    Well that's only half the problem. The other half that doesn't want to leave get screwed over big in this setup. Individual extraction is the best solution so that everybody comes out happy/on top.

    From a gamer perspective, we only perceive that as getting in the way. A developer may look at it as engaging gameplay. Maybe it helps us become more invested and attached to our decision. 

    I'm sure they have books and courses they've studied in the subject. 

    This I get. Limiting the amount of Rivens I can have I do not. Currently there isn't even enough slots to account for all of my most used weapons as I use a different set with every frame and Prime variant. It doesn't even make sense in that it's a loss of money on there end. More plat bought to spend on new slots and plat bought to acquire more Rivens.

    Again this. Playing efficiently feels like work and is very restrictive. I'm here to have fun. The other angle of this that removes fun from uAirs argument is his encouragement of speeding up the gameplay. That mindset is why it's optimal fun to play exterminates, captures, and rescues solo. As playing in a group your going to get a rusher/ruiner.

    Maybe not yours but all of mine are fully formaed up with their own second copies of damage and Primed mods on top of Rivens.  They are more effective than they are given credit for around here. Well except Deconstructor/Prime obviously. He needs a Primed Fury :(

  7. I thought they did have this? I know for sure I've been knocked out of running fissures and though I lost everything only to get a message from Lotus a bit later/relogging in saying I lost these and it was everything I had selected as rewards. Is this not a thing now?

    @Valiant   Thing is, meta weapons don't need Rivens to function perfectly fine at the Flood/Sortie 3 level.   Actually, most are fine beyond that without a Riven.    It would be interesting to see the stats on missions on how many players actually player past the hour/60 wave mark, I suspect it isn't that many.   At least for me, I don't play past Sortie 3/Flood level unless, and I am starting to think they are figments of my imagination, Council Challenge events (they exist right?).  So aside from a few meta's that I like, the remaining slots are for exactly fun and interesting weapon Rivens.   Ones that transform weaker weapons.   No sense in wasting space on weapons for firepower I will likely never need.  And if I do need it, I have held on to a few meta Rivens.

    You may not care about meta weapon rivens but that is not the case for all. I've seen far more people only go after/desire them. Any time I unveil a meta weapon riven it's pay day as what Valiant pointed out is true. You can get a nice chunk of plat out of them. Even more if you feel like $&*^ing with rolling them into good stats. Then the prices can get insane.

    I agree that we need way more slots.

    When I first started playing I thought that this was a glitch. Always figured Toxin damage should only bypass shields on a proc but nope. Just makes for an easy mode against Corpus.

Calling them something like "summon-able weapons" or "energy weapons" would make more sense than lumping them together based on just 1 name. We don't call those types of weapons "Artemis weapons" just because Ivara has an Artemis Bow or "Hysteria weapons" because of Valkyr. DE really should just give them an official name at this point.

    I don't know this logic reminds me of people who get upset when we refer other planets natural satellites as moons then cite that Moon is just the name given to Earths satellite.

  13. No. Never had a problem running Sorties or hour long MOT without Corrosive Projection. As stated by several others in this thread it's situational in that it's only useful in higher level Grineer and that's only if all 4 players have it. I use Auras on my frames that match their theme usually. Sprint Boost on Volt, Steel Charge on Excalibur, Dead Eye on Ash, Loot Detector on Loki, so on etc.

    ive seen a lot of newer players been forced to sit and watch after all their lives are expended, most of them give up and leave the game. i've also been forced out of games that i didnt want to leave yet just because two other players did so i was hoping someone would know about DE bringing this up or not. 

    Hope so. It's an issue that gets brought up every few weeks or so that does need to be addressed. We have all been on both sides of this so a solution would be greatly welcomed.

    Having 60ish weapons with 4 or more Forma on them in each weapon category I can say thus far you hit the nail on the head and that's without Rivens. Many weapons mentioned here work fine in sorties and 40-60 minute MOT after you Forma them out.
