As for your post, yes, DE still needs a lot of work to do in teaching new players that they don't need to pay for anything except cosmetics and slots.
Also explain to new comers how MODS WORK, this drive me crazy when I started.

I only hunted Eidolons solo, till the tri-squadolons came out.
My suggestion is simple: Do the Eidolon Hunt Solo, yes, even with the worst amp is possible, it will take you a lot of time, but once you get the tier 1 amp, it lowers the harsh difficulty.
By tier 2 amp, it becomes a walk in the park, tier 3 amp is not even necessary, but it helps / sometimes...
Here is my Build:
Trinity Prime max duration build + Sniper rifle of your choice (better if you have a good riven for it) + Strong Secondary weapon to quickly take down random mobs / lures.
Use the little teralysts to replenish your energy, keep using your 4th if lures keep getting hurt. Simply use the sniper to quickly take down the limb spots. Since you are using a crappy amp, you really need to take down the joints asap or the little ones will refill that big dude.
To be honest, I don't care about meta Lanka, I always go with Rubico cause I always liked the look of this sniper rifle, also cause I have a riven for it.
OR if you are rich in resources / only if you are rich on resources.
Here is my other build:
Chroma Max Power Strength, Max Duration + Sniper rifle of your choice (Rivens are good) + Strong Secondary + Pizza pods cause you have enough resources to waste.
The tactic is using pizza pods to replenish your energy + health if you take 2 much damage / amp damage.
[ Believe it or not, I collected enough resources without even playing warframe. I downloaded the warframe app and just keep making my extractors work for me (Favorite planets for extractors are Venus, Uranus and Kuva Fortress). ]
Now as for the gameplay, the plan is lowering the hp of the Eidolon shield low enough to almost pop. Then you will run away quickly to get a lure, come back, pop his shield and the lure will stop it from running away. If your chroma build is good, you might be able to use a single lure for 2 shield pops before the eidolon kills it. And for the final pop, just get all tree lures, pop his last shield and chroma damage the living daylights out of him.
Easy hunts.

I also want to do Conclave standing, but I am also avoiding it for how unbalanced it is.
And Lunaro is a wasteland (I don't even know how to play it, manage to join ONCE, ONLY ONCE and I didn't know what to do).

SpoilerSince The Lotus is dumping on us, I no longer care for the Tenno faction.
I say we leave the Tenno Faction and start to work with the Corpus, at least they do know how to make a Profit.
Also robots, who doesn't want a robot army and awesome tech weaponry.
[ If that is out of the question, I will just stick with the Perrin Sequence for now. ]

You are not alone OP, I started playing warframe when Loki was a starter warframe (later replaced with Volt).
By then I believe parkour still wasn't a thing and I stop playing it after a couple of minutes, I believe it was just another simple / boring FPS.
Only for a few years later to hear it changed a lot in a good way, also thanks to TB Warframe Relapse Review Video.

I already dislike the Riven System (even if I own over 50+ Rivens, I never said I had self control).
I can't stand the Rolls and yet I keep rolling only to get awful stats and stay with Meh stats cause I got tired of rolling a riven mod.
Adding Rivens to Warframes will make me want to quit and it will brake many build I already have. Not to mention making strong warframes even more broken than they already have, just look at Inaros with Umbra Mods, disgusting.

[ Sorties are not my definition of a fun clan activity and there is hardly anything left to do but to farm Kuva for the broken riven roll system. ]
When I heard about the kingpin system first announcement on a devstream, I was seriously interested to know more about it, to the point I left my old clan for a more active clan.
I am still waiting for it...

You are right, the game will get stale, I mean, there is NOTHING we can do against the sentients with our OTHER OP / META warframes (*cough* Chroma *cough*). So we have nothing left to do but to play with Excal Umbra.
Also there are NO mods that can help us against the sentient faction.
Oh..... Right.
Not to mention We CAN'T USE these mods on other warframes.

I may be in the minority here, but I just don't like the idea of more Umbra warframes...
Sure Excal Umbra was made for the people who can't buy the Excal Prime anymore, but that is about it.
We already have our Prime Variants, there is no need to make / introduce more Umbras, they will be nothing more than Mr. Fodder (or turn Primes into Mr. Fodder) since they don't change much (the only thing new was the passive on Umbra Excal and that is about it).
I believe resources should be better spend on making new Warframes (No reskins) or on creating new Factions to keep the game fresh, we could use a new intelligent Alien race or even a Pure Robot faction that doesn't rely on the Corpus or anyone at all.
[ Maybe even give the infested a new makeover? Seriously they are supposed to be scary and they only make me laugh. Even the Flood from Halo looks more menacing. ]

Since we are talking about cool armor pieces, Modders have a look at some ideas for the pieces.
This chest piece is dope and is small and the shoulders are awesome, for the legs could be a version of the shoulders.
[ I am not telling to copy paste the pictures, it's just for ideas, the spikes could look different / better looking and the chest piece could have a special effect like dripping energy. ]
Shoulders / chest and legs with ammo packs (like the ones we pick up but better), also kind of mercenary style. For warframes like Mesa that love to use guns.
Idea for the shoulder pieces to be cool looking rags, it doesn't have to be just solid armor (they could be sold solo shoulders like the Naberus pieces), just think of this on Umbra with his already amazing scarf. It will make him look even better.

Annoying tests are useful in that they are causing people to look up and learn how to solve the missions. Buuut... I'm also learning how to solve this style of mission. A lesser known fact is that many players will complain about tests that aren't suited to their play style. So learning about it is a good thing.
I'll be taking this test later today, and I really really dislike Spy missions. I don't want to cheese it, but I have learned how I can cheese future Spy missions, which may make my life easier.
Just use the Rakta Dark Dagger + Enemy detection.
Ez Mr Mission. Seriously, that thing helped me not get detected multiple times from a distance.
