  1. Depending on how civil you are and transparent about the issue support may give you back the part. My friend sold it on accident when he was a super noob like a year ago or more. Well he purposefully sold it cause he needed credits and wasnt paying attention.

Few weeks ago he decides to make chroma and lo and behold hes missing a part. He respectfully and trasparently contacted support and laid out the problem and as a one time favor support credited him the part.

People forget these support people are PEOPLE. If you go in making demands with a sour attitude your response will be "sorry cant help" *ticket closed*

And no support wont ban you for asking. It may take up to a week for a response these days. They can also track your accounts history so they can see if you sold it, accident or not.

Who told you that bold lie?  There is nothing wrong at all with maining a frame if you really like it.  Any frame can handle the Star chart and Sorties.  Once you find the frame that you really like, then don't be afraid or ashamed to use it how ever you want.

I have mained Ivara for a little over two years and still going strong.  This is not to say that I don't use other frames sometimes to change things up.  You don't have to specialize in one frame like I did, but you can always use the frame that you become the most comfortable with.

its not a lie, some frames just do better in some instances than others. you can have a favorite and use other frames, its not forbidden.

i mean i love nidus and frost but youre crazy if you think im not taking a loki into a spy

  3. I feel like if your having issues with frost it might be something youve got going on in your mods. cause it sounds like frost is exactly what youre looking for. Hes super survivable (???) and his ability to slow enemies by 97% cannot be overlooked plus with the same CC modding you can clear rooms. Let me get some pictures of my current builds...

I would also recommend nidus. However he can be difficult to get going as he like exponentially ramps up in dmg and survivability  as you build mutation stacks.

So these are my frost builds. For build A and B assume im using Zenurik for the energy gains and Build C i use with Madurai. With Frost you generally want to build hp and armor because armor and pwr str affect globe health. and with the augment ice wave impendance you add an AoE slow to the ground that stacks with globe for a 97% slow. these slows also affect bosses so they stop jumping around.

Edit: i should also mention that power strength is good for two reasons with avalanche. Firstly it simply adds more damage, and secondly avalanche strips enemy armor by a % that scales on power strength.

My second build (B) is more of a support/utility role frost for map lockdown and doesnt output the same damage as build A.

Edit: and an edit here that by having less str im not killing the enemies as fast with avalanche but i could increase ability duration as well and they would stay frozen longer. Since you mentioned you dont have those corrupted mods in Build A you could always add more shields, and in build B instead of over extended add duration.

Build C is still experimental as im not quite happy with some of the sacrifices ive made. In order to make a rage build viable on frost you need to have less armor. This is because rage gives energy on the damage you take after damage reductions from armor have been accounted for. I also removed streamline because i was hoping that efficiency is irrelevant if i take enough damage. Issues are frost still has tons of armor, low energy pool, and a lot of shields that need to be bypassed.

Zephyr is actually another good frame for survivability, at least as far as corpus/grineer go, because turbulence basically mitigates all projectile damage while your ult (tornados) are also a really solid CC.

Hydroid is another good beefier frame too. Tidal wave augment (forgetting name) clears status effects from you which is a super useful trait and his puddle augment heals you while in the puddle. While he has good CC and damage he is still somewhat outshined in those departments by frames like Frost. His ability to heal also should not be understated.

Banshee has the best CC in the game. And its not soundquake. But she is much squishier and is more of a support/utility role in a team composition. 10/10 for banshee though.

Chroma is another amazing frame. It might be best to read what he can do from the wiki because depending on his energy color he behaves somewhat different. Youll have a hard time finding a more versatile frame and tank than chroma. He has no real decent CC other than he kills things fast.

Night equinox can be fun as well. Night equinox is all about CC while Day equinox is all about damage. Squishy frame however.

If you have more questions feel free to ask ill reply as i can.

If there are players willing to spend outrageous amount of Platinum for a mod, it is their choice and not forced (there were players selling Ember Prime for 1500 - 2500 Platinum about two years ago and that was before Riven mods).

[ The problem is with the players who are willing to purchase and sell items at high prices, not the Developers.]

selling is selling, not buying. I could sell you a sack of potatoes for 6 grand. you could pay six grand for my potatoes or look elsewhere for potatoes that are being sold for a reasonable price.

At the end of the day this is a community policing issue and not something DE should have to worry about. The whole reason we have issues with black market plat in the first place is the greed of these players.

  5. 26 minutes ago, RistN said:

You simply can't show it that way.Only DE sells platinum for real money but platinum itself can be earned by trading and without spending real money on it.So only way you could represent platinum like real money is if players were able to sell their platinum for real money which is ofc something that will never be allowed.

except you can still equate it to real money because its tied to a real world value. If you had bought that plat from DE it would cost money. that plat isnt devalued simply because a player owns it. And the fact that items in the store have plat values which only rarely change which are also linked to that real world value, the traded plat still carries the same weight and purchasing power.

So people who are getting scammed, and laughably so, for selling a riven for 200$ are also having their account ransomed back to them for a real world amount.

Just because i hand you a 5$ bill doesnt devalue it because you didnt acquire it from your employer.

Dude, this is a shooter-LOOTER game. The loot is one of the most important aspects of this game. Imagine playing Borderlands 2 without all the loot? The reward, the sense of compensation is one of the most important aspects of the game and that's one thing DE has consistently giving a blind eye to.

One small example as to how misguided DE is regarding this: its a looter game, right? Looting the thousands of tiny stuff from the ground should not be a chore right? But one of the Devs said De won't ever give us univac simply because "he doesn't want to". What DE did instead was adding a "mini univac" THAT DOESN"T WORK! you can only notice it working if you are aiming a gun and literally 1m away from whatever the heck you want to get.

Then they crack their heads to make "pets 2.0" because people rarely use pets as their go-to companion. WOW, WHAT A SURPRISE!

    shooter looter?

this is hack and slash with guns. Get to hacking and slashing. Loots are just a bonus

Sorry if this was confusing, but I didn't assume 1m is default range.

In the maths I made the assumption that default range is 3m. The way of expressing 'default range' in the maths is '1.0' because that's how Warframe's other stats appear to be managed and calculated. Another mathematician might use 'x' or 'y'.

and that makes more sense. my struggle is i know calculus but i never knew algebra... LOL

Exactly, but... without the math we can't figure out why adding 165% range with a mod doesn't actually give us an extra 165% range... which is what had confused me from the start.

you would need to find out exactly what that base range is then cause 1m by default doesnt work for most of the weapons. im no mathmagician but you seem to be trying to solve for two variables without the rest of the information

  9. i think its inherently based off of the weapons length where max length is from warframe to the furthest point out on the weapon during an attack.

As such polearms already have a longer reach than a skana and wont need as much range modding (otherwise it looks ridiculous and immersion breaking).

Once weapons got more elaborate i think its now based of of weapon class (sword, scythe, greatsword etc) than it is the weapon itself.

I worked this out ages ago in my head without numbers cause to hell with math.

So your calculations might need to accommodate weapon length, not that i checked your math cause to hell with math.
