There's a bug that turns eggs into nav co-ordinates for some players. No idea why some players are affected and others aren't.
Verified it while doing a run with a friend of mine. My screen, nav co-ordinate, on their screen it was an egg.
Seriously? Is that a thing? *Sighs* Well, I give up then. Gotten plenty of Ruk-ing Nav's...

Well just a quick question im so confused on how to even start the quest i just killed captain vor (i was mastery 7 prior it was fun tho lol) and now i dont know where to go next
Fossa, Venus.
-
I don't honestly know why the eggs are so rare, but got mine on the first run without going for it intentionally. Was just doing some missions I left undone before the update. Best of luck though on going for it, even though I got the egg easy, the segment for the incubation of said egg is difficult for me :l
Segment quest is started on Fossa Venus, then you go to Elares Jupiter.

Been farming for around 12 hours at least. No luck for me.
-
At least 40 runs, still don't have an egg, still don't even know if they drop from dens or from the Kubrows themselves. And I hate killing Kubrows and destroying dens. Makes me feel just a tiny bit bad.
-
Oh, and I've used Nekros to Desecrate as well. So no luck.
-
I've had to have done like 40 missions hunting for one of these eggs and have gotten nothing. I've farmed both Kubrows and dens and gotten nothing. So there's that...
-
Whose Prova do I have to polish to get a Kubrow egg to drop? Sheesh. Are these things just THAT rare or am I an edge case? Cuz I hate being an edge case...

I would also like to say that I do enjoy bringing my Ignis to endgame for 3 reasons. 1. Spray and pray. You don't have to aim. You just wave your mouse and you can clear out the enemies. 2. Corrosive+Blast means that you're either going to proc a knockdown or kill armor whenever you spray something. Very handy. Also goes well with trying to circle around a gunner, because, again, you don't need to aim. 3. Heavy Caliber has nothing but positive effects on this weapon. Seriously. If you have Heavy Caliber maxed out, this is THE perfect weapon to put it on. Also handy for putting all your status chance mods on to get more knockdowns. Put a maxed or 6 rank Rifle Ammo Mutation on and you're golden.
-
Personally, I always run with Corrosive/Blast combo. It's a decent all around build and can be run easily as full damage or full status depending on what I'm using and what I'm wanting to do.
-
Oh, I'm aware of that, but they boost damage in a way that's more interesting and weapon-specific than "arbitrarily increases damage per bullet." Also, Ammo Drum doesn't really boost anything. :p
It boosts your ability to sustain damage, however is pointless somewhat when you have ammo mutation mods

For every person that gets a good run for an item, there's another that gets a terrible run for the item. Maybe I was lucky, but I got my stuff relatively easy. And this comes from someone who is very rarely ever lucky with anything. Loki wasn't as bad of a grind for me. However, I also realize that there are others who get bummed over.

Have you ever used a maxed out shotgun? They are not wanting for damage.
Shotguns should be high risk, high reward. In most games, they are not. Warframe is similar. but my statement still stands. They have a paltry damage increase compared to rifles and pistols which shoot ACROSS ROOMS and rifles and pistols generally have more fire rate. Shotguns, while fun and still viable, aren't really all that high reward. They're still fun. I still enjoy them. But most of the time, you're just better off bringing a decent rifle to a fight rather than having to get close to a heavy gunner and still need to shoot them 2-5 times before they drop (depending on weapon and enemy level.)

There needs to be a balance pass on a lot of mods. Between mods like Anti-Toxin, Split Chamber and Shocking touch having odd numbers compared to what would actually be helpful, it's a little disconcerting. Our damage mods should be pretty similar in strength across the board. Split Chamber should give at least 100% multishot, if not 120% like pistols. I personally think that Point Blank could use either a buff or more upgrade ticks. (90% damage? Really? Even with Blaze you max out at 120% while Pistols get a 200%+ damage boost and Rifles are near that number as well.)
I really get the point that Shocking Touch is kind of silly when you look at other mods that cost less for the same amount of damage and then some. It needs to be buffed. -
I'm pretty fond of the idea for "hits" instead of "HP" for shielding skills such as Iron Skin AND Snowglobe, and possibly for Decoy and Molt as well. Scaling increases with these while not being overpowered. Means that dodging is actually a good tactic whether you're low level or high level playing because both offer the same advantages. Also means that using Melee as Rhino is a little easier. Which is always a bonus.

If it crashed, it shouldn't have.
Crashes and failures don't consume keys.
I may have miscounted or some such, but I thought I had 16 this morning, it was my first run, and now I'm at 15. Either way, meh. Crash was bad enough. Lost all my affinity, lost all my progress. Just... complete waste of time.
-
And of course it eats my key as well. *Slow clap* Ruk my life.

At almost 50 minutes into a T1 Survival, plenty of frickin' life support all around, a Nekros and a Loki and a Rhino Prime (me) all doing fantastic jobs at keeping each other alive, getting some kills near the end, activating life supports that had been saved. And my game crashes. At like 48 minutes. We could have gone to 60. I just... Are you RUKING KIDDING ME. GAH.
Just needed to vent a little. Stupid game lockups. I mean come on, I have 16 gigs of ram. Just... Ugh. -
Personally, I think it would be okay, but only under one condition. They add a new key. Assassinations. All are classified as T4 and rather than facing some new boss or some such, instead it's a ramped up, Orokin controlled warframe and whoever you defeat is the parts you get. Keys would be labeled by the Warframe in them, so a T4 Rhino Prime Assassination key would grant you a guaranteed Rhino Prime part, a T4 Nyx Prime Assassination key would grant you a Nyx Prime part, etc.

Actually, odds are that it was more of a reference to Magnum condoms, the Magnus being the closest pun towards that. Reasoning behind this is that Redtext was being unusually dirty with his/her comments today.
-
What the Hek do I have to do in order to get these puns to Ruking stop?

I like to mix up the weapons I use. And honestly, I don't care if I do the most or the least amount of damage. So long as I'm having fun, what does it matter? As long as I can zen out, enjoy my game and just relax, I don't care what happens within the game. If I'm toting a Burston and Joe comes in with a Soma and wrecks everything, what does it matter to me? Less work for me to worry about.
-
So, I tried out Cleaving Whirlwind, and I have to say, I really like this stance mod. Very fun to play with. The spin attack's finishing animation is pretty hilarious. I didn't know that Tenno could get dizzy. And using it on the Gram just screams Garen from League of Legends. Demaciaaaa!

Vauban as bad tier? The blasphemy, sir, is palpable. He should be at least Advanced, if not High Tier. Though his abilities may not strictly work as they do in PVE while in PVP, he is still a very good Warframe.

Maybe Sniper Rifles could get a buff only against "Large" enemies or "Commanders". Grineer Elites (Heavy Gunner, Commander, Ancients, Corpus Techs, etc) rather than global buffs. This way the sniper rifle is a better sort of niche, end game weapon taking out heavy targets with single shots rather than being used on the rabble. That's what pistols and melee are for.
