So, we all know how the gammacor is... Less than a useful secondary. When I first got it, I thought it was an amazing weapon because of how cool it was... Until I found how absolutely useless it was. Boasting a base damage of magnetic, this weapon is completely useless without intensive elemental damage modding. So, how could this weapon become more useful?

I'd say the gammacor could use either a minor rework or an augment that allows for the use of an alternative firing mode called "overload blast," in which a large chunk of the gammacor's ammo is used, but a large AOE burst is released from this tripple-point mining laser. This blast has a 50% chance of stripping enemy shields and does 65 magnetic damage to enemies in range(maybe 5-9meters).

This alternative firing would make for a glorious finishing touch on a weapon that, though looks awesome, belongs in either a toilet or dumpster on it's own.

The Gammacor is a beast. I have no idea what you're talking about.

In addition to what others have said already, I wouldn't get my expectations  too high about buffs to MR 0 weapons.

Out of the ones you listed, Fang Prime seems like it has the best chances to me.  Partly because it's a prime and has a reputation as the worst one  in the game. But mostly because I expect dual daggers as a class will see big improvements.

MR0 Primaries/Secondaries got buffed and their MR changed. That's not really a valid excuse, friend.

Well ok. Scratch gear. Give me Tau system mr25^Locked.

How about you get off your high horse and stop being an elitist? The only reason anyone would want this is because they want to feel special or exalted above others. News flash, you're not. Aside from that, it'd be a terrible marketing move to lock out a huge part of the player base from something as big as an entire system

MR 26 here, btw. This idea is awful.

That prime is still quite a few years out. But her Deluxe is probably near completion.

After Wukong, comes Atlas/Nezha Prime. Then Ivara/Titania. She's coming next Summer approximately. Which isn't too far away

This has been mentioned a lot, and we are indeed going to change this (finally!). All of her abilities will get a trim in animation time, and her 1, 2, and 3rd ability will be upper body only animations.

(more coming as well such as higher Razorfly capacity if Tributes are active, Thorns getting a buff to include Damage Reduction not just Reflection, stay tuned)!

Wonderous news. In preparation for Titania Prime?

Her 4 really needs a change. Either massive nerf reversion or replacement.

Make it a duration based ability. The lasers deal constant, increasing damage against enemies. When Prism expires, a percentage of that damage is dealt as an explosion of light (Radiation damage). Surviving enemies are blinded.

  7. Impact status effect should remove base armor/shields per proc. Puncture should  deal immediate damage through the armor (Slash is damage over time armor bypass; Puncture is immediate bypass). Making Puncture, rightfully, be superior than Slash against armor. Moreover, Puncture procs cannot pierce through shields. Making Puncture the best type against armored targets, while Slash can still be used (alongside Toxin) as a Shield bypasser

And again, like limbo's rift surge, they are separate abilities

Stasis and Rift Surge are NOT two sides of the same coin, however. Your Limbo comparison is rather silly. But, I'll give it a rest. It's not like this is an official Warframe. Which, if it were, DE would merge 1&2. Guaranteed.

  9. 1 hour ago, (XB1)Syun Wukong said:

Not dependent on each other, but dependent on limbo's 1 or 4, which is what I said. Additionally, like I said earlier, you can't even cast Rift Surge unless an enemy is already in the rift. Synergy and dependence are, on occasion, one and the same.

They're dependent on the Rift. Which is not a singular skill, but a whole mechanic behind the Warframe. Again, why not merge 1&2? Why so hesitant? Is it because you can't create another skill in its place? 1&2 are literally two sides of the same coin. How would it feel to have Equinox's Metamorphosis split into two ability slots? One skill for switching to Day, and the other one for Night. Silly, right? Same here. Cast 1 to get in, cast 2 to get out. Why? Merge them and put something new on the second slot.

Gheist's 2 can only be cast from within a host

Again, only possible if casting his 1. Merge 1&2 into a tap/hold skill. It's two sides of the same coin. Exactly like Tailwind/Divebomb

His signature weapon is the Knell, not the Scurge.

Both are his signature weapons. He doesn't have a specific buff/perk with it because DE hasn't implemented it yet. But they already addressed that they will add them (as stated in update 24.6). Same goes for Khora's Hystrix and Dual Keres, and others.

    "Signature Weapon Changes
Having a ‘signature’ weapon now actually benefits you! There are still a few signature weapons that will receive this treatment (Scourge, Hystrix, etc)."

Passive: While possessing an enemy, Gheist takes no damage from enemies and does not set off laser grids.

This is also not a passive, it's a trait of his first ability. Passives cannot be solely triggered by skills or require energy. They have to be constant, skill-independent abilities that can be triggered when a certain condition is met. Some can be triggered by skills, but those same passives can be triggered by other things (Ash's passive can he activated by skills like Shuriken, as well as weaponry).

You mean like limbo's stasis or rift surge? 2 abilities that are useless without the use of either his 1 or 4. It promotes synergy between Gheist's 1 and 2, that way players aren't tempted to just spam his 1.

Stasis and Rift Surge are NOT dependent on each other one bit. Where did you get that from? Both can function independently and synergize. Rift Surge, along the entirety of his kit, depends on the Rift.

Your proposed skill literally cannot be used without using the first one. That is NOT synergy, it's dependence. And is exactly why Wisp's original 3rd skill was overhauled. It could not be used unless you created reservoirs with her 1

Why only those? I see issues with all 4 of her abilities at present. One of her most infuriating aspects is that her claws drain far more energy than any other exalted with no extra benefits. Warcry should also be taken down a peg imo because it's detrimental to her build variety the way it stands.

    Immortality? Lifesteal? Automatic, instant-kill Finishers?

    2.  Emergence. Rip free from a host, causing slash proc, knocking them down and granting you a brief moment of invulnerability and a stealth dmg bonus. If this ability kills its host, also triggers a localized fear effect and grants an additional dmg bonus against affected enemies.

Unaffected by duration, efficiency reduces cost, strength increases fear chance and fear bonus dmg, range increases fear radius

So, a skill that is literally useless without the need of another one? No, bad design. Merge this one with his first.

Thermal sunder: this sucks.. I mean the cc on cold is great, and using the pull combo for melee is fun but thematically it doesn't really fit in my opinion and it feels as if it were thrown in just to fill the 3rd ability slot, I'd understand if gauss had more of an overheat mechanic making it dangerous to go at high battery (imagine sienna from vermintide 2) but since that doesn't exist it just slows down gameplay and wastes your energy to use fire, I'd have preffered a chanel ability like harrows where you channel it to cool gauss down and the longer it channels/cools the more battery efficient kinetic plating becomes and the faster the battery builds charge (or idk make it give battery charge when you ram into fools)

His powers revolve around kinetic energy. Thermal Sunder fits extremely well. Drain kinetic energy from your surroundings and the particles that make up matter will lose that energy. Which means, they slow down or stop moving. Hence, the Cold effect. Vice versa for heat.

With the mainline update, Zephyr received a slight tweak to his Tail Wind ability. In theory, the ability now gets canceled after hitting an obstacle. The problem, however, is that he keeps all his momentum, which means he's still sticking to walls etc., so not much has changed and he's still pretty useless in indoor maps.

    Zephyr is female.
