their Boltor Primes, and the Vets happy to play harder more challenging content.

  15. i dont agree really even that your theory is really good

all what i understand from "things" like vor is that they are there to provoke

whatever this provocations may be or sound like: im a tenno and i really dont care. i eliminate them, thats why im in warframe and this is what i do :-)

Its not exactly a personal theory as much as it is lore that you find out through playing the game. Anything beyond that could be a theory, but most of what was presented was actual lore taken right out of the game.

  16. We don't need a "Grineer Warframe" because it doesn't fit the lore at all. The Tenno existed long before the Grineer, sotrying to pull off the idea that they were always like that would be not only sorts of dumb, but lore breaking. This being said, it is an alright concept minus everything being damaged based. There isn't much utility, but it might work. I think instead of saying the Grineer made the frame, how about it being a frame that woke up and had to deal with the items immediately around him/her. What I mean is how about a survivalist kind of idea, where they can steal technology of whoever they are fighting and turn it into something the player can use for a short time. For instance, you kill a seeker and can now have the ability to throw out the little seeker balls. Kill a Corpus tech, and now you can deploy you own shield drone for a bit.

All I am saying is instead of making it strictly Grineer inspired, put a twist on it to make it seem more like a natural Tenno. Scavenge, adapt, and evolve, to become the ultimate killer. That's my two cents on the whole thing.

  17. You say this to prevent new players from getting strong weapons, but did you know that an MK-1 Braton with 5 forma is a very strong weapon? The point is that any weapon can be made great with forma, and that shouldn't be at the fault of a new player. Limiting a player to be forced to level so they can be on the level of late-game veterans is absurd. What you propose is the idea to force someone to get more weapons and frames than they may want, just so they can upgrade the ones they actually want. While I can understand what you mean by not wanting a Boltor prime to be given out easily, this is exactly why there are mastery locks in place. All they need to do is enforced them for a few more of the "OP" weapons and then everything will be fine.

  18. Have either of you bothered to look at the market prices? the only things of reasonable prices are the reactors and catalysts

and yes everything is easy enough to get. doesn't mean I should have to spend 20 dollars for a piece of crap item

Also like how you both posted before you would have even been a minute into the video. Try to actually listen to what people are saying and stop revering DE as the next coming of Jesus

Here why don't we give this an example. The new armor set costs 200 plat. You can buy Loki, Excalibur, and Volt for 75 plat. Then we can factor in with that price tag that there is an included warframe slot at 20 plat and a reactor at 20 plat as well. Therefore 40 of that 75 is spent on items needed to not only have the particular frame, but the item to use it more effectively. The point being that cosmetics are absurdly priced over something you are needed to have to play the game, meaning you have to use a frame and not necessarily the ones I have listed, is just plain ridiculous. Prices need to be tweaked to not only keep veteran players alive, but to keep new players interested in the game as well.

  19. I watched literally one minute of this and I totally agree. DE really needs to find a good balance between those of us who pay and those who don't. There are great points here and they need to be paid attention to if we all want Warframe to be as great as it can be.

Also going back to the whole PWE scare, this is exactly what will happen if our worst fears got confirmed.

  20.

I'm 100% sure on this. If I'm wrong, I will give up my Warframe account... again.

Speculation doesn't mean you are right. Prime access isn't a major content update, they never were. They also don't drop at the same time as a major update. Sounds like you're going to be disappointed because you tricked yourself into thinking something you have literally no proof of.
