  1. I just wanted to express my thanks for the developers attention to detail that led to automatic joining of doors - I was hoping (but didn't expect it to work) that when I placed small gardens on the side entrances of the grandest hall that they would join up and allow you to walk through...and they do!

OK - maybe not the most earth shattering revelation for many people, but it's made this Tenno very happy :-)...I can now continue with my Dojo redesign and the trading floor will have interconnected gardens to stroll through

    Hey guys,

This seems to be a bug that keeps creeping up on us. We put in some changes here and there not too long ago to help remedy the issue on a performance level. With recent reports our investigations continue! In the meantime, we have removed the Lua Spy mission from Sorties.

    Thanks for reporting!

I'd like to confirm that the bug I reported (which, incidentally seems to have been moved from its original thread in Xbox One bugs/Missions to this one; not sure how that happened, wasn't me guv ;-) ) happened on a regular Lua spy mission.I can also confirm a poster's comment above about the missing void rift on completing room A leaving you with a long trek back from the console.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback and responses :-)

  3. I noticed today that the hanging huge ornament in the past at the start of the Lua spy room C (musical challenge) has vanished, but reappears when you shoot the support to make it drop.

Where I expected to see the large hanging ornament there was none, however, if you shoot the circular support as before it appears and falls, opening up the hole below as expected.

And then you can proceed as before....

  4. Maybe it's a matter of broadcasting your intentions - if you want to get the mission over with as fast as possible let people know before we spend the time running as fast as we can to keep up, missing interesting (to us) side avenues and possible pickups. Just because you can burn through the mission without a thought doesn't mean that level 4 Excalibur in the squad wants to.

I have no interest in nerfing or amending the gameplay to prevent AoE death machines (goodness I quite enjoy a blast myself from time to time, but only solo), but please don't let ennui ruin the enjoyment for less well equipped or levelled players .

  5. My experiences so far:

Nidus can go into the infested room on the orbiter and get 'poked' -  a cyst then grows and 7 days later is matured and can either a) be drained whilst starting a kubrow incubation or b) go back to the infested room and get it removed. Either way a new cyst starts growing Unsure about the veracity of this statement...so far my Nidus doesn't show signs of a new cyst after having it removed.

Update : My Nidus, after receiving the cure, shows no sign of any further growths after several days. The frame can enter the infested room, but there is no interaction available with the chair.

All other warframes gain a cyst by playing missions with another infected player and coming into contact with them. This cyst can be drained (as above) after which it will return, or the warframe can enter the infested room and be poked to have it removed. This inoculates the frame from any further infection and also prevents it from entering the infested room in future.

    HTH

  6. I would also like to add my +1 to this; not only in NA but Europe as well - I've noticed an upsurge in basically infantile chat posts. I try and answer people's questions in region chat (if I can, that is!), but puerile postings really do detract from the newcomers' experience in my view.

Perhaps [DE]Kickbot can get an upgrade :-)

I prefer faster weapons; of the ones I actually have, the best ones seem to be the Venka Prime and the Tipedo. Venka Prime has better overall damage thanks to slightly superior damage stats and it's modified Melee Combo Counter, while the Tipedo has better Range and Attack Speed. I'll probably stick with the Venka Prime, but I remember Tipedo being really good once upon a time, so I'm throwing it out there for consideration.

The big problem is how to mod it. My first thought is Body Count, Blood Rush, Berserker, Pressure Point,  Jagged Edge, Spoiled Strike, True Steel, and Organ Shatter. However, that setup doesn't have any elemental damage. Would that be a bad thing? If so, what would I pull for the elemental damage, and what element should I go for? If I try to cover the weapon's weaknesses, a combination of Corrosive and Magnetic seems like it would be good, but it would take 4 slots, and possibly a few dual-stat mods.

Anyway, as you can tell, I'm pretty lost on the weapon, so that's my main section of interest. However, I don't mind input on the Frame build, hence the reason I included it.

May I recommend the Hirudo? Very fast, mod for crit and best of all it restores health. I use Brutal Tide, Primed Pressure Point, Blood Rush, Body Count, Organ Shatter (and a vis=cious frost just to use up the points :-) ). Not even put a catalyst on it yet and it's a beast.

I'm currently trying out a max armour build - dropped rage out of the mix but experimenting with Steel Fiber and Armored Agility,Narrow Minded and Transient Fortitude and blind Rage....initial experiments are encouraging, if extremely rapid :-)

    I recommend maxing four syndicates.

It's slightly less efficient than maxing three syndicates, but you'll be targeted by hitsquads less often and you'll have a greater variety of syndicate goods to sell.

I'd say both the left or right are equally profitable, choose whichever you prefer, SM + CS = left, RV + NL = right.

Fully support this - I've now got Red Veil, New Loka, Steel Meridian and Perrin Sequence at max which gives access to pretty much most things I want...mind you the Arbiters and Cephalon hate me (a lot!)

If any XBOX1 folk from Arbiters or Cephalon want to trade ( ;-) ) drop me a line in game lol (same name as here)

  9. Sadly I have to agree - I actually like playing the Index mode, but with the hefty price tag of losing it makes it really hard to keep coming back to it. I'm more than happy to try different strategies and frames etc. but at these prices? I can't afford to experiment or practice if I then have to spend the next week or so of real time farming credits....

    Sorry.

Oooo - I'm always on the lookout for fun new ways to cause mayhem! Would you mind sharing the Lecta build? Also, would it work for Lacera?  Scratch that - I've tried it with the Lecta and it doesn't have the same initial area effect. Off to get a Lecta....

    TIA

  11. I created my own solo dojo and enjoyed doing it immensely. Rather than focusing on the grind I took it on as a long(ish) term project that I could do at my own pace. I was initially wary of spending forma as they were quite hard to come by, but now they drop from relics it's a lot less of an issue. My layout is pretty basic (main hall, all research labs, an oriental garden, trading post, random trees, teleports between key areas as I'm lazy :-) ) but it's home :-)

The main thing to remember is once resources are committed you have used them - you can destroy rooms and re-use the resources to build other stuff in the dojo, but you can't take it back. If you're happy with that commitment then crack on I say :-)

  12. If you like the strun then you might want to look at the sybaris or grinlok....not multi-pellet, but two bullets at once. Has quite a decent amount of stopping power but a bit more medium to long range.

For bows I have a fondness for the Mutalist Cernos with its toxin clouds :-)

Secondary - for high damage the Kulstar delivers, but be prepared for blowing yourself up if used up close! Lex prime as mentioned is also good

Melee - have you tried any of the polearms? Orthos (or Orthos Prime), Tonbo

  13. Additional tip...for Endurance Drift if you have Ivara and the Infiltrate augment mod you can just literally prowl, jump on the trigger pad (which deactivates prowl), jump off, re-activate prowl and jump back on the pad and then just stand there. The lasers don't harm you and you can just watch the water tower fill up.

Also, I think to meet the Sedna junction requirements it just needs to be 3 drift mods (not different ones) as I'm sure I got Power Drift twice and it counted...I have no hard evidence to support this however, just my memory :-)
