  1. Well I do agree with how Ash's Bladestorm should have the choice to cancel ability upon demand.

    But I still believe that if majority of the players are salty over having to compete with him for affinity, you'll need to nerf Ember's WoF(make it a permanent burn casting skill with little dmg), Equinox's Maim (reduce dmg) and Frost's Avalanche(make it a petrify skill instead of an instant whiteout killing everything in it)

    Besides, Ash could easily still contribute to Radiation Sorties even if he didn't use Bladestorm. Build his 1 for dmg and at max energy efficiency, he can spam it to bleed the mobs to death without hitting friendlies. Teleport to mobs further away if shuriken is out of range. Smokescreen to avoid being targeted. Bladestorm is just another "Oh crap!" button should the team need it. Besides, you could have brought any other frame for such a sortie to avoid having this happen. Limbo's cataclysm helps you keep the target from being attacked too.

     

  2. Well they did announce they would be changing his stock to suit the amt. of ducats per player, just didn't realise they would give us false hope at the start. No wonder I thought the prices were rather high despite their announcement. Good thing I didn't buy that primed heated charge at the start lol

  3. Guys relax, I had the same issues but after a while everything went back to normal. It just takes a while to sync with Baro's arrival and change in inventory as what [DE]Rebecca mentioned moments ago

    Still, the numerous complaints bout the helmet design looking like a Kamen Rider reskin and the tiny syandana reinforces my view that the bundle isn't worth buying.

    Besides, while its design is unique, it doesn't even look anywhere as good as the original Nova Prime.

    Kinda thought those arms didn't belong either. They're probably look cooler on Nyx, especially when she stays in the bubble when casting Absorb.

  5. Well, if you're a youtuber and you wanna decorate your loadout or arsenal popup with fancy titles, then go ahead. 

    Otherwise, I'll disagree on there being such a need.

    Already, I can't even see the lengthier names of the players in my team when I enable the team health indicator to be on. No need for more distracting text to fill up the space on screen during all-out fights. 

    However, it'll be cool to allow for glyphs (see devstream 78) to like display your coveted titles when u use the glyph projector. Like a shining title, pulsing with electricity, under that Volt figurine glyph. 

     

     

     

  6. Wait just a moment, why is the Trinity deluxe skin pack in the lead? 

    Oberon's deluxe looks like he got splinters from headbutting a tree. Trinity Prime looks amazing and the deluxe for it isn't anywhere better than her gold trimmings.

    The only frame that needs the deluxe IMO is Banshee, seriously. Its the only skin in which she doesn't look too plain and plus, pulsing sigil and nice Sonicor design.

  7. Since the SoTR update, Phobos is now completely Corpus-run and Mars' levels of 8-13 are too low for Arid Eviscerators to spawn frequently unless in fissures/alerts.

    Can the admins tweak the levels on some Mars outposts to allow for an easier time hunting for Simaris' affinity esp. when I'm trying to get Heliocor and only have the Arid Eviscerators left to hit the target of 10.

    If there is something that I'm doing wrong, please do enlighten me. If u guys know of any mission nodes that spawn them consistently for e.g.

  8. Personally I would like it better when instead of becoming one of the doppelgangers, you stay as you are. It should continue to be a one-use ability.

    You only see your first attack animation and remain invulnerable for a limited duration (???secs).

    -Then, you are allowed to move out of the previously fixed AOE to mark enemies with Shuriken (limited to ??? times during this *buff*) which instead of dealing direct damage, they summon the Doppelgangers to attack (finisher damage and bleed proc.)

    - Seeking Shuriken (Augment mod) still applies during this mode when you cast Shuriken, but instead damage dealt is dependant on Bladestorm.

    -Max of (???) Doppelgangers attacking at any one time to limit its effectiveness.***  > For less spamming of (1) during this buff.  

    Think of it as a temporary god-mode buff (which Bladestorm currently is) but with greater control over your attack targets. 

     

     

    Also, its kinda lame. Thought he'll like churn up some erm... ash clouds to indicate his starting attack animation. (And not just stone there for that split sec)

    There should be a striking smoky effect during his casting of abilities, similar to the Stalker, so his name as Ash would be more appropriate.

    And yes I know the original plan was so that he could represent a locust plague upon pressing 4...as you can tell from bug designs in the frame (Scorpion and locust in the alt. helms' names) and errr... buggier mechanics yet.

    Problem here is: we don't wanna be just another bug amidst the many. We want to be THE BUG that wields the power of countless more bugs and to lord the power over the heads of our enemies.

     

    And yeah this post is pretty ambitious regarding the changes I proposed and I'm all good if this gets scrapped as just another crazy fanboy moment over another buff/nerf decision regarding a popular frame. But heck, we're all gamers right? We live for these fanboy moments; to revere creativity at its best and to share it with those that share our sentiments.

    Most importantly, please don't nerf Ash. Already, Ember and Frost Primes are crazy hard to get as an F2P, so Ash P has been my definition of a go-to frame for sorties. This is not a priority over the big content updates but well, for many others and myself...its my gateway there.

  9. Well true, I'll agree with most of the people commenting here that Bladestorm is BS (Heh.) at least in terms of animation as some of the attacks don't play out as nicely.

    Plus, maxed arcane strike and primed fury = slide show spam. But, I also believe Bladestorm should not be nerfed, just needs to be reworked.

