Edit: Just imagine the circumstances were flipped. Kuva Survival had been the only way to get Kuva and DE just now added Siphons. However, extended Kuva Survival was still by far the faster way to farm Kuva. Would you not want DE to balance out the Kuva drops?

    scaling isnt the solution though

Except survivals give you gradually less survival towers as time goes on, so kuva survival, even if it had its base amount increased, is still linearly less efficient over time than siphons.

It needs to scale, there is no way around it.

this mode ONLY has to be a viable alternative. and at 250-275 kuva per tower you would have that.

perhaps i hate the ceres tiles for kuva farming cause its always in some weird back corner of the map you had no idea was there. so instead of playing ceres nodes i could go to the kuva fort surv and get roughly the same kuva amount as if i had been slamming my face into walls to get kuva off ceres.

Ramping rewards also causes problems for PuG match making where people will want to stay longer and longer. Yea i enjoy sitting in survivals for 90 minutes or more. i find it relaxing and calming. Sometimes  i dont feel like spending more than 15 minutes and would rather do something else. Sometimes you change your mind after the mission starts and when PUG-ing this is how you get griefers and trolls.

"oh you wanted this LS for kuva? thats a shame id like to leave" *activates LS* "i hope you enjoy reduced kuva farming"

Thats how it always plays out in PUGs. While i admit WF community is more considerate, it is slowly slipping.

Usually, i'm by De's side, but this time i'm not, red text was...a bit incoerent.

"we know reading is hard / reading is hard / but you probably didn't even read thateither"

A little reminder, before the endless kuva update was released, a lot of players, in other topics(even inside the official "endless kuva topic", told/recommended/yelled at De
"PLS! kuva reward scaling / scaling kuva / make the kuva scale alongside the enemy level etc etc"...but still no kuva scaling after all those topics....
de didn't even mentioned about "we know you want kuva scaling, we're working on it", i think you either didn't read what players  wrote.

what can we say?..mm i think " you probably didn't even read that either".

i know a lot of players can be reeeeally frustrating, and i thank De for all its patient, but this thime, they were a bit incoerent.

kuva scaling isnt the solution though so why would they add it?

Care to elaborate on that point? Really easy to disagree and say nothing.

    ok lets elaborate shall we?

Firstly, DE apologized for the error on their end. They also said they are working on a fix for it. And lastly they stated theyd run a script to reward people the kuva they should have gotten.

This thread in particular was about DE exhibiting their frustrations at a large portion of their player base for its inability to read.

Here comes you, a prime example of this portion of previous mentioned player base, "no its not right i want my kuva". And just like i previously mentioned that DE ALSO mentioned they are working on a fix.

You are literally the person redtext was talking about. Not only validating the actions and frustrations, but youre also proving that perhaps DE in the future should just say "too bad so sad" and move on with their day instead of doing right after fixing the bug.

The Warframe community is highly efficient, we gravitate to which grind rewards us for our time most. In it's current state the kuva survival isn't worth it. I would humbly suggest DE increase the mission difficulty from the start and give increasing amounts of kuva per harvester. This way everyone who can't put the time into doing the long endless runs can still do siphons and floods and those who want to try and bulk kuva but spend more of their time doing so. I think typing it out in detail here will take quite long but that's just a suggestion.

increasing per siphon isnt the solution. a flat increase with no ramp so its equatable to doing siphons is the solution. you cant just make one method obsolete. you need to balance them at the very least so they feel similar and equally viable for time spent to rewards

  6. The struggle between not making siphon/flood dead content was to make a new content that dies in a few days after everyone realizes its not a viable alternative to existing methods.

    DE made dead content.

It really should have been equatable to siphon gains on a per minute in mission spent type of thing.

  7. In my experience with 2 lengthy burnouts, stop playing and force yourself to take a break before you burnout. If you wait til you burnout you may not come back and each break lasts twice as long.

The game isnt going anywhere so play something else for a few weeks. wait to come back until you have a really strong burning desire to play again. If you come back too soon youll just burn out in a few days again.

My longest burnout was over a year long, i didnt play but i still followed the news sorta.

Not saying that Loki is my only warframe, I have them all, i rotate playing them all.

That itself is the essence of stealth, the very definition, not to be detected, how does the game fall short in this aspect? Your talking about one enemy and a shotgun, what about a group of enemies? Once they see a slain ally, detection, or if they catch a glimpse of you, detected.

look, i just dont see this as a stealth game because the risk/reward is completely absent. I loved playing all the elder scrolls as a stealth class, its incredibly fun. Thief was a fun game too. WF just isnt set up for it

Ohhhh the Shadow does hide me my friend, but i disagree that stealth is all but useless. Loki is my go to for most of everything, as an experienced player my preferred play-style to slice and slide through enemies without consequence. It both cuts down the risk of failure and time of completion in missions.

conversely i main frost nidus and banshee and know every tile inside and out and have no issues hacking. But none of that is related to stealth. DEs original vision was the quickness and speed of ninjas rather than their ability to hide.

Other than using a loki to cheese spy puzzles there really isnt any stealth in the game at all. Unless of course you take the effort to bow hunt the entire map.

as far as stealth works in the game its just having not yet been detected. you can run up to an enemy and blast em in the face with a shot gun and still not be detected. Being invisible just doesnt equate to stealth in this game. Sure you can avoid detection easier, but you could just run past enemies all the same free of consequence (excluding the actual spy puzzle room)