    And yeah, I've always agreed that the other warframes' ult.s should be nerfed. I mean... balanced and plus a crap ton of other improvements that DE could have tossed up:

    >>Allow for the healing/damaging burst when equinox's mend/maim runs outta energy

    >>>Tweak the focus system cos its hard to "focus" on the main objective when u need to run elsewhere just to get a convergence orb and compete with maxed power str Ember primes/ maxed Atk speed Ashes for affinity during that 50+ secs to get affinity for focus skills. Esp. when some missions like interception needs players to space out to cap. the 4 points and not chase every mob u find. *I can't emphasise the irony in the naming of this system LOL*

    The main problem as I see it is not that Bladestorm is too spammable/ too powerful cos World on Fire/Avalanche etc... but rather, unlike the other abilities, it gets boring.

    I mean its kinda hard to afk for a few seconds just for Bladestorm to play out. (World on Fire still lets u use other abilities/ weps as its a channelled ability, Avalanche has a considerably shorter casting time) This is esp. true of Ash users when they accidentally press that cursed *4* while an Ancient Disrupter is in his AOE. Imo thats probably why they allowed for Ash's passive to cause bleed more easily, over a longer duration - less attack animations on same target.

  10. Hopefully I'll be able to get that scorn lacera skin when there is a continuation to this. 
    Couldn't really find teams to get to the round 20 def mission that weren't dying left-right when i was Mr5(IIRC?) during that event.

    Also, idk. Maybe the acolytes are pissed that Darvo is gonna put their tiny statuettes on sale? (Purely my own conjecture)

    Personally, kinda hoping for this :)

     

  11. Ok managed to find kuria 13-3 this time. Had to solo an rescue alert for the rare tileset to spawn at Ker, Ceres. For the guy that started out with the post, I suggest waiting for a Ceres alert(Higher chances of spawning). Every time it didn't spawn, I just aborted the mission and restarted it. got it on my 3rd try. Now for my last kuria 9-2...

    Good luck btw, I took so long cos I took a break from Kuria hunting after looking those hidden in the Grineer sealab tilesets...also looking for another rare tileset of the map to spawn. 

    All credits to: NKN1396's steam guide on kuria 13-3 and Getullio Benini's youtube vid.s on how to scale that @&$%#&! mountain range to get to it. Yeah it looks blackened cos the lighting kinda messed up at that height LOL.

  12. Some deception missions still appear as alerts, that I can confirm. And yeah, usually alerts like to feature the rarer tilesets.

    Personally I'm rather interested as to whether anyone else can confirm a good place to find the Kurias 13-2 and 13-3. 
    I'm only missing 13-3 and 9-2 as of now.

    (yeah some peeps aren't that big on the kuria finding so my prev. group kinda started the timer without waiting for me to scan kuria 13-3 after finding 13-2...)

    Was kinda hoping DE will make it as easy to find as the cephalon fragments in the SoTR update but I guess that's asking too much, esp. when other vet.s had spent dozens of missions running it.

  13. The bright side is that at least this curbed the problem of ppl backing out in void keysharing or using a different key just so they can keep leeching off other players.

    Plus, if there was an overabundance of ducats then I won't exactly be looking forwards to Baro especially since I won't miss any of the goods that he sells

  14. Oh and erm...those cephalon fragments that are to be scanned? I saw one behind a glass panel in a common corpus tileset for mobile def. (second floor) but can't figure how to open the door for the life of me. Any chance that u guys can make the locations more player friendly?

    If not, guess its gonna be condemned just like kuria 13-3 and the rest of the rare kurias in uranus underwater archwing maps. 

  15. Whelp, guessed bugs would be the first problem as with any new update. *sighs*

    -Stuck at the mission progress page after mission ends (any way to refresh this? cos I have to restart a few times cos of this)

    -Stuck in the Grineer breach topedo in Kiste's invasion against Corpus...the torpedo doesn't allow for me to enter the next area as intended...(failed a few times and had to abort cos of this)

    Things I didn't really understand: 

    -why make a fancy navigation screen when its harder to navigate between missions? (having to zoom in and out sometimes causes u to zoom into a blank spot lol)

    -Making void obsolete with implementation of the void fissure...well, guess the perks are easier to farm for (less grind) but farming for argon crystals is gonna suck when u don't get primes for doing it (more grind)

    -junctions...so more random grind (4 objectives per junction) while u hafta kill specters to move on...I don't see what was wrong with just clearing the assassination mission for a nav segment to move to the next planet.

    -the rotation of the archwing during fights gives me a headache but at least u guys got rid of the unpopular archwing def in neptune.

    p.s. I guess using the white and blue blips to differentiate between completed and incomplete mission nodes kinda failed when ppl don't take note of the slight difference in color between dots

  16. Seems to me, this is the only reason for anyone to buy the What Stalker? bundle. Just can't believe its 800p for 3 weps and like a color pallette. Didn't mind buying the hunhow gift bundle cos the accessories are awesome but wish I could say the same for the stalker's weapons bundle. 

    Also, I've never seen the Zanuka hunter nor got to kill Grustrag 3 before so at least the stalker spawns more commonly than the 2 other hunters combined.

    Did anyone even know about this free skin before it expired today??? Wonder who of the lucky ppl reading this alr got the skin.

    For me, I only saw this around the time that I'm posting this. Plus the news on steam wasn't really that significant as the hype was all about Lunaro.

    Kinda peeved at the moment for being on forums for quite a while and not seeing anyone talk bout this lol

  18. Yeah passing mechanics are B.S.

    Also, the movement speed seems dependant on chosen warframe. That's not really fair then; Loki can snatch up the ball and score before u can even jump.

    Otherwise, there should be a standardized speed for all frames. 

    Lastly, I felt that the syndicate points per match for all matches, not just Lunaro, should be increased. Not including the daily and weekly challenges of course. 

    Not just cos the lunaro armor is rather expensive...but also because it takes a while just to reach the limit on the syndicate affinity for conclave as compared to the other syndicates...
